Funny thing is I enjoyed the challenge overall. Tainted forgotten may be my favorite new character so far.
I still fear the day I have to complete that challenge.
Not as bad as Seeing Double, honestly. One good bomb upgrade and you're set. I got blood bombs on the first floor, which meant that the Forgotten constantly had a lake of blood around him that took care of almost every enemy type.
I ended up doing it surprisingly easily in my second try (days after I tried it for the first time and went... well that's gonna be an absolute pain in the ass), and without a particularly good build. Guess I kinda went zen mode with a "just be done with it" outlook.
Then there was seing double. Fuck that shit. At leasy 8 or 10 tries, until I got the angel flamethrower, and suddenly it was a free challenge (thank goodness for that. That challenge... Fuck that challenge)

just a tip on tainted forgotten: he acts like the lost as in he does not need the eternal fire to enter the mirror, letting you go through the mirror side with your soul hearts as opposed to lost hp.

Soy Milk + Libra has actually been nerfed now.
It’s more that Libra’s calculations have been changed so that it’s a much more balanced calculation rather than prioritizing tears significantly more

This honestly seems an incredibly fun character to play. I can definitely see the difficulty, but it seems just... Cool
I love the fact that while the other characters tainted versions are all physically different 'and in worse wear' to their normal counterparts, the Tainted Forgotten isn't any different to it's normal self, it's just lazy.

I love TBOI. Specially seeing people with personality playing them. Normally I don´t watch them since they are all like 1 hr long and there are around 5 episodes per week. However, editing and cutting all the process of the runs makes it so bearable and fun to watch. Thank you for choosing this format.

20:57, we need this custom run episode, soymilk and/or almond milk (I'd take both) plus kidney stone, i know the power isn't a lot, but the fire rate more than makes up for it i imagine. And you could get more damage along the way, as well as shot multipliers. If you see this comment, I hope you take it into consideration for a custom challenge, if you still do those in tboi.

I found out the other day that the Leech is over powered as tainted bethany, as every kill it gets adds one to her red heart counter, basically meaning infinite charges on Lemegeton.

Soy Milk + Libra isn't nearly as good as it was, it is now just a slight all stats up compared to your base stats. Just a heads up / "warning" for the future Hutts :)

You have to try this:
1. Choose either J&E or Tainted Forgotten
2. Go into Options and choose Change controler
3. Leave the game and re-enter
4. You can play the true true co-op now

I don't know if anyone cares but blue spiders actually don't deal 2.5 times of your damage anymore. They got nerfed to 2 times.
If you get soy/almond milk with spirit sword TAKE IT
The damage remains good because the sword has a multiplier, and you can constantly spin the sword which deflects tears

About ghost pepper not triggering, I came across a fun combo, soy milk, A+, Ghost Pepper. It basically makes a wall of fire tears it’s amazing
When Blood Puppy is angry, it actually deals like WAY more damage and you can target it at enemies so u should use that to your advantage, like don’t revert it to normal right then
You probably know this by now, but you actually don't need the white fire to enter the mirror world as tainted forgotten, the soul can just walk through it.
Dark Hutts is now gaining strength from him trying to be more positive.

I got Panic Button with Unicorn Stump on The Lost. Since it activated before you get hit, you're virtually invincible. I died anyway somehow.

I think Ed and the rest of the developers need to reevaluate the effects of the meta on the angel and the devil deals.
There's really no point of going for devil deals anymore when the top items, while still good, have been nerfed (maw of the void, guppy transformation, abaddon, little brimstone, brimstone, even athame.) And the items added both from Antibirth (2Spooky4Me, Eye of the Occult, etc.) and the original game (quarter, money = power) are unremarkable enough that they further dilute the overall strength of the devil deal pool, instead of boost it, taking away from its place in the meta of exchanging health for power.
This is in contrast to angel item pools with the top tier items left untouched (with the exception of Holy Mantle) and items like holy water being buffed. In addition to being able to guarantee the angel room and the additions to the pool making it much stronger than what it was in afterbirth plus, there really isn't much of a compelling reason to go for devil deals anymore, especially when health is more scarce overall.

Hurts, friendly spiders only do 2x damage, the same as flies. They got nerfed in Repentance (unless they got rebuffed in a patch no one talked about).
