Great video Alex
Thank you 🙏
Great content and appreciate the insight. Currently using the 3 Tangem Wallets. great bit of kit and so easy to use
Thank you! Tangem is awesome, no doubt.
Thanks for the informative video. Subscribed!
Question: If I set up the Tangem 2.0 wallet using the seed phrase option does that mean I need to type in the seed phrase every time I want to use the wallet?
Thanks for watching. And no. You only enter it once. Unless you delete the app or do a factory reset on your cards.
You can also import that seed phrase into other hardware wallets if you want
Awesome, I got the Tangem wallet a couple days ago. I truly think this wallet can bring self custody to greater masses. Probably not the mainstream, but for crypo fans. Its soooo easy and fun to use! I do most stuff correctly in this video but I dont have a hot wallet yet, and I still need to rent a bank safe for my backup Tangem card and probably need to get a metal wallet to be extra safe.
It’s so easy to use even for non crypto people. Definitely need to use a burner wallet too.
Can your burner wallet be the same brand? Like a second Tangem? Essentially it’s a go-between for when you want to purchase something with your crypto? So what I’m gathering and I want to get clear is that if I’m purchasing crypto or tokens on an exchange it’s safe to transfer to my main wallet and keep it there. But if I wanna take Tokens from that and put it in my burner wallet that burner wallet is the one I use to transact for goods and services? Sorry I’m new-ish
Thanks
@@danacollins6386 Burner wallet should not have the majority of your crypto, just like a burner phone it is disposable. Yes you could use any wallet, even from the same company. With the burner wallet you can connect to smart contracts without having the fear of losing the funds in your main wallet. This would be like your checking account, which is separate from your savings account.
@@danacollins6386 also, you don't need a second Tangem. You could use one Tangem wallet as your main wallet and have MetaMask (or any other hot wallet) be your burner wallet.
Your videos are awesome 🤩 i have only one concern that tengem doesn’t support my tokens .. what can i do plz tell me
Thank you! And which tokens? There are other cold wallet options that will support your tokens.
what are the best wallets for interacting with cardano dapps? I know you mentioned ledger and keystone, are there any others? thanks
I DID NOT mention Ledger. I do not recommend their products.
As for cardano compatible wallets I recommend OneKey, Trezor, and Tangem.
*"Just stop clicking on stuff......"* 😆 The best advice even given!
😂
Hi,
How to add latest cryptos to the cold wallet.
For example how to add kaspa to a cold wallet.
You simple transfer Kaspa from your exchange to your cold wallet.
Here’s a transfer guide:

I was planning on getting a Trezor save 3 to replace my ledger nano , would this still be a good idea or better get a onekey or tandem? P.s. thank you for all the great video's
The safe 3 is awesome. One of my favorites.
Onekey is comparable except they offer a solid desktop AND mobile app you can use with your wallet.
Can’t go wrong with either imo.
Tangem is the most user-friendly of the bunch, but it is mobile only.
P.S. thank you for watching
I have Trevor it’s great. Go for the 3
"Just stop clicking" very good haha
LOL. Simple, but effective!
Best place to buy crypto so I can move it off coinbase & get keys. Etc
Trezor has a BUY feature where you can purchase crypto and have it sent straight to the cold wallet. Is this more advisable over buying on centralized exchanges and then sending to the cold wallet?
You could do that without sacrificing security no problem. However, the fees might be more than just buying on an exchange and transferring to your wallet.
I'd compare fees to see which is the better option.
- Alex
Also keep in mind that to transfer your money to wallet off of hot wallet it cost money. Btc fees are crazyy

When tangem 5 cards for backup because it is cool to use without seed phrase.I hate seed phrase
Hey im not sure if they will offer an option to setup more than 3 cards for one wallet. I'll ask them and let you know.
- Alex
Hi, thks for information. Can you please tel me if i connect my hot wallet to my tangem wallet, if someone find my my seed key, it can acess to all my cryptos in my tangem ?
If they find your seed to your Tangem wallet, yes they can access all your crypto.
If they found the seed to the connected hot wallet, no they couldn’t access your Tangem wallet
@@cyberscrilla @@cyberscrilla i pretend create my tangem with secure phrase and then if possible, import trust wallet with is seed phrase.
Thats what i ask, if some one take my seed, can acess my cryptos even of i have secure phrase on tangem?
I can have both or i have to chose secure phrase or seed?
Is there any way of deleting these random NFT’s or tokens that appear on the transactions in your hot wallet? Obviously I’m not clicking on them. On CB hot wallet there’s no way of clearing or deleting them.
No. You can’t delete something that’s on the blockchain unfortunately.
@@cyberscrilla Thanks. Great videos, been a sub now for a couple months.
Hey I have a question. I have a few tokens on Uniswap, how do I transfer them to my cold wallet?
Step 1: Access Your Uniswap Account:
Go to the Uniswap interface or the platform where you have your tokens stored and connect your wallet.
Step 2: Select Tokens:
Choose the specific tokens you want to transfer to your cold wallet.
Step 3: Initiate a Withdrawal or Swap:
Find the option to withdraw or send your tokens.
Step 4: Enter Wallet Address:
Enter the wallet address of your cold wallet where you want to send the tokens. Double-check check the address is accurate to avoid losing your crypto.
Step 5: Confirm Transaction:
Review the transaction details, including fees.
Confirm the transaction and follow any additional authentication steps required by your wallet.
Step 6: Wait for Confirmation:
Transactions on blockchain networks require confirmation. Wait for the confirmation to ensure the tokens are successfully transferred.

...i would also send a minimum test amout b4 sending the whole bag.

Ok here’s a question how am I meant to stake crypto if it’s in my cold wallet surely I should leave a small amount to stake?
Good questions. You wouldn’t want to use your main cold storage wallet for staking.
However, cold wallets are capable of staking. I’d suggest dedicating a separate wallet solely to staking for maximum security.
- Alex
@@cyberscrilla what cold storage wallet would you recommend for staking?
@kadedeanmchale7574 what coin are you wanting to stake?
@@cyberscrilla Bitcoin etherum monero xrp cardano solana cosmos etc these are the ones that come to mind I have invested in I have invested in many more but a universal cold storage wallet where I can stake some if not all of those cryptos so I get the passive income rather it just sitting around
Is Ledger still good?
I do not recommend Ledger. If you’re looking for a similar wallet functionality wise I’d go with Trezor or OneKey
I don't like Ledger neither. i'm switching to Trezor
They are a big disappointment. I've bought a Nano S 3.5 years ago, just to get all of my personal data leaked(with half a million other users' in 2021) and targeted by many scammers with thousands of scam emails and so on and they never even compensate us for this security incident.
Not to mention the current fishy things like ex- Ledger-members leaking things and just the fact that your seed can be restored by the government(aka they can freeze them aswell without any reason, then what's the point of freedom of crypto?)
Imagine being a crypto holder while your personal data(name, telephone number, ADDRESS, email) is being leaked to the dark web.
And i guess it's not the last incident, they are very fishy.
Its the government im more concerned knowing what i got and them ripping me off when they force the app companys to revel my infomation!!!
Either way. You have to pay taxes. They’ll always know what you got
Hey Scrilla, any wallets with Bluetooth capabilities besides Ledger?
For sure, the OneKey wallet (I linked it in the description) had Bluetooth and so does the Safepal X1 👍
@@cyberscrilla Thanks, I’m looking into the OneKey classic but I have another question so if I decide to add a 25 word or pass phrase and OneKey goes out of business what hot wallets support seed words and the 25th word?
@@cyberscrilla Thanks, I’m currently looking into the OneKey classic but I got another question, so I know a lot of hot wallets support BIP39 but do you of any that support the 25th word or pass phrase? Just curious if OneKey were to become insolvent ect.
If I lose one Tangem card at Starbucks, should I freak out? What do?
As long as you have your access code set, no one will be able to use it without your code. If you used the seed phrase method you should be good.
If you setup the wallet without using a seed phrase it might be time to get new cards, create a new wallet, and transfer your crypto to the new cards.
@@cyberscrilla Content idea: Simulate scenarios like this from start to finish. You can have dramatic titles like, "Your Wallet got Stolen? Now What?"
You rock!
@@TimotejFedlimid-zo3hy Great idea! Thanks!

2FA your email as well.
For sure. However, an authenticator app is more secure because your email could be compromised.
You missed my point. In addition to 2FA exchanges you should 2FA your email. If not, if they get access to your email they could get access to your 2FA information and re-route@@cyberscrilla
I like yubi key better for 2fa
BitBox02 also offers 2fa service same as yubi key.
...can't update a tangem wallet.
I split my cryp between Trezor, Ledger n. x.and D'cent wallets.
That’s a good thing.
Easy don’t use ledger
THIS.
Why delete my comment?????
I don’t think I did?
I have NFT attacks coming to my ledger balance. Is there any option to neutralize them?
Unfortunately no. Your public address is available for anyone to see since it’s on the blockchain. You just have to ignore these NFTs.
