This is just an update to track myself and where I am at roughly 8 months out. I am able to go back to work full time, go out to dinner, drive a car and I am in the process of rewiring my brain and letting go of the past. The progress I have made from where I was at 6-8 months ago is literally night and day. In saying this I still have irrational anxiety, cognitive fog, and a host of other symptoms from time to time, but the severity is nothing like it was the first few months.
I understand that I am so much more than my past, benzo withdrawal and any looping/intrusive/negative thoughts. They are all just thoughts, things out of my control and in general are just not me. I am a survivor in the process of learning how to practice self-care, accept good things, worthy of great positive energy and I am a strong spirit in general. I am at a point where I don't have time for negative energy from other people and myself. I deserve so much more in my life, and I deserve the amazing energy coming my way because I am worthy of it. My looping/negative thoughts are slowing down, and I understand that the more I speak about them like they are me the more I give them power. They are just thoughts that are getting weaker and weaker.
All of these symptoms are going to go away and be a distant memory and even if they come back from time to time, I know that they are weak and just thoughts. I am in the process of learning how to accept this new energy and allowing it to manifest.
I am strong, intelligent, funny, compassionate, giving, survivor, and many more great things to come.

Lance, try warm almond milk, cinnamon, turmeric. Before bed. It helps with insomnia

      Namaste, Dan. Cookies!! 😂
I’m with you; moving our bodies is incredibly helpful; anxiety feels like energy that’s…stuck. Feeling in flow, when we are caring for ourselves with our healthy habits is indescribable, isn’t it? Music…ahh, the Gift that never stops giving! Yes to Epsom salt baths! 👏🏻👏🏻Keeping it simple.
Thank you, Dan. Fantastic to see you.
      We breathe together. 💖

Yes, its challenging but what you are suggesting keeps the senses sensitive. That way, one can be in tune with surroundings and process life as it comes.
