the ZV-1 was the cheaper, The ZV-1 2 is just Slightly better but remember when ya shoot in 4K it will crop. It's compact yes but affordable no as one is $650 and the other $900 but again it depends on where ya stand for each one@@dwkvideos

I find GoPro is the best for Travel Vlogging, is small and easy to carry around all day plus it draws much less attention when in a higher theft area

I would just use my cellphone. Spend 200 on a wireless mic and 50 on a decent grip. I owned the older zv-1 and sold it right away because I realized my smartphone was better lol.

@@ccchoe3171 the neewer lavaliere mic is $80 on Amazon at the moment. The Ulanzi st-14 is a good phone mount and the manfrotto vlogging grip was $20 on Amazon. That's what I would use if I couldn't afford to go all out on a nice set up. Or if you aren't sure you want to commit. Hope this helps.
I listened to TH-camrs promoting this Sony zv 1...They are all telling lies..That camera is useless.The system is different to work out ...And the stabiliser on it doesn't work...I don't use it anymore 😭
@@ccchoe3171 the cheap Sony mic I forgot what is it called ecm or something. It's like 70 used on eBay. And the Sony grip. Around 80 and as well

Too dark, they really goofed this release up with the 4.5f instead of the 2.8 on Mk1. Too pricey for a downgrade. Perfect time for people interested to grab a used ZV1 Mk1 for $450

I think the Sony 7vE10 is better because it has interchangeable lenses
Źv1F costs less, has a fixed lens which was for me a better travel choice because I want as much back ground as possible and the Zv1 can try to open/extend the lens before completely removed from your pocket and damaging the zoom/focus gears. Ask me how I know this.

@@tnggoat not only am I experienced in stripping the gears on the Sony but also raming an extended lens from any camera into a door will have the same amazing ability to ruin a lens so always switch it to manual focus mode and de zoom the lens.
I have the v1 of this and it's a good camera, but the battery life is terrible.

i get that for some people (including me) the price is too high, but what did yall expect 💀Its a good quality camera and surprisingly cheap for good cameras. The price range for sony cameras is about 180-10000€ if not more. If you just want to take aesthetic pictures/videos its probably not even worth the money anyway
