That was impressive especially if you still had those aftermarket wheels and tires on it. It would be extremely interesting to see how much quicker it would be with the OEM's
Definitely give Oz Tuning a try, too. I love mine, The shifting is super smooth and the power gains are excellent. But, the best part is that you can run pump gas, E85 or a blend of both without having to reprogram the PCM.

Also you should really have a battery charger on that thing while loading a tune. I'm sure you're battery is good but as the battery ages you can get into alot of trouble without having a charger on it.
No if battery dies during a computer update like that a lot of times it will fry the pcm or delete all its memory and will have to have a new pcm and have to be dealer programmed he is not being a drama queen it happens had it happen to me
@@alliebarnett3143 if the battery goes dead while the tuner is writing it the PCM will either be bricked or will have to go to the dealer to get as built data loaded on to it. If the tuner can no longer recognize the PCM you are screwed. You sound like a complete idiot.
I'm sitting here with a 2015 5.3 LT thinking....how much would I have to spend to reach this amount of acceleration? After calculating, trading it in is the best option
Loving this build more and more with every mod!! Did you have a different wheel setup when you did the stock E85?? If so, I wonder how quicker it would be?? L…A…R…R…Y…!!!
Wait are u actually gonna cam Larry. Go with the NSR Mutha Thumper cam for your truck which is the 5.4L 2v I think yours could be the 3v but im pretty sure yours is the 2v the NSR Mutha Thumper has the most chop on a 5.4L ever go to summit Racing and get it P.s your truck is only the 5th Generation F150
Remember you had lighter wheels when you got the first tune these wheels you currently running much heavier if you had the same wheels as before youd def feel the power difference
On the 5 Star tune it seems like it launches better, maybe better shift points? which may be they've also programmed the transmission better than the SCT tunes.
Hey man, so I’m looking into a 2021 5.0 f150 similar to yours just a dark grey. So with 5 star tuning did they datalog your truck any or no? I’m looking for a tuner for when I get one so I’m just curious..
Do headers and 3" exhaust, air intake, ported throttle body, a Corvette servo for the transmission. Then get it tuned at a good dyno tuner. Don't waste your time or money with these Programers. So many people can tune the LS no need to buy a plug in programer. I had a Edge programer on mine and it messed up my ECM when I tried swapping tunes. Had to have it reflashed, then just ended up having it dyno tuned.
@@chevyboybennett may as well sell it to compete with anything unless you go boost sadly unless you have a 8 speed or 10 speed you’re at a high disadvantage
@@thecrow1727 yah depends if he cares about that though haha. Turbo is the only way unless you want to spend big money. These new transmissions make anything fast.

These newer f150s are INSANE! This makes me want to go trade my 12 5.0 in for a 21. Maybe next year 😅
I’m going with AllMotorLabs cannibal tune. I should get it next month sometime I’m really excited for it.
Allmotorlabs ftw
It’s crazy how e85 is a lot higher than 87 there. Here it’s about 20 cents cheaper for e85 than 87.
Yup unfortunately in Alabama it's higher in most places. In the Midwest it's significantly cheaper.
Need to get a whipple on that thing… and get with livernois💪🏻💪🏻
I love this truck. Keep the good videos coming
Go with OZ omega tune. No need to reflash for different fuels.
Flexible tunes dont make as much power as fuel specific tunes. So it depends on your goals.
@@lil2.74 yes they do. They just take time to adjust to the appropriate octane table in the tune.
Ortiz over oz 😂
Allmotorlabs tune for sure best for 5.0’s

I have the same tune from 5 star tuning on the same truck lol. It’s great
Have you ever figured out the howling/ humming noise if so what was it

What's the howling noise that goes away around 4th gear? Almost sounds like spinning tires but obviously it isn't.
You should get some subs or something for one of your trucks like Larry and upgrade the speakers and just make the music sound good 😂
Do you miss the 6.2? Which do you prefer and why?

What’s the specs on the wheel and tire setup at the beginning
