Seeing a woman cry makes us men feel so helpless. We are stumped as to what to say or do. Thanks for sharing real emotion.

Lol why would you feel helpless? Sometimes they just get overcome with emotion. Men and women are wired differently and we handle emotions differently. You feel stumped because you feel like you have to do something. You don't have to do anything. Let them cry and let them ride out their emotions.

Not sure why some people feel like they have to get defensive when a man states his opinion. I think it's commendable that you shared your opinion. It's also true of many men that they do feel helpless. Obviously no single opinion pertains to everyone, but I find it unnecessary that people come at you for making an obvious statement that pertains to many, but not all, men.

I love how varied DT can be from heavy, angry, instrumental, story, feeling, soft and melodic, down to beautiful songs like this, more-so amplified by the amazing musicians. Talent found nowhere else. they have all types of style. Also a collection of the best of the best on each instrument bringing stupid complex timing and coordination of such detailed intricate pieces from each player in each song is amazing talent. No band holds a candle to DT for straight talent writing and performing.
I feel Kels "extra" connection to music being a piano/keyboard player since age 11 for 26 years now, only musicians really feel the music as much or more than lyrics. Some emotion can only come from the music and solo's, emotion no words can bring (Like alter bridges "blackbird" guitar solo, i felt the sadness and anger in that beautiful guitar solo unlike any lyrics could portray). Back to playing keys, VERY few players can keep up as I naturally fit the keys and picked it up instantly by ear; never the 1st lesson...along with 26 years experience the most impressive Skynyrd piano solo (The breeze was one i liked playing, long nice solo) or improvisation on the spot took no effort as muscle memory just let it happen. Plus transition to bass, and 14+ years on drums and electric guitar (80s hairbands my fav. music) always in a local band I was pretty good; but keys was a whole other level. With that said as maybe 1 of 2-3 hundred-ish key players equaled me....hearing and watching Jordan Rudess molest the keys the way he does literally turned my stomach; hes legend!!! I can play much of his stuff, but his jazz fills and ridiculous speed and unhuman talent i cant touch made me stop playing for years lol. Anyway, just a personal appreceiation for these guys talent. I like to see people introduced to REAL music; they dont make that anymore

That shirt Kel has on sure does remind me of Nigels from Spinal Tap. You know it's anatomically correct right? I think you need to do Big Bottom by Spinal Tap. It is one of the most socially revelant songs ever. This song pretty much sums up the meaning of life.

What a master piece underrated but it doesn't matter to me.

The fact that Kel didn't make you stop and erase that impresses me endlessly.

You 2 know what life is all about, share your tears through life, through music, hugs, and ignore anyone who says any wrong about these most awesome togethernesses. In short, i second @punkinkeely 's comment, even though it was 4 flippin years ago 😊🥰

One of the greatest album endings of all time.

Album endings? They were still missing The Dance of Eternity, One Last Time, The Spirit Carries On (another ballad that would have turned on the water sparkers) and Finally Free. And the drum solo in Finally Free is one of the greatest finales on any album.

Great ballad and songs, new to this channel, great to see your passion.
If you want to hear another great, possibly the greatest ballad i´ve ever heard in metal ever.
Then check out the band: Adagio - promises (lyrics)
progressive neoclassical metal band from France, and just check out their stuff from their albums, specially their first two and their newest, very very underated band. Cheers from Denmark!

Sorry for your loss both of you. I have a little girl and wouldn't know what to do if something happened to her.

I highly recommend the live version of this, from the Live Scenes From New York... if you got the guts.
