I had to delete my social media, seeing her with the new guy destroyed me. She never posted us as a profile picture, and we dated way longer. Word of advice, do not check their social media, I learned the hard way. I hope I never experience something like this ever again, might just stay single forever.

It’s worse when they treat that person better than you.. opened up to them and did things with them that they didn’t do with you.. I feel awful. I was with him for 9 years and were just 3 months shy from a year of the break up. So I guess it’s not that soon after,but he said he met her this year online and became friends so how soon after did he really move on,but maybe he moved on probably when we’re still together.
In my experience they never leave unless they have someone else lined up.

YES! I’m going through the same thing right now. I couldn’t even get an ounce of the respect he’s giving someone else. It was rough. It feels like a second betrayal but I know it isn’t so I try to shut those feelings out. But it’s still hard.

I’m just angry
This hits me hard. I moved on for 2 years and suddenly I saw him active on the app again when he was inactive for the past 2 years after we ended things. Except this time he specifically put that he is looking for a serious relationship when he was vague with me in the past. Also put down something I used to say to him and he noted that he is looking for someone who can do that. I felt slightly triggered knowing that he is looking for something that he found in me but now wanting it from someone else. I never exactly got the closure I wanted because he pretty much abruptly said that we shouldn't see each other again that last day and then he walked out of my place without even looking at me when I was sobbing. I handled the last 2 years with a lot of personal development and growth...but just a couple days ago, I feel like I'm thrown back to square 1. I'll be ok because I know it's not going to work out if he can just walk away like that and try to start fresh with someone else instead of working things out with me in the past.

We still live together after being broken up for almost a year, and he just started talking to someone. I really thought I was working through things and would be semi-okay, but everything was happening way too fast for me (and eventually they also realized for them too) and it just felt like reopening the wound. My ex and I broke up last year (February).. At the end of our relationship I was toxic and unsure of myself and he used to warn me because he was getting tired of being accused of some things he didn't deserve. And I knew that but I was really immature and always ended up apologizing do him. But what we had was so intense and he treated me so well... I was childish. One month later, on march, he was already with this other girl but he kept on texting me saying that he missed me and that what he had should have been different cause I was for sure the love of his life. We cheated on his girlfriend with me 3 times until the end of the year. And when his girlfriend found out, he was completely devastated, he couldnt stop calling and apologizing to her and he has been like that since the beginning of this year. I was a hopeless drug addict 4 years ago tell I met my ex I met my ex and we both fell madly in love with each other this person showed me what being loved is and it made me wanna change so I did I got sober I started taking care of my self and I got a job and went to school and the relationship was great the only thing we fought about is being a secret fast forward I ended up getting a house and a car and a 6 figure job I promise my ex i would never go back to what I was then he went to college and we became distant with each other we started seeing less of each other then finally he broke it off I did try to talk to him a few times but no luck I’ve tried to see other people but no one is him i know he started seeing someone it hurts but i really don’t care about that I would do anything to have him back unfortunately today I found out a sickness I had when I was a kid came back and now I probably need surgery and all I wish i had was my ex for comfort

We've all been there in the dark hole. Actually I still am. Me and my ex live in the same building. One month after we broke up I heard her entering her apt with a new guy. It was just shocking for me. Had to leave my apt for a few months because I couldn't stand the pain. Thought about moving out but I am back again thinking I couldn't let that bitch kick me out of my home. Still struggling though in there, it's not easy. We have no contact for over 6 months now.
