I Hope that Daisy and Yoshi will be appear in the next animated movie of super Mario and they will made the prequel of super Mario animated movie where Yoshi helped baby Mario to search baby Luigi. That would be great! I love animated and fantasy movie and star wars Is the only franchise that they alternate live action and cartoon :D

They wanted to depict Luigi as a clean-shaven teenaged heartthrob to make his story as a coming-of-age romance. The real problem here is that Mario is not a teenager like Luigi and Daisy, Jack Black would've fit that role for this version.
I don't get why they didn't call her peach instead of daisy. She's blonde and peach is the perfect role for her. I mean I guess its ok cuz mario looks 50 and she's burley 49 in this. The fact the flash did this to Supergirl to. Use the original name and stick it on a completely different supergirl from the comics
Because Peach at the time had the name Princess Toadstool outside of Japan. They didn’t use the name Peach until the late 90s with Yoshi’s Safari and Super Mario 64. Also Princess Daisy was introduced around that time so they based movie Daisy off of both princesses.
