For rdr2 the default settings are probably the best, they give good battery and have good enough graphical clarity. You can get a frame and battery boost by using FSR but it makes the game blurry asf. This on an LCD steam deck though. So I suppose there is a little more wriggle room for the higher end model.
A new anti-cheat has appeared in Genshin Impact since May, which increases the CPU load and energy consumption. It doesn't seem to work for you. There is a solution on how to disable it on Reddit.
Could you explain more? I was looking it up but can’t seem to find what you mean. I’m also using the Anima game launcher for the installation and management of the game files, so maybe it’s automatically dealing with all of this.

Absolutely! Everything is always changing. The Steam Deck gets updates and improvements, and games either get easier or harder to run with updates. Currently, Genshin Impact still runs great on the Steam Deck-it’s amazing! :D
Yeah, I’ve got the FSR mod on Cyberpunk and it’s pretty great. However, this is more to show people what the device can do without the hassle of modding and tinkering.
@@Star.6739 I debated this fact with myself quite a bit, In the end I decided to pick up an Ally. I had a Nintendo Switch and I sold it because I simply wasn't using it as the game library wasn't to my taste, and I kinda feel as though I would be in the exact same situation with a steam deck. With the ROG Ally I can get 4 and a bit hours of gaming using a 12w profile, and the Variable Refresh Rate screen means that if it's under 60 but over 40 It's a super smooth experience. I'm sure the Deck has more longevity, but I figure having the ability to plug in and play a bunch of more demanding games, and have decent enough battery life to play some games on the move was probably the best option for me. The ROG Ally X obviously would be the best of both worlds, but I don't think a larger battery and 512gb extra storage is worth $400 extra.

If your willing to deal with windows and don't mind not having a cosel experience the Ally is legit but the steam deck is far more user friendly but also look into what games you want to play if they are mostly steam you are good to go. @@nophacetech Thanks for the reply. The Ally X is too expensive for the slight gains over the LeGo imo. I think I'm siding with the LeGo over the Deck simply because of power and extra games available. I'm not invested in Steam, only Xbox. Keep the good videos coming mate 👍

Some games look bad at native resolution for example rise of the tomb raider at any settings just looks bad on the steam deck oled at 800p I ran the game at 1200p medium settings 40fps and it looks way better than at native resolution

A 4-core processor is a type of processor that contains four central processing units, called cores, within a single physical unit... Take the lenovo go or the ally that have 8 cores..

Having fun playing god of war on deck OLED. But it does have that memory crash sometimes.

you should start using FSR 2/3 and Amd Framegen , if not native in game, then just install simple mod for more frames

@@ysonlineA lot of people have primary computers and use the deck for portability and will never go on a dock. Docks are separate purchases.
