- Some say that Sniper Island can only be found in your heart, but I decided to make a piece of it real by building a life-sized, fully functional replica of Sogeking's Kabuto, from Eiichiro Oda's globe sweeping pirate masterpiece - One Piece.

It’s a pretty bold statement saying that Usopp could surpass Sogeking.
I think Usopp is going to beat Sogeking just like Zoro is going to beat Mihawk. It’s the series natural progression.
I really hope Sogeking comes back one day. Would be great for him to see Usopp's progression.

Since it was revealed that usopp is actually a god, I think it’s pretty apparent Usopp is going to be stronger in the end. As Eminem put it: why be a king, when you can be a god.

it was amazing. only one thing was missing, the kabuto is detachable
a guy with a long nose broke into my house with that same weapon. Luckily, I used Down D. Stairs to teleport them to the top of the stairs, then making them fall instantly killing them.

I think that just like Zoro is going to fight Mihawk and become the best swordsman by the end of the series, Usopp is going to fight Sogeking and become the best Sniper. It’s just a matter of time.

To any people who haven’t used a nice slingshot…
The rubber bands need to be very strong in order for more force to be applied. A lot of people don’t have the wrist strength to actually pull back on a slingshot and keep it steady. Usopp uses FIVE bands that can send his ammo flying accurately for MILES. Even though he may be the physically weakest of the strawhats, among real world people his upper body strength would be otherworldly. This guy could rip your limbs off with zero effort.

Usopp can't surpass Sogeking, because when he reaches Sogeking's level he will inherit his cape and become a new Sogeking continuing the legend of the king of marksmen.

bro that cuts that u made in rubber and looped it in itself near the pouch will become bigger and bigger in even a demonstration use only. please find another way to make that joint more durable also the nots u made in rubber to lock it in the wooden hole ,try noting it with a piece of wood so it could never open from there and never hits the user back

This confirms Usopp's mastery of woodworking
so i definitely like the way its built, being thrown together of things you have already, since its more unique then simply using the best materials possible for everything like other channels do, but i think there should be more scenes with kabuto and it shooting things, the point of the video is to make a weapon, so i don't think its personally good to take away watching the full capability of it.
well, there's also black kabuto, which is currently usopp's main weapon so it's something i guess
Ya know, same as ol' everybody from the crew. I believe that by the end of the series, Usopp is going to be a thing of myth in the One Piece World, with legions of 8,000 people at his disposal, The Sniper of the Straw Hats, "God" Usopp. And you know what? Good for him, because Usopp is the man.

@salad Legitimately, my going theory is that, with Luffy as Pirate King, the next generation of Emperors will be Law, Kidd, Katakuri (replacing his mother), and Buggy.
It's the logical endpoint for a character who's been accidentally gaining power and influence in the background.

Rubber bands won't last long, I'd recommend using tire strips. Tires are not nearly as elastic, but if they're not too thick you'll probably be able to pull it
Sogeking is so cool, its a shame he just disappeared one day, i hope he meets usopp soon
Nice. Should probably make the rubber bands shorter in order to get more tension since you can only pull it back a limited amount.
100% agreed. I was going for visual accuracy over power, but I might retrofit it to see how much distance I can get out of it!

A tip for painting: Paint with a primer first and the wood will rise Sand it down, paint with your desired color (base coat) and roll your final coat with a foam roller.
