    Hi! I’m the one who commented that the cleansing oil removed all my make up! To clarify I don’t use waterproof eye make up. I use only khol pencil in my lash and waterline and lipstick.
    I would never hate anyone who didn’t like the same skincare products as I do! I can’t understand this! I love your reviews!

    So far, BOJ products (even the sun stick) have worked so well for me. I think their product lines have been formulated for skin that need minimal care. So those who may need stronger potencies in formulation might not see significant effects.

      @oneeyebeauty  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hiya! thanks for sharing your thoughts and I'm glad that this brand works well for you. I agree that they concentrate on a few core ingredients for minimal care. there sunscreen are very potent
      eye serum uses retinal which is only next to prescription tretinoin,and much more potent than retinol
      korean products are made based on principle of least irritation ,beauty of joseon still uses most potent ingredients retinal,arbutin(2% at maximum concentration)
      so among korean brands its still very potent

      @oneeyebeauty  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed the video! BoJ sunscreen is very moisturising so you could use it as 2 in 1 during day time. However, I would not recommend that you use it as an evening moisturiser as you're leaving the SPF chemicals on your face overnight. SPF contains ingredients that are hard to remove so if applied, double cleansing is a must and apply a regular moisturiser with no SPF. Sorry I had to tell you this. But stick with your routine during day time of course. Happy skincare with BoJ :)

I just take it as that everyone is different like every skin is different. 😄 Thanks for sharing your story as well. I really like the brands from by Wishtrend as well but they are a bit pricey. You should definitely be able to find more affordable and effective alternatives in K-beauty. I did hear that the red bean line in BoJ is good for oily skin and I love BoJ eye cream too as you already probably know! @@oneeyebeauty thank you so much for the recommendation! I have been using for 5-6 years a cleanser called “Dear, Klairs - Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil -150ml” and I love it. I think I was told that you should fight oily skin with oil. It helps remove blackheads and cleanse the pores leaving it super hydrated and pump. And a plus, it removes 100% waterproof mascara 🤗. It has been my go to but pretty pricey (30CAD so a bit less in USA). I was thinking of trying manyo but this one is expensive too 😤 I will try the Kaine cleansing gel! It's good to hear different people's openion on same product because I have oily skin and where I live more than half the year it's hot and humid, so very watery serums and toners are really good options. If you use more moisturizing toners you'll look like a grease ball. So I think certain things could totally depend on skintype and weather conditions.

    The rice sunscreen holds a special place in my heart. It’s the first chemical sunscreen I tried that I can actually use. I agree that the Skin1004 and iUnik sunscreens are better formulations and work better under makeup, but I love it for when I don’t wear makeup.
    I’m one of the essence water lovers. I put it in a mister bottle and apply it immediately after cleansing. Then, I use other toners and essences afterwards. I thought it wasn’t doing anything until I stopped using it, and my skin stopped looking as good.

      Hiya, thank you for sharing your thoughts. It's interesting to hear that the BoJ sunscreen worked so well for you. I have also heard from some that the ginseng essence water has helped their skin to improve whenever they get breakouts or rosacea. Makes me really wonder why it doesn't do anything to mine..?? • @tinksspixiedust
      @tinksspixiedust 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It’s not dewy but I’m working on it. A string of tragedies disrupted my life, and I stopped taking care of my skin for a few years. That was enough for my age to catch up with me and give me skin issues I’d never had before. I’m almost 67 but used to look like I was still in my 40’s. Sadly, I won’t get that back, but I’m working on getting the best skin I can have now. Perhaps why it works so well for me is my age and the years of neglect. Maybe it works better for difficult skin. BTW, mine is dry to very dry, super sensitive, and allergic to many common cosmetic ingredients.

    I’ll say the cleansing oil works great in my experience, removing everything, but I’ll note that I always pair it with the water-based BOJ green plum cleanser as a two-step cleaning process. This makes use of the whole like-dissolves-like principle of chemistry 101 and I’ve seen a number of influencers use it in this fashion.

      @@oneeyebeauty I would honestly describe the plum cleanser by itself as minimalist and unremarkable. I bought it because I trust BOJ at this point but realistically you could go a lot of ways with your second step cleansing product. That said, I plan to continue with the plum cleanser just because I know it pairs well with the ginseng oil and the combination has been quite gentle on my dry skin. I like that I know it will work and I’m generally less interested in and experimental with cleansing products than, for example, sunscreens.
      I don’t want to present the Dynasty cream in a too negative light, I just think it might be better suited to people with normal to oily skin.

I later finished using the two bottles and there were no issues after that pimple haha. Having said that, I felt that the sunscreen was a bit too heavy as I had oily skin.
      Later I switched to Numberzin sunscreen and I love it, though I am not sure if the 10 hour claim is valid.

If you have oily skin, personally I wouldn't recommend the cleansing oil or the cleansing balm as both are oil-based products. Cleansing water or gel is more recommended for skin types like you. I actually have a really different opinion on its sun stick. It works wonders for me!! (FYI I have oily skin). I've tried a few sunscreens previously, which none have worked - either left white cast, was too heavy or sticky. The BOJ sun stick was smooth to glide on my face, it left my face soft yet matte. And at the end of the day, my face produced much lesser oil compared to when I was using other sunscreens. to anyone who has oily skin, i'd say you may give it a try !

      @@oneeyebeauty You got me there with my favorite toner. I don't have one. Non of the ones I tried is IT. I am currently using Klairs Daily Skin Hydrating Water and it is my go-to toner. I love it so so much. My skin soaks it up like a dessert! It is mandatory in my routine. But it is not nourishing/hidrating enough tho. So I need another toner. I am on my way to finish BOJ Ginseng Essence waterr and will start the Kaine one. I think it is more hydrating.
      I have tried Cosrx Propolis toner some time ago and it was OK, I can't remember if I was impressed. But my skin was gratefull. One that comes to my mind right now is Rovectin Activating Treatment Lotion. Now, I can highly recommend this one. It contains 7 different types of hyaluronic acid.
      Anyway, I still believe that THE toner is somewhere out there....waiting for me to find it.

    • @oneeyebeauty
      @oneeyebeauty  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hiya, thanks for your question. Unfortunately, its percentage of Niacinamide isn't really specified anywhere including on BoJ website. However, in cases like this, my advice would be to have a look at where about's in the ingredient list it is written. If the ingredient is written in the top line means that it is added a lot, and the least added ingredients will be in the lower part. So this eye serum has Water, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, and Glycerin mentioned first so these would be the main ingredients and Niacinamide is sitting at the 10th so I would assume that its percentage isn't that high. Hope this helps :)

    The boj cleansing oil has soybean oil which has a moderately high comedogenic rating of 3-4 depending on which site you look at. I rarely get acne but definitely did a couple of times I used that cleansing oil. I can’t say for certain it was due to only the cleansing oil but possibly due to a combination of factors including the boj cleansing oil. Since I stopped using it on my face, I haven’t had any more breakouts recently though. Also I’ve been using it on my body and am about 1/2 way through the container, and it squirts out funny now. I don’t know if it’s just the container I received or if it’s the way it’s made.
