If this was an actual game, Usopp's moveset would be so annoying to play against, since like 90% of his moves stun you, or give status effects.
And is perfect for runners
And campers
He's is the ultimate zoner.
To balance him out, his durability would be pathetic, like 5 heavy attacks and he’s DONE
If you need keybinds for his moves you need like 100 buttons 💀
Unlike his comrades, Usopp's abilities aren't mostly meant to kill you. Most of them are meant to MAKE YOU SUFFER.

For a dedicated One Piece game, I think it makes more sense for the characters to have willpower rather than health points.
Nah, the Straw Hats rarely fight to kill. In fact, being able to walk the line between life and death is really important for Zoro especially, because when he initially met Hawkeye, he was cut just enough to keep him barely alive. That is what it means to be a master swordsman.
@@aggy5372 I like to think that for the other strawhats, it's because they often face exceedingly tough opponents who are able to survive even their most lethal attacks. Zoro in particular draws his strength explicitly from being willing tl not only put his life on the line, but every ounce of power he has into his attacks. KILLING power, to end the fight.
It really is just a happy coincidence (called "target audience") that most of his opponents are able to live to see the next year.
But for Usopp, because he knows his strength is lacking, he creates attacks with usually no concern for power, so most of abilities would not kill the average OP citizen (although some certainly might).
Usopps attacks are basically if a child had to invent an attack with whatever they want

ussops attacks are mainly based on the natural reaction and effect that certain elements have to the body (pepper, excruciating thoughts of pain, being hit in the eye by a rubber band, a 10t hammer etc etc)
I'll always love Usopp because he doesn't need an akuma no mi or other flashy powers to look BADASS. It's also exciting when he comes with a new cool move, words can't describe how HYPED I felt when he used Firebird Star in Ennies Lobby or the Devil Seed.

Usopp names his abbilities as stars because of the mythical tengu(flying creature with a long nose ) he shoots stars and manipulates plants just like usopp.

@@MonkeyDRider1 Sniper island is in our hearts. So what if Sogeking is a hero that gets summoned by Usopp whenever he's needed just like in Thriller bark. This theory could explain why Sogeking doesn't show up later in the story.
ok, not gonna lie, 5-ton pound and 10-ton golden pound gave me chills when i saw it for the first time, even though I knew Usopp at that point, and what lies he's capable of making up.
5 ton I actually believed, but 10 ton was a bit much.
Ussop was great but I didn't expect Sogeking to appear, doesn't explain what happened to Ussop though.... although Sogeking was there for a little bit but It's kinda coincidental how Ussop came back as soon as Sogeking went, I wonder why.... besides that Ussop was very well animated and very accurate from the show with a touch of *wow that fantastic*

Usopp was so useful back then he was the liar, trade man, weapon creator, sniper, the designer of jolly roger, the first shipwright.
People lowkey slept on how much Usopp contributed in early one piece by being the only generalist in the crew when he isn't on sniping duty.

Before, he made Kabuto by using Dials to impart speed and spin to his projectiles, or would use Kendall items cleverly, like using rotten eggs to hide the smell of gas to create a giant explosion. Now, he just has a plant for everything
