Sorry guys, the comments got turned off ON ITS OWN somehow not long after this video went live! It wasn't me of course as I always love all of your feedback! Please let me know your thoughts and any questions. Thanks guys! Sarangs 💚
Over the course of time, my face lost its glow, acquired dark spots and blemishes that appeared to multiply despite my efforts with various skincare routines. After extensive research, I finally got litttleextra rice berry face serum and began applying it beneath my sunscreen. Weeks passed, and the serum began to work its magic. The dark spots slowly faded away, revealing a smoother and more even-toned complexion. Apart from this, I began washing my face three times a day. Next, I started drinking about six glasses of water daily. I made an effort to eat less junk food, and began getting myself involved in physical activities to I could have a wonderful sweat on my face. All this worked, and I got a nice glow on my face.
Well done, you deserve a glowing skin 👏👏 The only thing I'd like to tell you is probably not to continue washing your face 3 times a day as that may dehydrate your skin if you continue doing that in the long run. I would suggest just 2 times - 1 in the morning and 1 at night. Otherwise you're doing a fab job 🙂 I've done a detailed video on face cleansing, will leave its link here in case you're interested th-cam.com/video/KgH3sNqkWo0/w-d-xo.html
This is an amazing vitamin c serum; it enhances glowing the face, appearance, blemishes, dark circles, skin tone, aging, blackheads, sun exposure. It is truly awesome. A perfect score of 10 to the riceberry vitamin c serum from my side.
Hello! I just came across your channel and have learned so much in the past two days. In all honesty I haven’t done much for my face since the pandemic and as I’m turning 40 this month I think it’s time I start leaving some time and pampering myself again. Will watch all your videos and take some notes. 😊
Thank you so much for categorizing vit C into different levels! This category is so useful for me. ❤ I wish i could have watched this video earlier !🥹 I start pure vitamin C in high concentration , which makes my skin sensitive now 😮💨 I finally understand why it happens, thank you so much for your detailed explanation! ❤ I will definitely start with a beginner dosage again. Also, will you consider making similar video for retinols too? Really love your analysis on the level strength ❤
I really like how you lay out your content. It makes it easy to understand. I’m going to try out the Numbuzin mainly for the tranexamic acid. I’m trying to fade some stubborn age spots which vitamin c hasn’t been successful at fading. I’ve been using the Cosrx 23% C serum for over a year and I really like it. I’ve finally started using it daily and couple weeks ago after only using it 3x/week. Actually it was mainly because I was experimenting with Medicube’s vita c ampoule which I only dislike because the dropper on the bottle is so dysfunctional. It has a hard time sucking up the product and it gets frustrating. I do like that it comes in smaller bottles so you don’t have to worry about the product oxidating before you use it up. Another vitamin c serum that I enjoyed in the past was by Missha. One that I want to try in the future is the 107 Soseo Vinbiome Vitamin C serum. It’s pricey at $72 but it’s on sale currently (April 4, 2024) for $36 so I’m really tempted on purchasing it.
Hiya, thank you so much for liking this video. I'm glad that you found it easy to understand 🙂 If you've been using Cosrx 23% serum for over a year your skin must be taking it like water now! My friend, you're at a super advanced level of vit C! My skin is very sensitive so I take it easy with Vit C by using the high percentage one a couple of times a week. I don't quite understand why that serum - 107 Soseo Vinbiome Vitamin C serum is so pricey? Is it cuz of the prestigious black vinegar..? Not sure, you made me more curious now. Let me know if you do get to try it!
@@oneeyebeauty I just got the 107 Chaga Jelly cleanser and I really love how gentle and light feeling it is. I’m curious about their vitamin C and also their shampoo which all contain their aged vinegar. I found out about the brand from EuniUnni and SooBeauty a while back. Then the other day, food influencer Seonkyoung Longest promoted the collagen jelly supplement by 107 and now I want it ALL 😆
@@manonsinclairladyofblairad9675 Vit C combined with Vit E and Ferulic acid is actually the best one. That Timeless serum is pricey for a good reason. This video is about budget Vit C serums for all levels so these are good options too of course 🙂 One day I'll try to do a video showing luxurious lines like your serum!
@@oneeyebeauty it's pricey but it's at the right PH to be effective. There's a 20% strength and I tried it but it's too much for my skin. I'll stick with the 10%. 😊
@@manonsinclairladyofblairad9675ive been using the timeless vitamin c 20% for a month and its not that crazy for hyperpigmentation. So in a way i just dont see any reason to look for derivatives at this point.l cause i know they will be mediocre.
I just find you looking for the best Vitamine C serum and I was thrilled to finally understand what they are, what are they good for and how you should go about choosing the vitamine C serum, Such a comprehensive video, I am so happy I discovered you. I am egger to apply what I've learn from you
Thank you very much. So glad to hear that I was able to help. Let me know if you get to try any of these Vit C serums. They made a huge difference on my skin 🙂
I can absolutely vouch for the Vegreen Intensive Vitamin C Ampoule warning effect. It feels soooooo amazing on the skin during winter, I just want to keep applying it every second of the day 😭 As a high percentage retinol user, I do alternate between vitamin C and retinol in my night routine. Seeing as I'm at high percentage Vit C serum already, I hope I won't need to move on to the last one in the near future 🥲 One question: how do you know your vitamin C serum has gone bad/oxidised? In case the serum stays with me more than 8 weeks😅
Hi Ju, I love the Vegreen Vit C ampoule as well. Even though it's high strength, not too harsh on my sensitive skin 💛 The answer to your question would be.. sometimes it's obvious as the serum will change its colour. In most cases you won't see or feel any difference unfortunately so you won't really know. That's why I advise you to use the bottle quickly. Treat your skin with loads of Vit C everytime 🙂
Put your vitamin c in the little dark bottle which you can use on daily basis and in fridge ,also you can use with pycnogenol , make your own research and you can find super easy way to keep your vitamin c fresh.. sorry for my bad English , greetings from Greece❤
I recently discovered your channel (and you!) and I adore watching you, you are lovely and I learn so much :) Many thanks I have been trying to cycle one day using L absorbic acid and one with a derivative - perfect timing! Thank you for your thoroughness and truly genuine personality !!!
Everyone's skin is different so I can't recommend just one product. Both are very gentle suitable for beginners, so I would say try both and see which works for you. :)
I desperately want Goodal to come out with a version of that serum that doesn't have any of those essential oils. I've heard so many good things about the formula but my skin would be irritated in no time with all those volatile compounds!
Hi John, Goodal serum can be a bit irritating on the skin I do mention that in the video. You're right it could possibly be due to the essential oils in it. Have you tried anything else? The Lanbelle serum shown in this video and Beauty of Joseon Vita C serum are both very gentle on sensitive skin 🙂
Omg after watching your channel only realised ive jumped straight to the MOST “advanced” vitamin C - cosrx c23 🤣 but surprisingly it doesn’t irritate my skin at all, soothing. Maybe because i use it alternately with retinol every other day. Question please, after using higher percentage of vitamin C isit good to jump back to lower percentage or the skin already accustomed to higher percentage and switching to lower one will not be really effective?
Thank you so much for your very informative videos. I’ve been watching your videos, and you are the reason why I got into Korean skin care and started to buy loads of stuff from Stylevana.
Subscribers like you are the reason why I'm able to continue doing this. Thank you so much for enjoying my videos and your super kind words! Glad to hear that I was able to help 🙂 Hope you got loads of nice stuff from SV 😁 Let's keep glowing together my lovely
Thank you for this video on vitamin c options. I am currently using Numbuzin - No.5+ Vitamin Concentrated Serum without any results. Can I use Vitamin C and Axis Y Dark Spot Serum together? Your videos are outstanding, and I look forward to each one. Have a great week!!
Hi Anita, sorry about my late reply and thank you so much for your encouraging words. The main ingredients in No.5+ serum are niacinamide and tranexamic acid. It is good to try different products to find out what works for you. Maybe you can try a pure vitamin C serum or a Vit C serum with a high percentage of Vit C derivatives like Goodal green tangerine serum? I don't see any conflicting ingredients in Axis Y dark spot serum so I don't see why you can't use them together. Maybe will double the brightening effect! If you do get to try that for some time let me know the result! 🙂💚
Amazing content! ❤ Was wondering how long should beginner Vitamin C users move on to the next level or is there a guidline when to move to the higher level? Thank you so much!
Thank you for posting!! I appreciate your knowledge and recommendations! I bought the numbuzin spf 50 that you recommended for a longer lasting sunscreen, and I have to say….im shocked!! Thank you! So now, next question for you, what do you recommend for under eye wrinkles ? I feel like I’ve tried every eye cream out there with no luck...
Hiya, glad to hear that you're enjoying the sunscreen that I recommended. I'll soon be doing a video on eye creams so stay tuned for that. In mean time if you like, you can check a couple of my eye cream reviews in these videos th-cam.com/video/va_UqpboiH4/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/_Mcf3PCFYnM/w-d-xo.html
Hiya, thanks for liking the video! The other one I can recommend is probably the Vegreen serum which I've shown in this video but I have not noticed any smell from both Vegreen or Cosrx! So I'm not sure if you might notice a smell (that I didn't catch) from the Vegreen serum as well. I think all Vit C serums have a hint of a vitamin smell so it will be hard to avoid..? Try Vegreen I think it's very close to scentless 🙂
Hiya, sorry about my late reply. Body care is not my speciality, however, I did recently have a chance to review some of the best-selling Korean body care products so will try to do a video on it for you hopefully soon 🙂

If I’m looking for Korean skincare products & vitamin c & she has some stubborn sunspots which do you recommend she use? My mom is over 60 & also has some changes with the texture of her skin. Some of her main concerns her hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, small bumpy texture on cheeks, & loss of elasticity. Any tips or product suggestions would be very much appreciated. I also got her prescription tretinoin to start using in conjunction but any help would be much appreciated cause there are so many skincare products out there. I was thinking of getting the goodal one due to popularity but what your input on its effectiveness due to her spots being more stubborn.
Hiya, stubborn sunspots can only be removed by a dermatology treatment to be really honest with you. But vit C serums will help to fade and even out her skin tone. I have a skincare ingredient glossary on my website where you can click through different skin concerns to find out the best ingredients and products for your skin. Your mum might find this helpful here oneeyebeauty.com/ingredientsforyou/
Oh thank you so much and welcome new subbie! I feel very flattered 😁 I upload a long-form video every week and short form as well occassionally related to skincare tips and Korean skincare product reviews. Hope you will keep enjoying them! See you again my friend! Let's glow together 💚
I love your videos and I have just subscribed to your channel. May I ask a silly question? It is said that Niacinamide and Vitamin C cannot be mixed together. After using Niacinamide, one should wait for 10 minutes before applying Vitamin C. May I know why these two ingredients can coexist in the products you have mentioned? Thank you so much.
Hiya, sorry about my late reply. I'm not an expert but I believe that Niacinamide and Vit C work well together giving a synergetic effect. They may cause a problem when mixed in a high heat temperature but this is rarerly the case in most people's environments. I've been using Niacinamide and Vit C in my routine for a long time. They are my absolute holy grail ingredients. Hope this helps :)
What do you recommend for people who cannot tolerate vitamin c at even low percentage? And do you recommend any galactomyces filterate without vitamin c ?
Hiya, that would depend on what your skincare goal is but I would rcommend a niacinamide as it has multiple skin benefits including what Vit C can do such as skin brightening and anti-aging or even rice or tranexamic acid as these help with skin brightening and improving signs of aging. Numbuzin no.5 serum shown in this video contains a good amount of Niacinamide + TA and only a small amount of Ascorbic Acid (Vit C) so I would recommend that one for you. Yes you could use Galactomyces instead as well as that helps to fade away dark spots 🙂
Hi! Really interesting video, thank you! I’ve been using the klairs serum but it never stang or irritated my skin luckily, does that mean that I can try one with a higher % of vitamin c? Thank you ☺️
I think the ones with a high percentage of Vit C can be a bit dry on the skin. If you don't want that, you can go for the options I've shown in the beginners to intermediate levels :)
Hello! Love the video! Is it a good idea to use Goodal's vitamin c serum and Numbuzin no 5 concentrated serum in the same skincare routine? If so, which of the two is better to layer on top of? Thank you!!!
Hiya, I don't see why you can't do that as Goodal vitamin C serum is packed with Vit C derivatives and even though Numbuzin contains pure Vit C it is only a small amount. Numbuzin is more close to Niacinamide & tranexamic acid serum so those 2 combos sound great to me. If I were you, I would use the Goodal one first as its texture is quite thick and layer the watery Numbuzin serum on top of it to wrap the skin with hydration. Enjoy your 2 amazing serums. Let me know how you go 🙂
Ahh yes! TIA'M Vitamin C24 Surprise Serum with 22% pure Vitamin C and 2% Vitamin C derivative! Thanks for letting me know I'm going to look into the full ingredient of this. So have you tried it? 🙂
If you have troubled skin I wouldn’t recommend a vitamin c serum as this is for maintaining healthy skin or rejuvenating dull skin as mentioned in the video. I would suggest you to download my free pdf guide TOP 3 skin care ingredients for your skin concerns here 👉 gift.oneeyebeauty.com/top3_ingredients Hope this helps
Hello! I really like your videos as it helped me in my skincare routine. I am 18 years old with normal clear skin and i want to use vitamin c serum , and i already used 15 % ethyl Ascorbic Acid , so please suggest a vitamin c serum for brightening skin ...
Hi my lovely, I think you can move up to pure vit C, ascorbic acid (with the Ethyl) so I would recommend the products I've mentioned for the advanced level in this video.
I have and absolutely love the Numbuzin Vitamin Concentrate I use along with 15% Vitamin C EFG from the Inkey List but I'm interested in trying something stronger maybe the Some By Me one or Cos Rx
All of these shown in the vid, so you can choose according to your level. Plus I show more in my latest mid-year 2024 best product picks video here th-cam.com/video/wMLNJj7OOmc/w-d-xo.html
Just wondering which serum I should try? I’m 53 skin concerns hyperpigmentation. I tried BOJ glow deep serum rice + alpha-arbutin & skin1004 tone brightening capsule ampoule, both not worked well. Need your recommendations please ❤
Hi Chris, for hyperpigmentation I would highly recommend you use a Vitamin C serum. It sounds like that you haven't tried the pure Vit C yet, so start with the beginner recommendations that I've shown here. I would recommend something with quite high percentage of Vit C dericatives like Goodal for you. If that works well then move up to Some by mi, Dear Klairs, Vegreen and so on. If you have very dark spots I'm afraid that no serums will remove those. You would need to see a dermatologist for that, but using a Vit C serum consistently should help to fade those out and achieve an even skin tone. Hope this helps 🙂
Thank you for the video. I'm a little confuse. Many success to use Vitamin C to help with the sunlight and everything in the morning. But here you said it doesn't go well with sunlight and such. Does it mean if I do use retinol then I can use Vitamin C in the morning? I don't use retinol and I just want to bright up my skin tone. I don't know what happen I'm not sure it is bec of the Corx Snail cream. After I use it, my family and my skin have become so dark even when we don't even go out much.
Hiya, Vit C can degrade when exposed to sunlight so you need to apply sunscreen if you use it in the morning. In that case, yes you can use retinol at night, and vit C in the morning. If you're interested in brightening your skin tone, I have a free pdf gift which you can download to check out my top 3 ingredient suggestions for your skin concerns. I think you might find this helpful gift.oneeyebeauty.com/top3_ingredients I also have a skincare ingredients glossary on my website where you can click through different skin concerns to find your best matching ingredient here oneeyebeauty.com/ingredientsforyou/ Hope you will find these helpful 🙂
Can I use the ordinary vitamin c serum (ascorbic acid 8 + alpha arbutin 2 serum) with anua niacinamide 10% serum together at the same time? Or which vitamin c serum I can use with anua niacinamide 10% serum together at the same time? I have hyperpigmentation and dark spots problem and my skin type is oily.
Hi my lovely, those can be used together. I have recommended a couple of good products for dark spots in this video here. Watch from 8:18 🙂 th-cam.com/video/mOEi0P2R92k/w-d-xo.html
Hiya, if you have a troubled skin with acne, I would suggest you to not use vit C serum as vit C serum is more for maintaining healthy skin. I would suggest you to take a look at my FREE guide, TOP 3 skin care ingredients for your skin concerns to find the best ingredients and products for your skin here 👉 gift.oneeyebeauty.com/top3_ingredients
Hi , i am planning to get a good vitamin c serum for my troubled face ..currently i am facing redness and stubborn acne, i have previous acne marks and hyperpigmentation from acne marks and my concern is to fade those marks and make my skin clearer and also not try to irritate my skin as in gets easily irritated ...i hv the option of buying goodal, numbuzin no 5+, jumiso vit c and axis y spot correcting . Which one you would suggest i should go with for targeting my dark spots without irritating the skin...it will be of great help. Waiting eagerly for your reply...loved your video
Hiya, sorry about my late reply. Before I give you any advice, I'd like to let you know that I'm not an expert. However as a skincare content creator who researches and studies a lot, in my opinion I don't think vit C serum is an answer for you. Vit C is more for maintaining healthy skin or revitalizing dull skin rather than healing or improving troubled skin. I think for you the priority should be strengthening your skin barrier so use creams with Ceramide + cholestrol + fatty acid such as P calm cato cream or Aestura ato barrier cream. I've shown the Aestura cream in this video here th-cam.com/video/nSBKhsy0M1E/w-d-xo.html For hyperpigmentation Axis Y dark spot serum is a gentle one with arbutin so that should be ok for you. On my website, I have an ingredients glossary where you can click through your skin concerns to find the right products and ingredients for your skin here 👉 oneeyebeauty.com/ingredientsforyou I also have a free downloadable pdf gift - TOP 3 skin care ingredients for your skin concerns here 👉 gift.oneeyebeauty.com/top3_ingredients Hope you will find these helpful :)
@oneeyebeauty i have already ordered skin1004 centella ampule and centella soothing cream...for the barrier repair. I am confused between numbuzin no5+ and axis y ...as numbuzin no5+ has tranexamic acid and niacinamide which works on pigmentation and scars...my only concern is if numbuzin no 5+ is gentle or not , is it going to irritate the skin or is it gentle. Kindly reply ... Thankyou for your response it means a lot
You can use both! I use both in my routine, but if you want to use only one, I would suggest you to use niacinamide in the morning and vitamin C at night. Vitamin C can lose its potency in sunlight, so using it in the evening will help maximize its benefits. 🙂
Hiya, yes you can as it contains Vit C derivative which is more gentle on the skin. In the morning, just make sure to apply sunscreen on top as Vit C can lose its ability when exposed to sunlight.
I don't know much about Kiehls Vit C serum so can't really answer to this I'm afraid. Goodal is a good vit C serum for beginners so it's not that hugely effective in my opinion. It's still a good gentle Vit C serum.
Hello, have you tried the Purito vitamin c I just wanna know if its effective? I've read some good reviews online but I'm still skeptical and I don't wanna waste my money on a bad product
Hiya, no I haven't yet so I can't say much about that product I'm afraid. It contains 5% pure vit C so it should be ok if you've been using vit C serum already.
I have sensitive and oily skin is it safe to choose Cosrx vita C? Please suggest me which vitamin C or serum would work the best for pigmentation and dark spots.
All of these will help. The higher the better, but as mentioned in the video your skin needs to be accustomed first to Vit C. So slowly increase the percentage
i was using the nambusin serum 5 morning and night then noticed a week after using made my face itch. Is my face reacting to vit c? sad i really liked it. can i add a bit of moisturizer with the serum
Have you ever used vitamin c serum before?? I am currently using the klairs vitamin c serum with klairs vitamin e mask to make sure the vitamin c doesn't irritate my eczema skin
Hiya, I'm sorry to hear this and very surprised at the same time as Numbuzin No.5 serum is an extremely gentle serum with a very low percentage of pure Vit C. Could it possibly be Niacinamide that your skin is reacting to..? Maybe try taking a break from it a few days then go back to it..? If your skin still dislike it, may be try Jumiso or Some by mi serum shown in this vid. They are also very gentle 🙂
Hello mam .Iam 17 years old girl with oily acne prone skin and new to skincare.can you please suggest best vitamin c and 5%niacinamide for me.I have tiny bumps too
Numbuzin no.5+ serum shown in this video has Niacinamide + Tranexemic acid with only a small amount of Ascorbic acid so I think this would be suitable for you. Hope this helps :)
since the beauty of joseon light On Serum Centella + Vita C has a Vit C derivative - would you consider it as a beginner friendly alternative? I already have it in my stash (it was a very nice gift) but so far I'm slightly scared of it :)
YES! Definitely! I love that serum too. That would be a good choice for beginners and for those who want something for skin brightening and soothing at the same time 🙂
Basically once the Vit C serum bottle is open and exposed to air, it will begin to oxidize, which can reduce its effectiveness over time. So I'm suggesting for you to use and finish one bottle within 4-6 weeks 🙂
Hello, sister Ur Video is good, i like ur videos,, 🥰... It sorrow that, My face is dark from my fair body,😢 now suggest a good whiting cream or serum for me...😊

Hiya, this is very hard to answer I'm afraid as everyone is different. Both are one of the most gentle Vit C serums, and works different for everyone so I would actually advise you to try both and see which works better for you. They are both really affordable especially on Stylevana, they have sales on all the time :)
I'm using Retinol, arbutin, kojic acid moisturiser at night so is that possible to use vitamin C derivative in morning as I alternate my Salicylic acid exfoliating (2 times per week) and Retinol (3 - 4 times per week ) at night.. As we cannot use pure/active vitamin c while having active acne, is that OK to use milder version like BOJ or Iunik propolis vitamin serum?
Hiya, first of all I've got to tell you that I'm not a skin specialist. However from what I know of, I can tell you that vit C serums are more for maintaining healthy skin or revitalizing and brightening dull skin. It can irritate troubled skin so I would suggest you to refrain from using Vit C and focuse on soothing and strengthening your skin. I have a free pdf document suggesting my top 3 ingredients and products to tackle your skin concerns. Hiya, all of the products in this video should help so I'd advise you to follow the steps from beginners to advanced in here. Remember, skincare products cannot remove any dark spots or melasma completely but they should help to fade them. Let me know if you get to try any of these products in the video 🙂
Hello sister 🤗, I'm 16 years old and my skin is normal type but I'm confused which one should i go with..will you please recommended me? Also can i use jumiso vitamin C serum if possible?
Hi Emily, sorry about my late reply. For young skin, I don't think vit C is necessary but if you want to try it, I think Jumiso would be a good one to start as it contains a small amount of pure vit C. Also the ones with Vit C derivatives like Lanbelle should be good too 🙂
I don’t see why not tbh..? Snail mucin is usually gentle on the skin, and the goodal vit c can be irritating in the beginning if your skin isn’t used to vit c derivatives yet. I’d use the snail followed after to give an extra hydration but before should be ok too if you’re using it as an essence. Hope this helps 🙂
Do you mean the skin1004 centella ampoule? They are both skin brightening serums so I would use one or the other. Try both at different times and stick with the one that works better for your skin :)
Hiya, I don't know this product very well but looking at it briefly it says that it contains 15% ascorbic acid which is a pure vit C so I would say that this is suitable for those at the advanced level of Vit C.
YES definately. Vit C would be a game changer, and I would highly recommend you to also use retinol as well. If you haven't started yet, The ordinary has wide range of retinol serums that you can choose from 🙂
It does have an oily texture. I find most Vit C serums with high percentage of pure vit C tend to be oily. If you dislike that, I suggest you go with a lower % option that I've recommended in this video for beginner to intermediate levels. They are less effective but will be more watery and less sticky
Hiya, personally didn't have any problem with SV but I did hear from others that they recently had some issues with late deliveries. Haven't heard about the lost parcels though. I think their deliveries got piled up a bit at the end of last year but they are being fixed so any orders you put in now should be ok..? 🙂
@@oneeyebeauty thanks dear, I was hoping to get your advice on a skincare issue. I am 53 years old and I have been trying to find a serum that will help with my hyperpigmentation. I’ve tried a couple of products - BOJ Glow Deep Serum Rice + Alpha-Arbutin and Skin1004 Tone brightening Capsule Ampoule but neither of them seemed to work well for me. Could you please recommend a good cleanser, toner/essence, eye cream and moisturiser? Thanks in advance ❤️❤️❤️
Hi my lovely, sorry for my late reply. Assuming that you watched this video, I can tell you that you picked a perfect one for teen skincare! I highly recommend adding vitamin C to your routine as it’s highly antioxidant that helps fade dark spots as well. If you have sensitive skin, start with a beginner-friendly option with vitamin C derivatives, like the ones I showed from Lanbelle or Jumiso. These are gentle and effective for newcomers to vitamin C or those with sensitive skin. Let me know how you go 🙂
I just had a look at it, and it features both pure vitamin C and vitamin C derivatives which I love! I'll try to add this to my next shopping basket to review. Thanks for your request 💚
Hiya, have you got a lot of breakouts? In that case I wouldn't use vit c as vit c is more for maintaining a healthy skin or adding vitality to a dull skin without breakouts. I would recommend a niacinamide or a propolis serum for you.
Hi Lindsay, thank you very much for keeping up with my videos. It really means huge to me! Yes there're many Vit C serums, so if you follow my advice in this video it should help you to choose the right one for your level. Are you a beginner, intermediate or advanced? 🙂
I Don't have any acne marks. All I have is hyper pigmentation and dullness and my skin is getting darker day by day😭.So could you please suggest me a beginner friendly vitamin c serum please🥹❤️
Hiya, I'm sorry to hear that. Vit C will be a great choice to boost radiance on your skin. If you watch the video I introduce Vit C serums for all different levels including beginner-friendly ones like Jumiso or Lanbelle 🙂
Hiya, yes numbuzin only has a small amount of pure Vit C so is suitable for the beginners. You can try other ones that I suggested for beginners in this vid as well.
Hello ma'am my face was very dull and pigmented i am follow melasma treatment melasure gel tyrodin cream and ordinary 0.5% retinol but no effects on my face and my face was very dull so plz ma'am give me your advise plz
Hiya, to prevent dull skin, there os nothing better than Vitamin C serum in my opinion unless you have breakouts and troubled skin. If you haven’t tried yet, why don’t you start with the beginners’ options that I’ve suggested in this video? 🙂
Which serum is there to brighten the complexion plz suggest me i am very upset ma'am plz suggest night time skincare rutine and morning skin care rutine
Hiya, sorry about my late reply. I haven't tried this product, but it says it has 20% pure vit c, so I think it would suit those with an advanced level of vit C.
Hi YuHee, Karla,62 stopping in after watching a few of your videos and loving them. I just received the Benton 20% Vit. C serum. With no water in the formula. It does come in an airtight pump bottle. I used it the 1st time yesterday am. And I loved it. It’s a white cream, yet when applied to face it turns clear, yet spreads nicely and absorbs fairly quickly. Would you mind doing a review of this one? Thank you YuHee. Just subscribed to your channel. I use mostly K beauty.
Hi Karla, thank you and welcome new subbie! You just sold me that Vit C serum well there..! I'll look into it and see if I can review it in my future videos. Keep an eye on my shorts as well as I do single product review via shorts videos. See you again 🙂
Hi! Thank you for the video. I would like to ask what do you think about the stable vitamin C derivative in Skin1004 tone brightening capsule ampoule. It's an interesting combination with other ingredients for hyperpigmentation similar to Numbuzin 5+ 😁
You might want to research on what vitamin c derivatives has more promising research and results rather than going with the hype. Cause not all "vitamin c" derivatives will be close to what L ascorbic can offer.
Hiya, I haven't tried that ampoule yet, but looking at its ingredient list I think you're right as it does sound similar to Numbuzin no5+. :) To me this sounds more like a Niacinamide & Tranexamic Acid serum. Both of these are great ingredients for improving hyperpigmentation however I can't see the percentage of these ingredients in that ampoule so can't really say whether it will be better than Numbuzin one. It does contain Centella Asiatica as well though, so if you have sensitive skin, this might be a good option for you :)
Hi my lovely, sorry I don't introduce myself in every video, but I always introduce my channel as the place to find out all the K-beauty info in one eye 🙂 Sharing the most recent video that I explain about myself here th-cam.com/video/mOEi0P2R92k/w-d-xo.html
Hi Elizabeth, yes if your skin isn't troubled with blemishes and is used to vitamin C. Have you tried Vit C serums with lower % of pure vit C yet? Get used to it first then you can move up to over 20% 🙂
Hiya, I have reviewed the black rice toner and the cream in these videos here. th-cam.com/video/bdKSkrDC_Go/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/AeDoTqSdUwk/w-d-xo.html I think the unscented versions are not bad. Yes, you heard me there.. not bad. (I am way too honest with my product reviews 😂)
I haven't tried it I'm afraid. Seeing its ingredient list, it sounds like a serum for advanced levels as it contains over 20% pure vitamin C + vit C derivatives. I would only recommend this one if your skin is accustomed to Vit C. Hope this helps
@@oneeyebeauty I thought it has only vitamin c derivate I have used klairs vitamin c before but it doesn't do much so I am confused between cosrx or innisfree..
I have sensitive and oily skin.. will it be safe for me to choose Cosrx? Please suggest one good vitamin C and serum for pigmentation and acne dark spots. Thank you.
Sorry guys, the comments got turned off ON ITS OWN somehow not long after this video went live! It wasn't me of course as I always love all of your feedback! Please let me know your thoughts and any questions. Thanks guys! Sarangs 💚
Please tell me which vitamins C serum best for glow skin bright skin plzzz tell me ( normal-dry skin)
I really haven't tried any K Beauty vitamin C Serums. Geek and Gorgeous C Glow is my holy grail.
The best product is what works for your skin 🙂
This one is THE GOAT ✨🥺
Hello! I just came across your channel and have learned so much in the past two days. In all honesty I haven’t done much for my face since the pandemic and as I’m turning 40 this month I think it’s time I start leaving some time and pampering myself again. Will watch all your videos and take some notes. 😊
Hiya, happy big birthday soon! I'm glad to hear that my content has been helpful to you. Welcome to the club 🙂💚
Thank you so much for categorizing vit C into different levels! This category is so useful for me. ❤
I wish i could have watched this video earlier !🥹
I start pure vitamin C in high concentration , which makes my skin sensitive now 😮💨
I finally understand why it happens, thank you so much for your detailed explanation! ❤ I will definitely start with a beginner dosage again.
Also, will you consider making similar video for retinols too? Really love your analysis on the level strength ❤
I will try to do the retinol video for you in the new year. Thanks so much for leaving a kind comment, so glad that I was able to help 💚
Vitamin C helps your sunscreen work better. Great reason to use it in the morning!
Then the other day, food influencer Seonkyoung Longest promoted the collagen jelly supplement by 107 and now I want it ALL 😆
My favorite TH-camr! I absolutely loved this video! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much Diane my absolute fav subbie 💚

Hi, I use the Timeless 10% vitamin C in the morning. When I finish that bottle, I'll try the 14% serum.
Thank you for this great video!
That is a really good high-end Vit C serum. I would love to try that one as well. Maybe we can swap! 😆
@@oneeyebeauty 😅
It's important to use Vitamin C in the morning. It helps to make your SPF more effective.
Hmmm I’m not sure about this tbh? Can you explain further..? 🙂
Isnt Vitamin C supposed to be used at night as it makes the skin more sensitive?

Seeing as I'm at high percentage Vit C serum already, I hope I won't need to move on to the last one in the near future 🥲
One question: how do you know your vitamin C serum has gone bad/oxidised?

Love that video , it help to choose also a lot of information that other don't say. .Thanks
You're very welcome 💚
Hi my friend , you should try vitamin c from Geek and Gorgeous its very good for my dry and sensitive skin ❤
Hiya, yes I have heard great stuff about that Vit C serum! My skin is dry and sensitive too so very tempted. Thanks for recommending 💚
Which one should use for hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone like skin tan like 1 2 shade . Goddal or numbuzin
Your skin must be highly resistant! If you had no irritation with pure Vit C, stick with it as it’s most effective 🙂 No need to go back in my opinion.
Thank you so much so helpful 🙏🙏🙏
No problem, hope you have gained some good info 🙂

Thanks so much for the follow up, I really appreciate it. You are the best!!@@oneeyebeauty
Amazing content! ❤ Was wondering how long should beginner Vitamin C users move on to the next level or is there a guidline when to move to the higher level? Thank you so much!
After you finish one bottle, move to the next. Simple 🙂 So it would be around 3-6 weeks I say
Thank you for posting!! I appreciate your knowledge and recommendations! I bought the numbuzin spf 50 that you recommended for a longer lasting sunscreen, and I have to say….im shocked!! Thank you! Can i use the jumiso with retinal ?
Pls do a video about propolis vs snail
Propolis VS snail?? I never thought of combining those 2 how interesting. Can I ask why you picked those 2..?
Hi! Really interesting video, thank you! I’ve been using the klairs serum but it never stang or irritated my skin luckily, does that mean that I can try one with a higher % of vitamin c? Thank you ☺️
Thank you for liking the video! My answer to your question is YES 🙂

This video which serum is best for normal-dry skin?

I am looking for a vitamin c serum to fade acne spots and even my skin tone, but I already have niacinamide in my routine, which one should I use?
You can use both! I use both in my routine, but if you want to use only one, I would suggest you to use niacinamide in the morning and vitamin C at night. Vitamin C can lose its potency in sunlight, so using it in the evening will help maximize its benefits. 🙂
Can i use goodal Green Tangerine Vita C both morning and evening?
Hiya, yes you can as it contains Vit C derivative which is more gentle on the skin. In the morning, just make sure to apply sunscreen on top as Vit C can lose its ability when exposed to sunlight.
Which vitamin c is best keihls or goodal for hyperpigmentation
The vitamin c in Numbuzin no. 5 concentrate serum is negligible.
Really? What is the percentage? But it has vit C derivatives too right?
Is it beginner's friendly?
Hi my lovely, yes of crs. Check out the ones I’ve introduced in the video for the beginners that contain vitamin C derivatives 🙂

All of these will help. The higher the better, but as mentioned in the video your skin needs to be accustomed first to Vit C. So slowly increase the percentage
Okay will do as you say. Thank you so much. Your comment will be really helpful 🤗

Hiya, I'm sorry to hear this and very surprised at the same time as Numbuzin No.5 serum is an extremely gentle serum with a very low percentage of pure Vit C. Could it possibly be Niacinamide that your skin is reacting to..? Maybe try taking a break from it a few days then go back to it..? since the beauty of joseon light On Serum Centella + Vita C has a Vit C derivative - would you consider it as a beginner friendly alternative? I already have it in my stash (it was a very nice gift) but so far I'm slightly scared of it :)
YES! Definitely! I love that serum too. That would be a good choice for beginners and for those who want something for skin brightening and soothing at the same time 🙂
I don't understand when you're saying at 12:48, the effective is not lasting? Thanks
Basically once the Vit C serum bottle is open and exposed to air, it will begin to oxidize, which can reduce its effectiveness over time. So I'm suggesting for you to use and finish one bottle within 4-6 weeks 🙂
@@oneeyebeauty I understand!!! For me a bottle of 30 ml last 3 months 😯Thank you so much for your reply! 감사합니다!🙏🤗
Hi Yuhee, I came across this Vitamin C serum from Dr Althea but idk if it’s good. Do you know?
I’m not sure about that one I’m afraid

Please can u tell me which one is better for brightening numbuzin or goodal?😭i cant choseeee:)
Hiya, this is very hard to answer I'm afraid as everyone is different. Both are one of the most gentle Vit C serums, and works different for everyone so I would actually advise you to try both and see which works better for you. They are both really affordable especially on Stylevana, they have sales on all the time :)
I really love to watch your videos ❤ i really like you and the way to speak 🫶
I like you too my darling! You’re so sweet! Thank you so much for liking my videos. Let’s keep glowing together 💚
Hello mama I’m suffering of melasma. Which one vitamin c for me you can recommend
Also the ones with Vit C derivatives like Lanbelle should be good too 🙂
@@oneeyebeauty Thank you for your suggestion, I appreciate it 😭💕
Mam I haven't tried vitamin c before I want to add it in my skin care which is gonna be better for me please reply ❤
You can for the beginner options shown in the video 🙂
Can I use goodal vitamin c serum with snail mucin?plz reply 😭
I don’t see why not tbh..? Snail mucin is usually gentle on the skin, and the goodal vit c can be irritating in the beginning if your skin isn’t used to vit c derivatives yet. I’d use the snail followed after to give an extra hydration but before should be ok too if you’re using it as an essence. Hope this helps 🙂
Can i use goodal vitamin c serum with Centella brightening ampoule?
Do you mean the skin1004 centella ampoule? They are both skin brightening serums so I would use one or the other. Try both at different times and stick with the one that works better for your skin :)
Hi can i know dr.dennis gross vitamin c serum is for beginners or it has high percentage of vitamin c
Hiya, I don't know this product very well but looking at it briefly it says that it contains 15% ascorbic acid which is a pure vit C so I would say that this is suitable for those at the advanced level of Vit C.
I am 60 years old and I have many wrinkles on my face and eyes. Vitamin C is suitable for me ? Thanks
YES definately. Vit C would be a game changer, and I would highly recommend you to also use retinol as well. If you haven't started yet, The ordinary has wide range of retinol serums that you can choose from 🙂
Hi , I've tried cosrx vitamin c . But i feel it sticky on my skin. I'm not sure why . Which vit c will you recommend me ?
It does have an oily texture. I find most Vit C serums with high percentage of pure vit C tend to be oily. If you dislike that, I suggest you go with a lower % option that I've recommended in this video for beginner to intermediate levels. They are less effective but will be more watery and less sticky
Just wondering is that a problem with delivery from stylevana. Some reviews about lost their parcel.
Heyy, can you recommend a syrum for 16 year with dark spots, really sensitive and dry skin
Let me know how you go 🙂
A very informative vido, thank you!! :)
My pleasure 🙂 See you again in my another video 💚
Can you review the dr althea vitamin c serum
I just had a look at it, and it features both pure vitamin C and vitamin C derivatives which I love! I'll try to add this to my next shopping basket to review. Thanks for your request 💚
@@oneeyebeauty Hello, thank you for the reply I appreciate you and your videos. 🎉 I will be waiting for that.
I am 17 girl with oily acne prone skin which vitamin c is best for me?
Hiya, have you got a lot of breakouts? In that case I wouldn't use vit c as vit c is more for maintaining a healthy skin or adding vitality to a dull skin without breakouts. I would recommend a niacinamide or a propolis serum for you.
I watch your video all the time, it is hard to choose since there’s too many vit c
Hey girl lot's of love from india❤.. Please suggest me vitamin c serum, i have oliy skin
Hiya, probably all the ones in the intermediate level as those are least oily 🙂
Hi, I'm a beginner of this skin care but i want to make brighting my skin so, can i start serum as numbuzin No.5+ Vitamin C ? Can u pls suggest me
Hiya, yes numbuzin only has a small amount of pure Vit C so is suitable for the beginners.
Wich serum is better for me for brightning and pigmentation
Which serum is there to brighten the complexion plz suggest me i am very upset ma'am plz suggest night time skincare rutine and morning skin care rutine
You give me hope that our skin can be better
Would be a favor to you
Could you please comment on Benton 20 vitamin c ?.
Hiya, sorry about my late reply. I haven't tried this product, but it says it has 20% pure vit c, so I think it would suit those with an advanced level of vit C.
In India the time is 11:56 pm, 1st Feb ❤😊
Ahhh just made it on 1st Feb! Happy February and happy skincare my friend in India 💚
@@oneeyebeauty I have bought boj sunscreen and going to buy boj glow serum from your past videos' recommendations... I love the boj sunscreen🧴❤️
How young at you Ms. Im just wondering you look stunning
Oh my goodness thanks so much! I'm 42 years young haha
Which of these vitamin c is best for dry and sensitive skin ?❤
Hiya, I have dry and sensitive skin and all of these have been ok for me. Start from the beginner level and move up as your skin adjusts to Vit C 🙂
First time here... I was waiting for her to introduce herself.,..to know who she is and what she does
Hi my lovely, sorry I don't introduce myself in every video, but I always introduce my channel as the place to find out all the K-beauty info in one eye 🙂 Sharing the most recent video that I explain about myself here th-cam.com/video/mOEi0P2R92k/w-d-xo.html
U look beautiful
Thank you Nancy 💚
I have sensitive and oily skin is it safe to choose Cosrx vita C?
Hi Elizabeth, yes if your skin isn't troubled with blemishes and is used to vitamin C. Have you tried Vit C serums with lower % of pure vit C yet? Get used to it first then you can move up to over 20% 🙂
Looking for an advice on the brand HaruHaru - black rice line, do you know if it is any good?
Hiya, I have reviewed the black rice toner and the cream in these videos here. th-cam.com/video/bdKSkrDC_Go/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/AeDoTqSdUwk/w-d-xo.html I think the unscented versions are not bad. Yes, you heard me there.. not bad. (I am way too honest with my product reviews 😂)
Thank you.
You're welcome 🙂
how is vitamin c from innisfree plz reply
Thank you.
