I am currently playing through altverz, I used to play vanilla pvz2 a lot and I love the changes made so far, because I’m bored I’m just gonna list off ones I like. Also, I need to specify, I’ve done pretty much everything up to dark ages except WWEX-X and all of the extra far future levels. First of all, the dialogue is much better here, and the tutorial has new zombies surprisingly. I love the new placements for plants and premium plants on the world map, progression feels much more realistic when it comes to difficulty. I’m happy they made ae gravestones do something, even if ae necromancy is rare. Extra levels are almost always a joy to play and the finales of each world are great. I love how most plants have been reworked or changed in some way, it makes the game feel so fresh. I love how a lot of zombies are now huge threats, like poncho and jetpack aren’t just filler specials anymore. I love the new premium and coin systems. The amount of new zombies is crazy, because of videos like this, I’ve seen what new zombies there are to come. While I love most of the new levels, some are not so great, such as WWEX-IV, fuck this level. The difficulty really adds to the experience, and having a challenge makes it generally more fun then the base game. In general, this is basically vanilla pvz2 with some tweaks, changes, and additions making it much better overall, 9.5/10 lost .5 because of WWEX-IV specifically. Edit: 5 days later, I still love the mod, but im convinced most of these levels were not playtested, NMT-V, NMTX-V and FC-X are good examples.

Ah, Altverz. The perfect PvZ2 mod. Practically PvZ2 with the things I LOVE about PvZ1. Zombies don't come as quickly, giving you time to set up sun production early on. The plants are practically rebalanced around each other instead of some plants being more powerful but locked behind paywalls. I also found the gimmicks (such as the potions in dark ages), which I would normally hate in vanilla, actually kinda fun. Must play for any PvZ fan.

How dare you bring back memories of Mummy Memory!
...I couldn't defeat it as a 7 year old.
Amazing. Yet again he's not failed to give us the creeps...
Btw don't plant too many power vine. It's hurting my ears and my brains a lot. If devs lower the volume I will play it again.
Then don't use it. It's a B tier gauntlet plant.
Remember in the old version of vanilla pvz 2 the suns you earn is 25 just like in the first game
If i remember from the old gameplays

I wonder why they numbered the levels with Roman numerals? It's weird.
I've played this myself, and I wish there was more bosses.
I love this mod but nothing will beat the (now unavailable) eclise 1.8 experience
I want a full video essay on this mod
Haven’t fully watched the video. I’ve played a bit of eclise, I came back after a couple years to hear that it went downhill which is sad. I really did enjoy the tier system and thought it was fun.
I wonder if you could beat it with Bloomerang
Try it
Well, I actually did
@@karbachok how did it go?
I did it. It was hard and took a long time, but it is possible. Well... It was possible before the newer version where they banned Gumnut from that one Dark Ages level
@@karbachok Good job non the less
this is a very long way to say they balanced peanut
WHAT NEW VIDEO NO WAAAY
i survived
6:45 hornet is not void joke
If the AltverZ devs are here, just a question
"Are there new worlds in this mod?"
(I'm not a dev) A brand new world will be added in 2025: Crimson Front, a war themed world
honestly only reason i wanna use mods is bc of those dam premium plants, if everysingle one was seedium/gemium i would not need mods
I try to download mods and my iPad is like "dude, you trying to kill me?"
That's cause it's a ipad.
Very nice hollow knight reference, lol
The video started right after the cheesy joke
I was so confused
That was the cheesiest intro of all time I love it
Im losing my mind i popped off when the kernel polt png showed up
ALTROZ MOMENTS
Get that Pat!
Just started getting back into pvz through youtube recs, wanted to try pvz 2 again after so long but I cant get my old account and dont want to restart cause how downhill the game went, currently installing this mod cause of your video lol.
Did you have fun? Cause I am
This may sound stupid, but I wanted to be sure, I play PVZ2 Reflourished, and even then I struggle at a certain point, Is really worthy like having two different mods of PVZ2? And if I'm just not that good in the game, Would it still be as enjoyable an experience as a lot of people portray it?
If you use power ups, level your plants to high levels (any level above 3 is high) and still find the vanilla game challenging, mods are not for you, however if you don't, i recommend you finish a mod before playing another one.
I mean you do whatever you want
as a player that does veteran rules, i certify this video
You should make a video for each pvz mod
Wait till the eclipse fans show up
They are like a cult for real, really annoying and thinking the are superior to anyone else.
And Goodpea2 advocating for vietnamese genocides is a thing.
Ironically, from the comments so far, it's the reflourished fans that are acting like a cult and being annoying af.
There's way more eclise haters than fand
@@melvint-p9500 yes and all of them likes big chungus
@@delta-delta I should probably change my desc to something else
what about reflourished
He just don't like it enough.
It's say isn't a bad mod but isn't his cup of tea. Opinions we all have and we should respect that.
we are just not gonna talk about the negative-colored Chard Guards at 7:25
Gimmick level where you have chard guards that fling zombie’s backwards
I wish that they brought the mints back. Like the idea would be that mints aren't an uncommon currency, and you can get the power mints, all for 50 mints instead. How about it?
Seed saver?
More like seed spamer
are you a hk fan? ive heard dat sountrack in ur vids many times
Hey guys have you ever heard of the mod ECLISE, it's a PvZ 2 mod that makes the game more like PvZ 1, and Is superior to PvZ 2 in every way. There are no microtransactions and... that's about it
nah eclise isn't like pvz1, if u want a mod more like pvz1 go play altverz
Eclise isnt really similar to pvz1 or 2, the levels have its own style. It's mostly meant to make the game a lot harder, but it often gets repetitive
@@TeiTheRat I was being sarcastic
Based shotgun peanut
eclise moment😟
@@melvint-p9500 im sorry that shotgun peanut is objectively better then vanilla peanut
i think pvz 1 being easy is what made it a good game. Its chill and relaxing. Pvz2 failed cuz its too hard and the levels are too fast, its no longer relaxing instead its stressful
Pvz2 didn’t fail lmao
It didn't fail because of that, that might be one of the reasons it personally failed for you. Pvz 2 was made for a different kind of players.
Skill issue bro
Pvz 1 was never meant to be a relax game. It was meant to be a strategy game. That why it called a tower defense game.
@@Threepeater6447 every tower defense is a relaxing game except the tryhard ones, building a full strong defense is the most satisfying thing ever.
