Eddie's 1993 Acura NSX NA1 - Mita's ABS Conversion | Paint and Refinish Bumper (Episode 3)

- In this episode of this series, our team will be performing a few more additional repairs before we ship this vehicle to the next owner in Ohio.
We start this vehicle by upgrading our old leaking and not operational first generation ABS system to the newer and compact ABS system from the second generation NA2 ABS System. This is a 100% bolt-on system without any alternation to the existing mechanical or electrical system, utilize Mita's plug-n-play conversion ABS harness and all factory OEM mechanical components.
Then we finished the video by repairing and refinishing the rear upper bumper cover. With over 8+ layers of paint, watch us how to prep and paint this bumper back to the original finish.
We are pleased this vehicle going to a nice home with a new owner that would appreciate as Eddie would. #RIPEddie

Amazing work guys.
Very similar old system on my 90 Prelude Si, it actually had a badge on the B pillar "A.L.B." for of course anti-lock brakes. The other option was 4ws which mine unfortunately didn't have. That abs modulator failed long before I ever owned it and occasionally made a mooing sound lol. I unplugged it so it would be quiet and the brakes like they said on the NSX, would and did still work regardless of the ALB system failing.

I read in the nsx group that s2000 abs has different brake bias being that it is front engine and nsx is rear. Also s2000 abs does not have build in tcs module.

Looks like the license plate light assemblies are still available. Would recommend at least new lenses, only about $10 each. Made a big difference on my Integra when I changed all the lighting to LED.

Ford came out with an ABS that people called a fake abs it work differently from early ABS systems but ford saw early on that was not a reliable system and did not adopt those kind of systems they made there own so I still have my Ford Econoline van from the early 90s and the ABS works sort of but it work pretty smart they knew early adoptees of ABS would fail

AHC guys, love the videos! I had an idea for an upcoming video. What about a vid on how to upgrade a 3rd gen TL, from stock front brakes to the Type-S 07 - 08 Brembo front brake calipers? I see a lot of guys wanting to do this to their 3rd gen TL's.

Good guys! I will do same NA2 ABS conversion kits in my JDM NA1 soon💪🏻It seems a lot procedure when ordering the whole ABS kits…Question is possible take the opportunity to reusing the S2000 ABS until as you said? Which parts no. you able to sharing? Thanks in advance🙏🏻

I thought the ABS system updated in 2000. Was there a difference between the 2000 and the 2002 ABS systems?
