I felt that Yuzu line lol. I cloned the SSD on my OG 64GB and upgraded to 1TB SSD just to keep Yuzu (and my ROMs of course).

No way in HELL would I ever recommend anyone to play Black Myth Wukong on Steam Deck. Runs like utter a**. I mean just look at your FPS Graph on the overlay? The input lag is disgusting lmao

Some of those fps are straight 🧢. Or ur using something not native. So that’s misleading

The SD Oled is limited to 90hz actual refresh rate and the LCD SD is limited to 60hz actual. If you really want to show this off you need to use an external display. But this does show you can get 90hz which is enough for either SD models.

Thanks for the list man. However, is Cyberpunk the only FPS game good enough for steam deck or can you also suggest some other shooters. I own LCD modem and sometimesI feel like steam deck is mostly suitable for 3rd person story games and not exactly FPS.

Native render scale performance is horrible in HellDivers! It takes my desktop 1660 super from 70FPS on quality render scale to > 20 FPS on native. And after 220 hours I can say for a fact that the graphical fidelity difference between the two is negligible. Would LOVE to see another performance benchmark outside of Native render for the Ally X

on steam deck just imagine watching a movie at 30fps while playing rdr2 at almost maxed settings. Since most movies are 24fps anyway this is a step up considering this on a hand held device.

I cannot believe you can run AAA games with high settings at 30FPS on a handheld. It's wild actually when you truly think about... Like some mid range gaming PCs would actually play worse

Thank you so much for this very detailed video! It helped me to make the decision to NOT buy the Ally X or any other handheld PC at this day and age. I think these devices are great for less demanding indie games but not so much for AAA Titles since we're just not really there yet. We will see what the Z2 will bring in the future especially with more advanced technologies like frame gen and DLSS.

can you download and play games from an external harddrive? Because if I get a Steamdeck, I know I won't be able to install a new SSD
