Nice! I'm glad that someone your age appreciates the NSX. There's so much to appreciate. I got my NSX at 17 years old, but took my years to learn about the car. 22 years later, I'm still enjoying my NSX!
I'm exactly twice your age at 40 years old (yay math), and I have to say that I was somewhat skeptical of what kind of video a 20 year old would make about owning an NSX. The answer is: an incredible video. You're wise beyond your years, young one. Your car knowledge is impressive for your age, and your sense of stewardship for this incredible car makes you a worthy owner. Me, I own nothing so legendary, but two years ago my father gave me his 2001 Celica GTS which has become my maintenance/restoration project. It's amazing how much there is to know about our cars and how to take good care of them if you want to do right by these older but great cars. Best of luck with your continued ownership. I'm happy to see that your NSX is in great hands. Happy and safe driving 👍
Brian! What a mind blowing coincidence! I rarely ever read comments, and it's even rarer for me to leave a comment. I was just about to leave a comment for this impressive young man here (to basically give him the same props that you did). If you haven't seen his Porsche 928 video, you have to check it out. The production quality is as good as, if not better, than some of the legends on TH-cam. His facts in that video are also spot on - I know because I have a 1987 928 S4 and I have watched just about every 928 video that exists. That's actually how I got here - the 928 video he posted a few weeks ago showed up in my feed, and I thought it was so well done that I came to (and subscribed) to his channel. Wow! I had no idea you had a Celica GTS! That's awesome! I would love to see it! I have 3 iconic (but not crazy expensive) "vintage" cars... - 1986 BMW E30 (I shared it with my dad when he bought it new) - 1987 Porsche 928 S4 - 1999 Toyota Land cruiser (100 Series) (the one I drove when we used to meet up to ride) Hope to ride with you again one of these days! Terry
The NSX is my all time favorite car and I’m still trying to get one today since they so expensive. Great video and I just want to say it’s really nice to see someone take such good care of their car that’s older than the owner lol. Very informative keep up the great work 👍
As an owner of a 91 Sebring Silver of 17+ years, I greatly appreciate seeing younger folks taking the torch on keeping these on the road. I bought mine with 26K miles and she now has 115K. Original clutch still. As you talked about the transistors (you meant capacitors) in the climate control board, another issue is the brake lamp indicator lighting up, which can mean bad board capacitors. Fairly easy fix. Keep up the great content!
Didn't know what to expect going into a video of a 20 year old describing what it's like to drive around in an NSX but was pleasantly surprised. You did this video incredibly well and you are entertaining to watch. Subscribed and looking forward to learning more about the NSX, maybe something I can use on mine.
I agree 100%. This kid's an old soul and really understands his car and the responsibility involved in maintaining it. I wasn't expecting that from someone of his still tender age.
Great video. Thanks. I changed out my ABS to a later model here in Japan at Honda Cars for just over $2,000. At Suzuka I never had ABS so learnt very quickly to have the car balanced while braking. Tried again with the ABS and felt like I had lost some control over the car on the circuit. For a panic stop on the street then the ABS is a must. Have used NSX Prime so many times. Honda parts are not expensive here and labour charges at Honda Cars starting about 15 years ago are sometimes so cheap as for me not to bother getting my hands dirty.
@@driftindonuts It is rare that I trigger the ABS on my 1991 car, however the one major incident I have had in the 16 years I've owned the car would have been massive and destroyed the car if it wasn't fitted. As it was, even in the midst of the scariest moment I've had on the road I was marvelling at just how rapidly the car pulled up when you really absolutely definitely needed it to!
I hear a lot of naysayers saying they would never get an auto. But people who drive one say they love it. I'm on the fence because autos are cheaper but don't want to look back a year or couple years and say I now want an manual.
If your willing to go aftermarket I highly recommend Foundry 3 mounts, I installed them in my car and am very happy with them. The car overall handles better, shifts better, and feels tighter. The road noise is minimal(which is usually a big issue with aftermarket motor mounts) if yours aren’t cracked then science of speed can refurbish them back to oem which is much cheaper than going with new oem ones, those are $$$$
What's your 1st name, by the way..... I am Elliot in ft Lauderdale, Florida.... I will Tomo purchase the 4 motor mounts from Kuya Auto (foundry3) as you recommended...! Thanks so much for the Awesome video....! I watched them All...!!! Turning my friends onto your Channel..... Your NSX LOOKS & SOUNDS GREAT.... PULP FICTION SCENE... LOL...!
@@driftindonuts hey Zach.... I want to thank you again for your informative videos and also I did call and email for the 4 MOTOR mounts but I left a message on the Google voice answering machine.... No clue until someone emails. Or. Alla my cellphone... I left all the info.... I'm going to patiently wait I guess! Thanks buddy
Last time I emailed kuyauto they responded in less than 24hrs. You might want to try emailing foundry 3 to see if they might be able to speed that process up if there is a delay. Good luck!
Hi Zach, I'm still waiting on the " Foundry 3 Motor mounts from Kuyauto.... I contacted them but Nothing? Any other ideas? They were $899.00, but still seem. To be Back ordered? I'd really appreciate any help you an offer Zach. Thanks ELLIOT

Heck yeah he should! Back in my day we didn't have these darn V6 Hondas the kids are driving these days. We just had the good ol V8 and that's all we needed
Put a v10 in and new seats and suspension and trans too for the v10. Then it will be a fast good car. Nice its all aluminum though. But it can stress over time. This REALLY is just a honda accord with uncomfortable seats. Put a cool stereo in too. OR I WONT WATCH OR SUBSCRIBE....HAHA

Great review, very well put together, have had my NSX for 13 years, never looking back, most reliable car I've ever owned.
105k miles on mine and its still going strong thanks to some great repair shops. I love to see these on the raod and doing what they do best.

Great job. I have a '97 and everything you said was on point. The sad part is when they discontinue products and you're trying to keep it stock.
Dedication is key.

Hey, awesome video! I’m currently looking at buying one and this was very helpful and well made video. Thanks a lot! Keep it up:)
Great perspective..
It means that you should thank God for being able to drive a car like this at such a young age. In your age I was driving a Nissan Micra.

Science of speed sells an engine for the NSX. I think you can't get them up to 750bhp at the crankshaft
Actually the NSX heads have hemi-spherical combustion chambers already. Its a hemi from the factory.
