I currently have the Ginseng one in my skincare rotation. I’ve used it for the 2nd time only but my oily & acne prone skin loves it! 🤩 hope it’ll do me good in the long run considering the frequent usage of mask these days plus the M’sian tropical heat 😂 thank you for the review btw!!

@@user-ok1fm4to1p i swapped the ginseng serum with the glow variant just to compare which I would like best. & i think i prefer the ginseng one over the glow serum cause i love the boost of hydration it gave me! But both helped in reducing maskne. Just a matter of preference!
I really love the Beauty of Joseon serums! I just got all 4 of the products and I can say after 3 days it really shows results. The serums immediately make my skin feel soft. They are thick but trust me. They work well. I would highly buy these again

Yup! I’m using the By Wishtrend 5% Mandelic Acid which is a pretty gentle and mild exfoliating toner (I recommend Mandelic Acid for sensitive skin!) and the Paula’s choice Anti-redness exfoliating solution with 2% Salicylic Acid and I only use it at night (so I alternate them every night). If I find that my skin is getting slightly dehydrated, I’ll use the Purito ABP Triple Synergy liquid instead which also contains AHA, BHA and PHA but it’s very very mild!

Thank you!! I do love some products from Elizavecca! But not all are great in my opinion. My favourite are the Hyaluronic Acid 100 and Centella Asiatica 100!

i think for first step is to calming and repair your skin barrier, use the calming one first and the repair, after all the acne and the scars has finally gone, you can change it to the glow serum one

Hmm I think calming serum might be more suitable for you if you have sensitive and easily irritated skin! I recommend the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA for starters because you can simply start really slow (you can start by using it just once a week) then build your tolerance (i.e increase frequency) from there, so you don’t need to spend money on multiple BHA products with different %. ☺️

Does anyone know how the company collects their snail mucin? I read that Beauty of Joseon is a cruelty-free brand but I've also heard that snails get shocked with small amounts of electricity to secrete the mucin faster.
During the process, snails are placed over a mesh net in a dark and quiet room, which is their favorite environment. For about 30 minutes, the snails are left alone to freely roam the net, leaving mucin in their trails. There is no external stress applied to the snails force for mucin production. After 30 minutes, the snails are transferred back to their homes to rest and regain energy while the mucin is collected and processed for cosmetic use. There is no external force used! Especially since I’ve heard snails can create toxins if they feel threatened which obviously we wouldn’t want to put on our skin :)

Hello! I think it depends on what you’re looking for as the 2 serums provide different benefits. The TO serum is more for reduction of sebum production hence reduction of excessive oils, while the calming serum is more to soothe and hydrate the skin. Since you have combination and easily irritated skin, I recommend the Calming serum instead as 10% of Niacinamide is quite high and might be unnecessary for you while the calming serum can help reduce inflammation. @@thatxxrin all whole package from toner serum and cream. I have normal skin but during quarantine my face have been breaking out and got many hyperpigmentation. I alwys use skincare and i’ve never skipped it. So i think mybe i have to try new skincare because my laneige hydro set has been not working well on my skin during this qurantine. Before quarantine my face very rare have pimple.
I’ve never tried the other products from Beauty Of Joseon but I would say that these serums are great if you have irritated or inflamed skin (i.e acne). For hyperpigmentation, Krave’s Kale Yalu yAHA will work quicker but it’s quite drying if you use it too often so you can definitely pair it with perhaps the calm serum from BOJ.

I didn’t think so. For acne marks I’d recommend AHA or Niacinamide or Vitamin A or Vitamin C! All of these tackles acne marks. 😊

Hello! Yes absolutely :) The ingredients are fairly simple hence will not clash with other skincare products!

Moisturizer should be used as your last step, so use the serum before. In the am, you should follow up with spf.☺️

Hello! Don't worry! It won't have any bad effects, but you may not be getting the full benefits of the serum as the moisturizer may form a barrier between your skin and the serum.

Try going for the glow serum for really tackle the dark spots with niacinamide. The propolis is great as well since it's an anti inflammatory ingredient because acne is inflammation in the skin.
yes, the repair serum and the glow serum are both great for your skin condition! The repair serum also has 2% of Niacinamide which is a key ingredients for dark spots. But other than that, the glow serum also have 2% Niacin. Both are great for you! I haven't tried it yet but seeing the ingredients, I'd definitely go for the repair one! My skin mostly has acne scars 🙆❤️

It’s light! The bottle is plastic that’s why. Hmm doesn’t smell like anything in my opinion. If it’s from Yesstyle it’s probably not fake 😆

Hi, sorry for a late reply. I am not a professional nor an expert but based on my knowledge, it is totally fine to use these serums! As you know, beauty of joseon serums are very lightweight and less acidic than other serums. Hmm but i think since your skin is sensitive, you can try the calming one first. However, it is better if you do a patch test first before using it, because everyone's skin is different! Hope this helps ❤️
