I realize this is a two year old video, but I started Watch Honda/Acura videos again after almost 5 years being a Subie owner, and I have to say, you guys have probably the best TH-cam channel in the galaxy. Thank you for taking me back to my Honda roots, I may just switch over to Hondas again. Lol
Definitely enjoyed this video, i got excited when he turned it on and said he's gonna drive the hell out of it but the video ended within a minute, need to see beast in action !
Love the video. From what I can see in the background you have a great collection of Acura and Honda cars. I have my own mini Acura Honda garage... attached to my house. 1994 GSR and 2004 S2000. Both red. Sitting patiently waiting for spring to arrive.
Very detailed footage on this marvelous Red Metallic 1994 NSX, I will always love Honda products. They make their vehicles relatively easy to work on for the owners!!!!!
Great F&F reference on the parts! Cannot believe you got that car for $20k! What a steal, and with the car being dirty means its being driven! Looks brilliant!
Since you went thru all that process I would of cleaned the old plastic parts and sprayed them to a prestige outcome, then put all the radiator back. Well you were all ready there papa.
Fantastic looking car and a awesome colour what more could you ask for 🤩 Jon is a very lucky guy to have such a good car passed down the family to him the fact he had to pay for it is neither here or there at that price, it's obvious he looks after it so it would be nice to think he will pass it on to his family when he no longer needs it 👌👍 John UK.
The clamps I would of shined them off with a simple turning grinder wheel, taken of the old grime and then spray them with clear to protect them from years of corrosion. Very simple and fast diy jobs projects.
Yup, literally just went through this on my 01 GsR Integra. Replaced my hoses with Mishimoto ones, used old clamps an what do you know, all 4 started dripping two days later. I knew I should've changed em, was just in a hurry so I could get yhe car back home for the weekend. Learned my lesson.
Did you flush the system before you hooked the new radiator up ? If there's any contamination in the system it will end up in the new radiator, and that's not good !
We didn't flush the cooling system at all since it was not contaminated. Also, with all aluminum engine and components, there's usually very low chance of internal contamination

Very fun and informative video. It was nice hearing from John and the history about the car. It's super mint man, glad you love the car.
I like Jons calm temperament. I tend to rage working on my car. Nice NSX.

That thing is NSX perfection
Cheers!!
Good work. That clamp tool is amazing.
Yes, that cool is a must have
Very good video thanks! Please which product did you spray on the new hoses to help the sliding in position?
Silicone spray
@@ahcgarage thanks for the confirmation
What a Lovely NSX.
Cheers!!

Damn my dream car with my favorite color. What a combo. Reminds me of when working on 911’s. Not fun.
It's a great platform
Great video! Thank you for posting it. Going to look at the color of my radiator!
Thanks for tuning in !!
Sweet nsx john, beautiful car and content.
Much appreciate it

Great idea!
Nice video and ride. Acura designers really dropped the ball on a cooling system on that car...Very inconvenient and a mess to service.
Custom HRE's?! Ballerrrrrrtt
Old School
Mike & Jon you're very much appreciated. Thank you!🇺🇸👍🏻
Thanks very much
Should've put new oem clamps. Those lose their squeeze after a few years. What a lovely nsx and story though. The greatest car from japan imho.

@@riverwarts9084 they're super cheap and I like them more than the screw ones because those look like shit Haha.
cool car, I have never had a mid/rear engine car. That would suck if one of those hose underneath sprung a leak in middle of the night.
That would sucks if it's a FWD vehicle, haha!!
A somewhat off the wall question... What kind of lift are you using? I really like the clean look and I have height issues with a 2 post lift.
No fender bumper protection covers?
Is there a link for that service mat? The oem ones or even the aftermarkets are hard to come by. Plan to work on my fathers nsx pretty soon.
A lot more than 9 coolant hoses on the NSX. More like 26 to 29 depending on year. Nice video regardless.
Honda Nsx Legend of Japan🇯🇵🇯🇵
Yes!!!
Timeless Beauty

where can i buy one of those service mats?
Sweet ride
Decent but Acura Logo looks heck of a lot better then the Honda logo on the NSX just way more classy lookin in my opinion.
So how many miles are on it now ?? 2022
Just over 100K miles
Does anyone happen to know the part number for the Nsx 92 rear hubs? grateful in advance 👍🏻😉
Hi Mike, what a nice car ,its been looked after. I love that hose clamp remover. I'm going to get one and use it one the wife...hahahaha
Haha!!!
Nice work!
I wonder why he didn't get an all aluminum radiator to eliminate the plastic end tanks all together.
We want to keep the vehicle with Oem components
paint society plugged this
Welcome!!
fucking beautiful car, shame they don't make them like this anymore :/
We have to preserve them
Brian brought me here; Obligatory Liked and Sub’d!! 👍 ▶️
Glad to have you. Welcome!!
I'm so mad that hose clamp tool exists?? I've been struggling unnecessarily for DECADES
