I came in for the title but Cinelike-D actually does look better than V-Log L in this experiment. You're right. It looks like there is no perfect profile. Thank you for this.

I only care about dynamic range. And cine D looks so good to me and many times very accurate colors

I don't have noise reduction software so what setting in your opinion do you think I should put my noise reduction in my color profile. I have different color profiles that I use but my main one is portrait color profile with con -2, sharpness -3, noise reduction -5, saturation -1 since portrait profile tend to saturate the oranges a little to much. I have been using noise reduction at -5 but find my footage a little noisy. I don't mind noise but just like to get rid of it a little so is -3 on noise reduction good enough or too much. 0 to me is too much so I am thinking maybe -3,-2 would be ok.

Cine-d for day time,-3 contrast, and -5 for everything else, the for lowlight,cine-v and all set to 0.thats what I seem to get on with, but have seen someone get great looking footage with standard profile.the choices.😫

Excellent experiment. For some reason hassle free Natural colour profile appeals to me
