Do you have anymore tips for the Zero's at 4.7 BR. I'm still getting slaughter by BnZ players. Today i played 30 games in the Prem. Zero at 4.7. i made 3 wins against Russian aircraft but lost 27 battles against the Americans. most of the games i played against the American aircraft players that last for about 20 to 25 mins because they don't want to come down from 20,000ft to 25,000ft but i know if i climb, they will BnZ me. Not just one but like the entire team dive at me. I got to the point of bailing out now everytime i see more than 2 or 3 planes diving at me
What I learned from this video: 1. Chase enemy 2. Run out of ammo 3. Turn 4. Turn 5. Turn 6. Light on fire 7. Extinguish the fire 8. Get shot down by Spitfire 9. Rinse and repeat

I recommend stealth ammo, so when you sneak up on someone unsuspecting, he won't realise what's going on until it's too late. You can also try and snipe enemies from further away without them dodging your shots as much.
I like using stealth ammo for the cannons. Nothing like someone continuing to fly after only seeing the 7.7 tracers and then watching their wings get blown apart
Awesome video. I can say I'm a Pro at using zeros now after long time of learning to fly them. Head-on is always a no no with zero planes, so many new players never seem to learn that. Also never fly alone, best to stay with the flock of swarming zeros down below at 1000m - 3000m alt just waiting patiently like Piranhas waiting for a meal to come down from above.
@@phoenixfire9176, and so are spacefires..... UK and Japan Air forces are some of the easier ones to learn how to fly (basics wise) in a turn n' burn fighter aircraft, but are also the two who makes players pearn some stupid and nasty habits that are hard to shake off when going for US or Germany planes (lots of Boom and Zoom and Germans also have the cannon aiming issues + Broken and Biased FMs of several planes that should be the other way of Broken, and they say Gaijin doesn't make Bias against German engineered machines.....)
Was very interesting to watch, really loved it and learned a lot more on the Zero than I could have anywhere else. I know you probably won’t see this, but I’ve really been looking for a good review like this on the FW 190s, the D series specifically.
In a Fw-190 D Do not turn even if they looping down they will never be able to catch you 2. keep your altitude that's a must 3. If you found that there is a spitfire is higher than you just do a shallow dive and climb away and get higher than him Then force him low to the ground until he lose all of his energy in a turn trying to avoid your guns until he becomes slow and kill him with ease Works the same way with the BF-109 and the Do-335
Flak 8 Thanks! I’ve found that the Do 335 is fairly good at looping, oddly enough, as well as the BF 109. I’ve always wondered how to beat the spits when they are higher than me, even after side climbing. Now I know lol
@@willfarkas2445 not side climbing Do not side climb when they are still higher than you You just need to yo do a shallow dive and get some distance then shallow climb even If they broke off you still have time to climb And as I said before just force the spits low to the ground once you are above them and make sure that you have enough energy I did side climbing and the spit turned towards me so don't do it
this guide helped me a lot, now I regularly play mainly Zero in Air SB with VR. As mentioned in the video, going high-altitude and BnZ is not recommended in this plane, but you kinda have to, since it is an easy way to establish air superiority in Enduring Confrontations. The Zero is a poor diver. Just be mindful of the speed limits, that's why this video is so useful. In a turnfight, nothing can touch you, except the Spitfire sometimes. Always keep aware of your surroundings, the canopy bars don't matter if you can move your head in the cockpit. The visibility in this plane is excellent, use it to your advantage. I've caught many Corsair pilots unaware from behind. The cannons suck, so only fire when close. Oh, and if the enemy dives to escape, do not follow!
Tip for those playing in the latest patch: The A6M-N's float fuel tank has a tendency to fall off without harming the rest of the plane if it catches fire. It can be handy as a "decoy" of sorts, since a float fire is rarely immediately lethal in the -N.
I ain’t gonna lie, the Japanese tree is about the only tree I truly enjoy. Especially the Zero, as turn-fighting is more of my style. That and bringing glory for the Emperor! But in all seriousness, I remember a match I had a while back flying the A6M5 where I (somehow) managed to get 6+ kills with it within 5 mins or less. It was at low alt and for whatever reason the American team decided to collectively try and turn fight a Zero, with predictable results. Shame I didn’t save the replay, or I did but after my computer killed itself it was lost to time.
As a certain German Ace pilot said: "Engage when conditions are favourable, Don't engage if conditions aren't." US Pilots are really the brain dead usually, going low to ground pound and killing their energy capacity on doing so.... When being in BnZ planes, i never dare stay bellow 2Km of alt to give my aircraft some potential energy to help me getaway really fast whenever i needed.
@@andrehashimoto8056 I've noticed that the mustangs that I fight agaisnt my Chaika turn fight, they lose by over shooting and not being able to do very tight turns due to over confidence maybe?

@@sule.A yeah, go down against a relatively flat piece of terrain like the airfield losing altitude at a rate of about 0.5m/s and should give you enough time to pull up after you tear the floats off without ruining the prop, and if you do ruin the prop you should have enough speed to just repair at the airfield anyway.
damn... should have watched this years earlier, the tips you gave are just the thing I learned through good 50 battles of suffering, but now the Zero (got the Premium one from campaign) is probably my most favorite plane... probably the most favorite vehicle in WT.
You can actually rip off the floatation part of the A6M2-N using the runway and you end up with an A6M2 that has same exact performance as the 3.7 BR Zero in a 2.3 BR plane.
As a zero pilot with a bit off experience i can tell that if u get on fire just turn off ur engine maybe it will help u get to the airfield. And ty for the amaizing tutorial
The funny thing about the float on A6M2N is that it can catch fire even when it's been broken off (i know there could be fuel leaking out of the severed fuel lines it's just that the flame looks exactly the same as if the float was there).
*sight* Talking about the soviet planes, you forget to mention "soviet zero"(I-16 type 27/28). They can be a serious threat to A6M(Zero) if pilot knows what to do with I-16. Pandaramodo u forgot to mention a very useful tip if an enemy is trying to run away u can make them slow down by scaring them by firing the small machine guns. Most of the time when i use this trick my enemies will turn thus losing speed so i can catch them
Also another tip: press the '1' key to fire machine gun rounds from a decent distance, I'd say about 1.5 kilometers away. This will make the enemy dodge and weave. Once the guy gets slow from doing that and goes into a turn to try and outmaneuver you, you can use your superior turn rate to get inside of his/her circle. At a distance of below 0.2km, use your cannons as well by pressing the '2' key and blow the opponent apart.

I find there is no choice but to head to head, trying to avoid, can't dodge their shots and just get destroyed, at least going to head to head, you have a chance to take them out, but still the Zero stands no chance against the P-51
Depends on your piloting skills, I have a spaded a6m3 mod 22 and i have no problem shooting down p59s and p51s, while yes you cant survive a head on and your engine isnt that powerful, what you wanna do is climb to a higher alt and shallow dive or dive on enemies and dodge their incoming shots, you have the turn time to easily get on their tail and enough energy power to hang on, if they begin turning or climbing higher, or split s to dive, their fucked and you can easily keep up with them. Remember, minimize making horizontal turns after a merge since that's how you lose a lot of speed and energy, use vertical loops to get on an enemy's 6 o clock. Also watch out for multiple enemies as your a great target when your busy engaging another enemy. Having good awareness and trigger discipline will make you a deadly force to be reckoned with.
10:58 isn't weather also affecting engine cooling/heating (based on which map) 11:16 i highly disagree. No offense, but 7.7 is pretty good. Maybe didn't have good RoF as Soviet's ShKAS, but the bullets are good (PhlyDaily proved this)
turn time yes? I believe you mean turn time no. As in, turn takes no time. That being said, the Zeke's guns are generally more potent, and the Zero is a bit more capable of following enemies than the Hayabusa as well

hmmm, good guide though it is lacking tips for ground RB specific playstyle which is what I'm looking for since I don't play air. Great tips anyway though.
Help, realistic controls, Xbox, 12 gauge shotgun, mouth, pain, no pain, help time low.
I heard that zero used wood ammunition, is that true?
I got the American zero and I'm decent at flying it it's just I have trouble shooting it's weak guns
15:51 ヘッドオン
Im going for the Ki line, is this the same as the naval fighter line? Since both has no armor weak guns and maneuverability
Am I the only one who knew were the intro music came from?
10:58 isn't weather also affecting engine cooling/heating (based on which map)
11:16 i highly disagree. No offense, but 7.7 is pretty good. Maybe didn't have good RoF as Soviet's ShKAS, but the bullets are good (PhlyDaily proved this)
11:13 "canopy design limits visibility" lol wut? Sakai praised the zero for it's high visibility so did that allies. unless you mean playing in sim
I still just keep dying I manage to stay alive for 5 minutes if I'm lucky. I just can't do anything to bf 109s and mustangs diving at me
How do you for fight Germans Italians and The Swedish in the zero? Because now you always fight with America against everyone else.
Sod the Zero, just play the Ki-43 III. Fighting altitude? Any. Speed? Almost. Turn time? Yes.
turn time yes? I believe you mean turn time no. As in, turn takes no time.
That being said, the Zeke's guns are generally more potent, and the Zero is a bit more capable of following enemies than the Hayabusa as well
hey was this video from a different youtuber? he sounds different from your other videos and the channel you linked seems different too? I want to see more content like this where can I find it?
how did you show an animated pilot inside the cockpit
Where do you find all these operational air speeds?
I need to know what the song is.
Does this exist for bf 109s anywhere? Great video
what's the song at the start? i've heard it before but i forgot what it's called
It’s the theme of WWII in color
Actually....I do know how to prepare a Sashimi...
I'm actually good with this plane but THATS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
