She's kinda lucky she didn't find a cause that really triggered her sensibilities too much, we know what happens to Democrats who say too much.

There is a lot of silly stuff in that flick, but this is one of the least believable parts. She would have known all that stuff, or most of it, already, and was willing to overlook it before. In some ways the legal system isn't as bad as in this movie, but in many ways it's worse.
There was a court scene in the bloopers reel for this movie wherein Fletcher was arguing back and forth with another lawyer and she called him an over actor and everyone burst into laughter.

That was painful for the kids who loved their dad no matter what towards the end.

I love love love Jim Carrey. He puts so much character and effort into his performance. Out of all the movies I wouldnt expect this one to be my favorite but it is. Besides how hilarious the comedy it is, the comedy also speaks volumes on how being flimsy with your words should reek havoc onto your life. The honesty of it all is brutal but needed for humility. It's absolutely brilliant.

I love love love Jim Carrey. He puts so much character and effort into his performance. Out of all the movies I wouldnt expect this one to be my favorite but it is. Besides how hilarious the comedy it is, the comedy also speaks volumes on how being flimsy with your words should reek havoc onto your life. The honesty of it all is brutal but needed for humility. It's absolutely brilliant.
