Amazing video! It’s very informative and to the point. Depicts entire installation clearly. As one other person mentioned, the audio needs a little tweaking so it’s smooth and consistent for the duration of the video. Overall great video, subscribed, keep em coming 💯
This Zanardi knob on the Zanardi stalk is a great mod. I have a 91 and I love it. I chose the type R mesh shift boot and it looks awesome. I had to do very minor mod to the neck of the boot involving making very small holes and using a zip tie. Works great.
Got a 2000 and the SOS short shift kit, as well as a knob similar to Zanardi , but not so tall,,,,keeps it low ,,,also from SOS,,,,love it. Matches the inner SOS door handles in brushed aluminum look.
So much detail in one part. It looked like the angle brought the shifter closer to the driver and coupled with the knob, it probably feels like it shifts itself with the weight and angle of the throw.
Curious, are you able to provide some information on what you have going on between the seats there? 2-8’s? Curious,,,any vids on the stereo build? I’m running focal 6.5 components in doors, 4” Boston acoustic in panels behind seats where seatbelts are anchored, and 10” pioneer slim sub in footwell Powered by alpine 5 Channel,,, but always interested in other options. Thanks. Love the channel by the way.....used to have a 95 legend LSS coupe type 2....sold it for a TL.....that legend was amazing for the day.
Thanks for the video. I have the SoS knob and am waiting on delivery of the shifter later this month from Mita. Your video reminded me to buy some urea grease! I need a nutdriver like the one you used. It looks like it works like a mini impact wrench. What model would you suggest for a shade tree mechanic and what setting would you use for proper torque for a job like the shifter? Thanks. (impact wrench or drill driver - what were you using?)
For the beginner, we will suggest to use drill driver. But impact wrench are ok as well since they now have different torque setting where it sat limits. Milwaukee has been our choice for electric power tool. An electric ratchet or drill/impact driver will be a great choice.

Zanardi/type s boot is similar to NA1 type-r boot and it’s available at MITA. Just ordered one with Zanardi knob.

We are located on Pembroke Pines, Florida. As of now, the Zanardi shifter is out stock from dealer stock. Hope you can find it from your shop
