      Very great conversation! Good points.
Unfortunately wrong on the cause.. not the war is the reason. It's reason Arabs waged War on Israelis. It's Islamic Ideology. They won't get rid of it, no matter what Israel is doing in the future and as long there are several Tribes with Islamic Ideology or influence by Iran. It has to change with Leaders or external Rulers of the Arabs in Palestinian.

Cannot happen unless the Justice is Paid & the seed of The power of Peace & love is given, so that you , the individuals, are changed in your heart as was Kamal Saleem and Afshin Javid, & Tass Saada, and messianic Jews. Ezekiel 3626. THIS IS NOT JUST FOR INTERNATIONAL relations, but family and neighbours, who are suffering lack of peace & love. All nations have internal conflict & abuse. Medication, religion & good intentions have no lasting strength.
We need to respond to The God of Mercy, Justice & have personal relationship with Him, who sent Jesus Jn.18v37. Those mentioned above explain on youtube. GOD did nOt create us to be separated from Him eternally.

I think you're misunderstanding what he's saying. He's not saying that we should just open the floodgate and make the proverbial "one state solution". He's saying that in order for there to be peace, there needs to be a dissolution of the competing national narratives. There needs to be a situation where both national narratives are seen as non-contradictory and symbiotic. This is a mental shift which will take a long time to reach, which is why he's saying step 1 is to simply begin to see eachother as family.

    • @lucaskohn5457
      @lucaskohn5457 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@trollnerd indeed, the only challenge, however how to fight said narratives. Being israeli Rudy can, at least, freely travel through Israel proper spreading his message, but how to reach for the palestinians? Not saying that it is impossible, but both governmental repression and the population's reaction to an isreali spreading such message in their territory (on the streets) may put him in danger. As he said, palestinians have no freedom of speech, and without it spreading a message of peace is much harder. As for convincing israelis there is still the chalenge of convincing them to look after the needs of people who they consider as terrorists. The israeli settlers in West Bank are, to me, the worst when it comes to embracing this worldview, and as terrorism continues to be practiced, more and more israelis feel desiluded of such possibility. In their minds they did all they could to live in peace, but the violence didn't stop, so they gradually get radicalized. Fighting against this flow (that exists on both sides) is extremely dificult, specially when you can barely comunicate to "the other side". I honestly hope Rudy can grow this movement evermore, because it is defenetelly needed.

@@trollnerd, good synopsis. If the work starts now, it could be accomplished for next generation. The Hamas schools of indoctrination would have to go. I saw an interview with an Arab journalist who was saying that based on her talks with many Arab citizens of Gulf States, they are tired of all the wars and want to find a way to peace. She said they are fighting terrorists groups in their own countries and are sick of them. So what is left? Islamic State of Iran (not the people, the regime), Hamas, and Hezbollah (she said most citizens of Lebanon want them out, look at what they have done to that beautiful country). These are the ones that affect the Palestinians and Israelis. The Houthis, ISIS, etc., are for the Arab states to deal with. She said a big problem now is that when the Arab countries kick them out, they go to Europe, the US and other Democratic countries and bring their hate with them. The West is going to have to step up in that regard. They are starting too, but have a long way to go. They are now indoctrinating the youth of the West.

I now agree, I didn't know the extent of effort and hope in the peace camp in the 90s or maybe in the 80s. Israelis hoping for a good land for peace deal that everyone could accept.
Then Einar Wilf describe the great disappointment that Arafat walked away. No prominent Palestinians objected to him walking away. Next, the intifada, the riots the stabbings the bombings the murder, AS THE RESPONSE TO SINCERE PEACE NEGOTIATIONS.
I also loosely believed that Islam was like Christianity or the Jewish religion. I did not know that there were more verses committed to killing Jews than the number of anti-jewish versus in Hitler's Mein Kampf.
Just a few months ago, I wouldn't have noticed because I didn't read it in the news, Apostate Prophet pointed out that Abbas in the West Bank ordered Islamic clerics to begin emphasizing the Gharqad Tree verse, which few Jews know about but every Muslim has been taught since childhood. It's a prophecy from Muhammad about annihilating the Jews, Sura 2922 in Sahih Muslim, meaning an authoritative source.
That is a hump that is difficult to get over, culturally, though anything is possible.

as an Indian, Israel-Palestine fells more complex than India-Pakistan best of luck guys peace ✌and thanks Late British empire for this mess
Edit: Thank you for the likes, everyone. By the way, the "complex" terms I've used are subjective to me; they may be different in your views. I mentioned this because it's common to see Indians and Pakistanis working together in other countries with few or no problems, even on the internet, appreciating each other. However, I've observed that many Palestinian people have hatred towards Israelis which maybe justifiable for them and their opinion, and perhaps the same might be true on the other side, which is not morally right. We need to agree on certain grey areas that lead to peace, even if it may sound's unjust, as it is likely the most truthful path compared to other three options mentioned by Mr. Rudy. And I love the modern British people and I've mention their old empire not the modern people.

India Pakistan isn't complicated at all. That is 2 separate peoples who received their own lands. Muslims cannot live with idol worshipers. It's written in the Qur'an. Either we follow God or we follow individualism. Individualism is evil. Look at what individualism has done to western society. Israel Palestine is more complicated because there is only 1 land and 2 peoples. And the Jews believe in individualism.

    • @maracohen5930

It is far more complicated. The Mandate for Palestine was not a Colony, and yet the British broke basic International Laws that put the Mandatory under their governance by treating it as such. Their national policies caused huge amounts of Jewish Death while they were appeasing Arab Nations in exchange for Suez Access, and Oil. They sought to sabotage the mandated People of the Western Side of the Mandatory, while playing Patron to the Arab side. They were even part of the Jordanian Arab Legion when the Arab League attacked the brand new Israel.

yea because Gaza doesn't even have the most basic services like sewers, and the reason for that is the Isreal blockade plus many Palestinians at least had a single person from their family killed by isrealies soldiers or were arrested by isrealies soldiers keep in mind that over 80% of the Palestinian hostages taken by Isreal are minors and it was proved several times by many journalists, news channels and documents that most of them didn't commit any crimes, so you kill people, you blow up their houses and blow up their friends and family, you give them poor service and then you ask why they hate you?, and as I said above there are Arabs who live at Isreal and don't try to act like they got the same rights as isrealies they get far less rights but they get basic services like sewers, education and medical treatments, and there are no isrealies in Palestine because they don't even have the basic services and they will be kicked out the second they put their legs in.

Rochman, your ancient Israelite land claims are just silly.
Innumerable cultures, kingdoms and empires, big and small have existed throughout the history of humanity.
ALL OF US alive today are descendants of individuals who inhabited those cultures, kingdoms and empires.
Does that give ALL OF US rights (or at least some rights) to the land of those ancient cultures, kingdoms and empires?
Or are land rights based upon other concepts like continuous inter-generational occupancy and things like (legitimate) purchases, rent or even just human need?
The Israelites from some (relatively short-lived) kingdoms were dispossesed a few thousand years ago.
Do Zionists or anyone practicing or converting to Judaism today around the world have more than just imaginary ties with them?
Even if Israelis could prove a certain percentage of DNA relatedness, your 23andme ancestry report
is not a land deed, and it certainly doesn’t entitle you to anybody’s house or paid mortgage.
If my 23andMe ancestry results say that I have some percentage Mongolian ancestry, that doesn’t give me the right to reclaim the Mongol Empire and take somebody’s home in China or Russia where that empire was.
Like I said earlier, everyone’s DNA is from a human past which was replete with (now long gone) cultures, kingdoms and empires.
Imagine all the complications that would ensue if we traced everyone’s ancestors and tried to allocate some land rights they had based on that past, which probably involved different occupancies of the same land by different peoples and civilizations during different millenia.
And how far back would we go? Could we include the longest period of Homo Sapiens existence-human prehistory- where humans were hunter gatherers?
Even if we restricted these “land rights” to the “civilized” neolithic period, ALL modern nations today would have to cede some land rights to people from other nations because all modern nations exist on the land of previous cultures, kingdoms and empires- whose human descendants are all over the place. It’s comical to even attempt the thought experiment
Even more so if we tried to allocate these land rights based on how much people’s beliefs approximate to those who occupied those ancient cultures, kingdoms and empires.
Imagine I convert to Mongolian shamanism today. An ancient version of it.
In that act of conversion, do Mongolians become my ancestors?
Do I gain rights to their ancient land?
    Of course not
The Mesopotamian civilizations worshipped the sun god Shamash.
Imagine I convert to their Mesopotamian religion and become a sun worshiper.
In that act of conversion, do Mesopotamians become my ancestors?
Do I gain rights to their ancient land (e.g. Iraq)?
    Of course not
If I can’t claim Mongolian or Mesopotamian ancestry (or certainly land ) merely by converting to Mongolian shamanism or Sun worshipping, why should I be able to claim Israelite ancestry (or land) merely by converting to Judaism?
A much stronger claim to land rights is continuous occupancy.
The Arabs of Palestine had resided continuously in that area for over 1000 years.
True, the census around the year 1800 shows that about 5000 individuals practicing Judaism (Jews) resided in Palestine (co existing with hundreds of thousands of Muslims and a minority of Christians).
This minority of judaism-practicing individuals and their descendants did have continuous occupancy for a long time (as long as the Arabs as far as I’ve read).
Of course, there’s nothing wrong with immigration of any kind so long as it does not infringe on the rights of the people already in the land- in the case of Palestine the large majority of Arabs whose rights were violated.
Zionists immigrated into Palestine with the intent of expelling Arabs and taking over their land in an ethnically preferential state.
The result was war and a horribly abusive apartheid, now culminating in genocide.
Nevertheless, by virtue of continuous occupancy, inter-generational Israelis have now gained certain rights to the land.
The international consensus is a Palestinian state in the whole of the West Bank and Gaza, which gives Israelis far more land than they deserve- 78% of the former Palestine.
Since even the 1948 partition that provided 56% to Israel was grossly unjust, this 78% doesn’t reflect an approach based on justice, but a realistic partial acceptance of the historical principle of “might makes right”.
Of course, partial acceptance is not enough for most Israelis, who demand 100% of the land and no Palestinian state from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean sea.
