Let me know, are you sticking with Ledger or switching it up?
If you like Tangem, use my code “CYBERSCRILLA” to get 10% off your order.
Peace!
I recently returned from keystone back to my ledger cuz my keystone hardware gave me so many problems, and despite all the security breaches from ledger, the device itself is still secure and more durable than my keystone was.
Ledger is definitely more user-friendly than Keystone.
Not more secure imo
There are plenty of options that are just as user friendly as Ledger, with a better reputation as well
Ive had my ledger x for years and never had a problem. I dont use dapps and just hodl. I also have 2 trezor to spread my holdings.
@@cyberscrillahow about trezor?
@@cyberscrilla can you provide technical proof for that rather than your "opinion"? Sure, ledgers customer database was hacked, not the hardware wallet. Sure a man in the middle attack was done with the js library, this has been done before, too many people trust non-signed libraries posted on package manager sites like npm, etc.
Has there been a successful wallet hack that was able to access a ledger's keys from the secure element without the user giving access by clicking the two buttons to "accept"?
Even for tangem, you use the seed provided version. Because a 25year warranty is only going to give you a new set of cards, it's not going to recover your crypto. I cringed when I heard about tangem and then they didn't give you a recover phrase, even though the cards are supposedly durable and you have 3 of them.
love the video . To the point. no nonsense.
learnt a lot. thanks
Thank you!
Wow, great content. I am sticking with Tangem, I still have my Ledgers. I am looking into getting Keystone 3.
Thank you! Keystone 3 Pro is great, just not as user friendly so know what you’re getting into beforehand:)
@@cyberscrillahow about ELLIPAL TITAN? Ledger Nano X is trash, I am gonna transfer my crypto to other cold wallet.
The ledger update is required if you want to continue validating deposit/withdrawer addresses, I ran into the issue I could not validate my Eth address anymore unless I updated me ledger x.
Exactly. You have no choice but to upgrade the firmware
@@cyberscrilla yep...
And I do have tangem and other wallets here in use now, I just don't use tangem enough, mostly because they lack native options for I.e cardano... Can't stake my cardano through tangem nor can use native options
Great video! I’m buying the 3-card set with your code.
Awesome! Thank you!
I still use my ledger and plan to keep using it. I only use it as cold storage and if I transfer crypto with it its only to my other wallets which are then used to sell/swap. I don't connect it to anything else.
I just got a Tangem wallet as well. Very easy to use and I'll probably make it my go to wallet for now.
I'm not excited about the recover feature. I'll never use it, but I can understand why others might.
Nice!! And exactly, the recover feature isn’t for everyone… but there is a market for it.
love both of them as well ledger and tandem
I Tangem.
After checking many reviews, I decided to go with this Swiss product as my first ever HW wallet. I've using it for few weeks now and I love. Very simple use and no need to connect to desktop PC.
Happy to hear you enjoy it!
Good content, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Are you ever worried that you don't have your seed phrase using the tangenm wallet? I know they have the option to use a seed phrase as well, but just curious on your thoughts.
I only use the seed phrase option and I don’t recommend not using it.
Thanks for this video. Do you know from which frimware version they able to extract the seed ?
All versions within the last 6 months I believe. I don’t remember the exact version where it appeared
Thanks a lot for this video. Could you please tell me if for example I would get my crypto on Nano X (I just received it it’s sitting on my desk still unboxed)and Tangem wallet at the same time will my crypto still be on Tangem wallet if it would got stolen from Nano X?
If you are using the same seed phrase on both wallets, and something happens on either wallet, like you fall victim to a phishing scam and your crypto was stolen, it’d be gone on both wallets.
Crypto isn’t stored on the cold wallet. The device stores your private key. So if your key is compromised, your crypto is gone.
I use several brands of cold storage wallets. But ledger is best; and the new ledger also has EAL6 security chip upgrade.
Nice! Why do you like Ledger best?
User friendly and I like their it's 25th word passphrase. Up to 100 characters if you want. Some only go to 8 characters 25th word. And I do differently at the optional recovery feature , I feel it's a genuine effort to help out the masses who do have trouble in storing their private seed. Other companies fall short of that level of customer support . It takes a huge level of skill to do what they have done .their will be a lot of gratefully customers in times ahead. They are nice and compact as well. And I read that they are using EAL6 chip in one of the new batch coming out. But I also like several other wallet too not just ledger. Love your content bro keep it up. Cheers Stevo.
Thanks Stevo!
Definitely the best for the price
Ledger is not the best at all they've been hacked repeatedly and now they want people to give up their seed phrase. I mean what planet are you actually on you? You probably work for ledger.
Are any third party wallets compatible with tangem. It's hard to have a security breach when it's not compatible with web3 dapps.
It uses walletconnect to connect to a ton of dapps.
I don’t think it’s compatible with any hot wallets though.
Hmm yes, thats what i look for in a hardware wallet, KYC and a backdoor. Gotta love it.
lol
KYC is for the recover service. Don't use it.
What's the back door?
@@pilotboba The hardware has firmware designed to extract your passphrase. You don't give me the key to your house on the promise that i wont enter without your permission.
Even assuming ledger's protocol is totally cool and trustworthy, they increase 3rd party risk. Which is exactly what's supposed to make a hardware wallet better than an exchange.
@@Proxyincognito Ledger Recover asks for the ability to export the keys, and you can say no. So your metaphor is flawed. They don't have the key and then ask for your permission to use it.
If you say yes the device creates the 3 shards and encrypts them.
If all this time you trusted the firmware to keep your key safe why don't you trust it with this additional feature?
Now if you don't want to use a ledger because of the flawed way they rolled out this feature and poorly explained it or that their customer database was hacked (which was NOT protected with a ledger wallet) then those are perfectly acceptable reasons. But, if you are saying the security of the ledger which is fully audited and certified is lesser than some other wallet, you really need the technical proof rather than an "opinion".
If you don't want to use a ledger, don't, I'm fine with that. But, we should be clear what is opinions vs fact about the security of a device.
@@pilotboba just keeping on an exchange with 2FA is good enough?
I have the Ledger Nano S, which is rock solid. There is no Recovery Element option available, so it's still the old school secured version. The newer ones are vulnerable for hacking...?
same here 💪💪
Sounds like the Nano S is not supported or won't be supported soon. My mates screen failed and have brought a few of Ali Express to fix it so then he can access his funds to then smash the Nano S into little pieces
If your ledger device is not connected to the ledger app/website, can you be hacked? Also, can you check the your assets on ledger app without connecting your ledger device?
I’m not saying there are any inherent risks connecting to Ledger Live.
You can be hacked if you connect any wallet to a malicious website and sign a malicious transaction though.
@@cyberscrilla If selling, do you need to connect your ledger device to ledger app or not, since you can see your assets on the app. Sorry this question sounds stupid. Thank you.
@TheIntrovertWanderer if you are selling using ledger live, yes you’d have to connect the device
Keystone pro is air gapped and my goto cold wallet, its easy to use and works with meta mask, solflare etc
Good wallet for sure!
I have a ledger I bought in 2020 that i've never opened/used. I've been watching your tangem videos and just picked up the tangem wallets. I like the idea of having crypto stored on one wallet then move it out to a 2nd wallet when needed so i don't risk all of my crpyto at once. I'm not sure if i should stick with the ledger I do have however. And if I did then I would have to setup the tangem with the keyphrase right?
You could use the Ledger as your transaction (burner wallet) and your Tangem as your main cold storage wallet.
And yes, I recommend using the seed phrase option.
ok will do that until i grab another wallet thanks!@@cyberscrilla
@@cyberscrillaalso when i do this i need to setup the seed phrase on the ledger first right since it is 24 words instead of 12 like the tangem creates?
Switched to the trezor safe 3 after watching your channel a while back
I replied to your post but because I mentioned another channel, my post got removed. Silly, crypto channels should be supporting each other
Trezor has issues too
I did not see or remove any comments if that’s what you’re implying.
Also, no hardware wallet is perfect. The Safe 3 is great imo
Any news on the tangem ring Alex.
Thanks for the great work you're doing.
Should be very soon! Don’t worry, you’ll know once it launches ;)
The purpose of using a hardware wallets is to keep crypto safe from attacks. By using a wallet that does not allow you to visually confirm the transaction, how can you be sure that you are actually signing the right transaction? Wallets like ledger and trezor allow you to do so by using their builtin display but these "card" wallets don't have one. How can you trust that the software you're using on your mobile phone was not tampered with?
The important thing is that you use the official Tangem app which is 100% open source
Totally agree. There is a lot of shilling for Tangem (probably sponsored) but this is a major security flaw in my opinion which needs to be addressed.
This is not sponsored. And the reason why I recommend Tangem is because it’s the easiest wallet to use and is secure. It has never been hacked.
For a majority of people, Tangem is the best choice.
If you’re a beginner and you buy a wallet that’s too difficult to use, it actually becomes a security risk because mistakes will be made.
@@cyberscrilla but that doesn't mitigate the risk. Just like computers, smartphones can get virus or be attacked in a way that you could eventually be signing a transaction for a spoofed address. If the hardware wallet has a display you can visually check the destination address before signing the transaction.
I agree with this as well. Though it is the easiest and most user friendly option- I'm not sure if its the safest given that you would have to trust the tangem app that the transaction is non-malicious versus being able to confirm it yourself.@@spastikmaniac
I transferred all my coins from Ledger to Trezor and Tangem.
only one left is ICP because no hardware wallet is supporting ICP yet but I heard Tangem will support ICP by this year, when that happens my Ledger will go to the trashbin.
Love to hear it!
Can you please let me know if this Tangem wallets can be reset like from factory then start again! TY
I don't believe so but that's just what I heard, I have not verified this myself
You can reset the cards to factory settings using the app
@cyberscrilla can you do a video how to do please?

Hey man, can you review these three protection extensions and tell me if it's a problem to use all three at the same time, and if it gets in the way when using them with an antivirus?
- wallet guard
- Web3 antivirus
- pocket universe
Interesting! I’ll look into this
Didn't you say in previous videos that a HW wallet without a screen doesn't make sense? It doesn't matter how secure your 25-years warranty no-screen HW is if your phone is compromised.
I didn’t say that. It’s a concern with some people. But as of now, over 1 million wallets sold and not a single one has been compromised.
@@cyberscrillayou’re referring to ledger? no ledger has ever been compromised??
I’m talking about Tangem
ledger is so hard to use. it keeps on giving updates and every updates it is asking me for kyc before i can buy or sell. there is also no csr to talk to
If you want I more user friendly wallet, I’d definitely look into Tangem. Here’s my user guide showing you how simple it is to use:
Tangem Wallet Tutorial: Quick Setup & Transferring Crypto!

Ive got a one key and a trezor but they dont have all the crypro i have. They dont have arweave, dot and icp they have the others i have. I dont want to have diffrent wallets and memorising more than one seed phrase. Could i use the wallet i set up on trezor and type in that seed phrase into a ledger and have access to all the coins they can secure as they can do so with all the ones i have.
And say for example i put all the coins i have that trezor can support then move that wallet over to a ledger then put icp and arweave on it and dot, then put it back on a trezor wallet what would happen would they show up or will they only be visible whilst using a ledger wallet? It wouldnt wipe the keys or anything would it
Yes you can use the same seed phrase in multiple wallets. And correct, the crypto would still be in your wallet but it wouldn’t be displayed if the wallet you use doesn’t support it
@cyberscrilla appreciate for the reply. So would you say ledger would be OK just for using for storing your keys and using a hidden pass phrase what I will do on trezor so the seedphrase and pass phrase was not done using their site. The reason I say this is because of the controversy that came about a little while back that they may have access to your generated seedphrases ect. Correct me if I'm wrong or please add additional information be much appreciated. I don't want to lose my money. If you got any other recommendations of wallets that can store those crypto and render, fetch, gala and hbar that's open source that would be great too. 👍
I don’t use ledger at all personally. I just don’t like them or trust them as much as other companies.
Unfortunately there’s not a single wallet that I know of that supports all those tokens.
If you are looking for good Ledger alternative though, I’d check out the Onekey Classic 1S.
It’s open source, super easy to use with mobile or desktop devices, and supports many third party wallets for additional coin support.
Here’s a video covering the wallet. Let me know if you have any questions.
th-cam.com/video/We3bMqSN0c4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nl3OwnHSGtEf7YdW
@cyberscrilla I've got the one key touch and trezor 3 but they're lacking them coins what I've got, it only seems that the ledger has them all. Did you say you can use your seedphrase across multiple hw wallet brands and put the keys to the crypto on it that the other hw wallets don't have and they will be in your crypto wallet but only accessible when using the wallet that supports those coins if that makes sense? So I could get the ledger put icp arweave on there then put it back on to the trezor and say when the time comes to sell I could just go on the ledger sell them and then go back to using the trezor? Or even create a passphrase wallet just for those ones on the ledger. Sorry for the questions I just want to fully understand the concept of the actual wallet/seedphrase
Ps another thing is I just watched a tutorial and the ledger seems to only offer a 24 seed phrase if I imported a 12 word seed phrase would that affect it or limited what I could do in anyway?
How do you know your phone is not hacked ? Keeping Seed phrase hidden is an necessary for me. What would you suggest for me?
Phones done get hacked like that.
@@GrindinDaily phones are done indeed. It's time for Zero trust crypto.
This is a pretty generic question. This would depend on the phone you use, but there are signs you’d likely notice.
And the seed phrase isn’t stored on your phone or in the app when using Tangem, it’s stored on the secure element inside the card.
If you don’t like Tangem, I’d look into the Onekey Classic 1S or the Trezor Safe 3
@@cyberscrilla thanks...I think you misunderstood me, my concern is with displaying the seed phrase on the phone's screen, its a risk I'm not willing to take as its relatively easy to avoid, worth the extra efforts imo.
Gotcha, if your phone has malware that could be an issue even though the seed is displayed very briefly
Valid points!
Although, I think I need to point out some caveats :
The social engineering aspect (phishing & receiving a new cold wallet) can all be avoided with common sense! As for the Ledger Connect Kit compromise, neither the hardware wallet or Ledger Live was affected, which as far as I know is all you need to use your wallet.
Obviously Ledger screwing up so many times in such a small timeframe is not good, but remember that literally anything can be exploited nowdays. Hardware supply chain attack can still happen to any wallet! I think we dont need to be that paranoid, crypto is digital and thus there will always be a risk of it being compromised.
My opinion on this is that Ledger is becoming safer security wise. Usually, whenever a company gets breached, its like a wakeup call. They invest much more money into the security side! End of day it will take a lot of things to go extremely wrong for everyone to lose their crytpo (everyone that uses ledger) and if that happens, it could have had happened on any other wallet. But hey, thats just my opinion, thank you for the video!
My view: there are better options, why not use them?
Took my Nano S out of safe yesterday and screen dead. Luckily I could use phone to see dim screen. Moved all crypto off ledger. Now looking for new wallet. Was out of warranty. Ledger support said sorry to hear, give me a €20 voucher. Said I was in South Africa. Just didn’t reply.
Nice. I just ordered an RPM tangem to replace my ledger. I'm 40 yrs late to getting into a little teck and many out there are the same so it must be safe, and simple..If we want full adoption of crypto these things must be easy to use and safe for the earlier gen folks.
Nice! And I agree with you. That’s why I believe Tangem is ahead of the game with their wallet.
@cyberscrilla i hope so, will soon find out. I ordered a custom one as they are a little fancier on the cover.
Let me know how you like it!
@cyberscrilla will do👍 just ordered it a day ago, hope it doesnt take long to arrive. Im really hoping it'll take more of the mineable coins.
what aabout just not using ledger live and using somehting like blockstream green
Idk. I just choose to not use Ledger products altogether. With so many options on the market, I think it’s worth trying something else like Onekey or Tangem.
Original ledger Nano S doesn't contain enough memory to store the recovery function.
Do you have to agree to the terms of doing the ledger, restore, giving the consent to your past phrase and having to do proof of identity?
Nope
With tangem you cant use with hot wallets like MM ....its a no for me ...until they have that feature enabled
True, but genuinely curious why you need to use your cold wallet with metamask?
ok now we are at firmware 2.2.3 for ledger. Even if we do the upgrade of the firmware as far as i understand as long as we don't subscribe to the seed phrase service. It's ok for the ledger wallet.
Sure. It’s just a matter of whether you trust Ledger or not, especially when there are better options on the market.
Ledger is completely safe, what i worrying people is their recovery service which in itself is optional. Just use your ledger to store your crypto, do not subscribe to their optional recovery service and keep your passphrase safe. You will be fine.
@@DepecheModeDM Because they lied.
@@UnclePhillyMyAss i do not think they lied, they are not really forcing people into subscribing to that service.
@@DepecheModeDM It doesnt matter. They stated they didnt have access to your keys. Then it turns out they do. They also admitted theyd have them to hand over if ever dealt a subpoena. Theyre liars. I love my ledger nano x, so easy to use with my iphone. Ive been looking at the trzor and it feels like im downgrading
The Onekey Classic 1S would be a better ledger alternative and wouldn’t “feel like a downgrade” as much imo

Yes. Tangem has a recovery phrase now.
Also, the app is open source so anyone can download it from GitHub (if it doesn’t exist on the App Store for example)
Furthermore, if it were deleted from the App Store but you still have the app on your phone, you can still use it.

I would trust a hot wallet before I would trust Ledger
Guys maybe A stupid question what if you make the extra passphrase option? Does it protect from this situations and kyc. Backdoor shitttt😅
There is no back door if you don’t opt in for the feature
Don’t opt-in for Ledger Recover, then you don’t have to submit ID/Selfie and your phrase “should” remain in your wallet.
It’s more about trust/integrity with Ledger. If you like their product and you trust them, cool.
If not, there are other options.
what happens if you lose your tandem wallet?
Depends..
If you use the seed phrase option and you lost all your cards for example, nothing would happen, you can import your seed phrase into a new wallet to recover your crypto.
If you use it seedless and you lose ALL your cards, you lose your crypto. Tangem recommends transferring your crypto to a new wallet if you lose any of your cards for this reason.
BUT. That’s why i recommend using it with a seed phrase. Same as any wallet
Currently using ledger nano x this video has defiantly made me think of upgrading, just looking on Amazon now is it the tangem wallet 2 ?
Nice! Yes it’s often referred to as Tangem 2.0 now (comes with the option to generate a seed phrase)

The ceo needs to be relegated to marketing decisions only and kept away from the engineering side
It is clear the ceo is an arrogant French person who treated his customers with less respect than he should have
This is the only way now for ledger to restore credibility, they cannot do it from within the company anymore

I just returned my ledger. Not taking that risk
Nice, what’s your plan now? Do you have a your eyes on another wallet?
Exatly my man. Exactly. I just don't trust them like I used to when they were the only game in town. Tangem is FAR easier to use and it's what the masses will use moving forward.
THIS. No wallet is perfect, but Tangem has the right idea imo.
If you transfer money on Tangem, do they use different UTXO addresses? I heard they don't and that is a huge issue as everybody then can see your entire history for a wallet. Is this true? If so is it being fixed? Otherwise it's unusable.
This is true for now. Multiple addresses should be supported in May/June.
To say it’s unusable is an extreme exaggeration though.
Some people could care less if others can see their wallet history.
Welcome to the blockchain - where everything is transparent.
Today I went to check my cripto on the nano x and all my cripto was taken. Without connecting my nano the passwords nobody knows it's not written down on any device. Your cripto is not safe on the nano

Ledger is shooting themselves in the foot, I love Ledger devices and the ecosystem but why not give us the choice of a firmware without Recover, like Trezor does for BTC only firmware, this would be easier than a separate purchasable Recover enabled device.
Agreed. If I remember correctly, they basically said it’d be more work to create separate firmwares
When a company is doing everything it can't please anyone else rather than the customer really is time to start questioning motives

@@user-xb4pg8zj1z serious question, because you spam the comments with random statements and nothing to back what you’re saying.
What bothers me is that it’s closed sourced. Ledgers looks very practical to use and the format is great but you have to just trust them while knowing that there is a way to extract your seed.
Yeah, it’s scary.. especially considering the other breaches
but tangem also has recovery seed function so i don't understand why it would be different from ledger??
You’re talking about something else.
Ledger Recover is a subscription service that extracts your private key and sends it to 3 separate entities for storage.
Also if you’re subpoenaed, they would give it to the government.
Tangem DOES NOT have that service or access to your private key.
Yes, Tangem has a seed phrase you can recover your wallet with (like most wallets), but Ledger is the only company with a subscription based backdoor service
MASSIVE difference
@@cyberscrilla ok thanks for clearing it out i was looking to buy one and it said 3 cards in the package with seed phrase recovery so that's why i asked
@matthiasvandamme8155 I gotcha!
So Tangem is a seedless wallet (you can use it without generating a seed phrase) if you want.
I recommend setting it up with a seed phrase though.
Here’s my tutorial for setting up and using Tangem, check it out:

Everyone hates on the idea of ledger recovery. but I promise you that the way you lose your pass phrase Youl be kicking yourself that you didn’t have a recovery service. Sure it’s not for everyone. but for everyone it does help. it could be priceless.
Not for me. But like I said, there’s a market for it.
The amount of people that are "scammed " out of crypto and these are early adopters with a kean interest in crypto. This means that 90% of the population arent capable of looking after keys safely themselevs so ledger recover is good for thoae people ... Not for me though . Please focus on ledger been untrustworthy that hasnt happened yet ignore the millions of scams millions of people are falling for every year, you need to focus your education in the correct place .
EXACTLY
Why would anyone give Ledger recovery access, surely as long as you don't lose your seed phrase your crypto will always belong to you, as far as I am aware you can purchase another Ledger or any other cold wallet and input your seed phrase and you have access to your keys again.
Because people lose their seed phrase. But to your point, I’d NEVER sign up for Ledger Recover
Paid service? To open breach?
I don't like that this infrastructure pathway exist. It's troubling. I can't shake that off. I love their products because they are fairly easy to use. I've never had an issue with any, but now I live with another level of paranoia.
Makes me kind of angry.
It's sold as a impenetrable Safe storage but it looks like it's no better than a simple USB stick that can compute...
They give the Game a bad name.
Now what? I need to buy the next best fncking thing?
What's the best way to safe my fncking retirement?
The consensus is “just don’t sign up for the service and you have anything to worry about”
My thought is: why trust Ledger when they haven’t been clear about their product’s functionality?
Plus, the two breaches.
There are always other options.
Its fraud is what I believe
With Tangem’s model isn’t there a risk that when using the seed phrase option there is malware on your phone? Advantage of Ledger and Trezor is that it’s done on the device?
I dumped my Ledger in 2017.
Nice! What do you use now?
@@cyberscrilla I create my wallet off line. 24 words BIP39 advanced option. Copy my receive address and send bitcoin to those. All off line. To access or spend, I use my own node through Sparrow Wallet and set up a spend account. Buy a new Android phone and use that for smaller transactions. I use Muun and Phoenix for Lightning transactions. Plus I've memorized my seed phrase. I've been checking out Unstoppable Wallet.
I got dusted by a phishing scamer on my ledger . I will no longer use ledger.
All wallets are susceptible to phishing scams. That is a user error, not a wallet error.
Wondered how that happened. Thanks
If you’ve got bad firmware on your hardware wallet it’s game over. It’s always been possible for a firmware update to allow export of your private keys. This is what happens when a company uses non-technical people to manage their social media accounts.
I have 2 Ledgers. I dont trust them anymore sorry.
What wallet are you looking to get now?
I have few trezors now
I literally just got one a few days ago, and I’m thinking about returning it. I just don’t feel comfortable with all that extra recovery phrase nonsense, they should of made a different device for all that.
It’s up to you. As I said in this video, there are plenty of other options on the market
Nooooooooooo.
🚫Absolutely not Ledger 🚫
Tangem shill, nothing else, tangen has many more issues including the short seed phrase issue, DYOR folks
Looks like you need to DYOR. “Short seed phrase issue” lol
@@cyberscrilla I can find many more TH-cam buds finding many more issues with tabgem. The fact is if you stay away from the recover feature and use it as it's supposed to be used, ledger is the safest option. Tangem is novice class with better commissions for shimmer youtubers. Also your prompt reply shows how busy you are not, lol
I regret spending money in this trash. Why this wallet doesn't allow to initialize offline? Do they collect our data? I don't trust this company anymore.
Most wallet companies collect your data at some point, usually when you order the device.
It’s in their privacy policy.
Also, i believe most wallets need an internet connection to initialize the wallet.
@@cyberscrilla There are some wallets that we can initialize offline, for example: Trezor, Ellipal, Keystone. If we don't use the companies app, there is no chance for they collect our data, such as IP, coins/tokens, public key, and so on. I agree that they may have some information about us when we purchase from them. But there is no reason to give them more data.
Maybe the companies don't collect anything. Maybe they do. Why take a chance?
Although most people don't care about it. I think I'm overconcerned about privacy.
Ledgers are crap...Expensive Crap!
Indeed, better off trusting a complete stranger with your keys
Not really expensive compared to the competition. Trezor Model T is $219.
Trezor Safe 3 is $79.
If you want to compare the most expensive wallets from each company be fair at least.
Trezor Model T - $219
Ledger Stax - $279
Ledger is actually one of the cheaper one. Definitely cheaper than trezor
Trezor not support iOS
I had several Tangems and only problems with them.
What are the problems?
In this case we have no worries because if only me and these other 3rd party entities have access, then that would be a extremely small circle to investigate. I mean I'm sure these guys make enough money and wouldn't risk jeopardizing their business to steal a lil bit of crypto. Im just saying, sounds like you're nocking ledger so you could sell some tangem wallets. Not accusing you i just don't see why very few people are so anti ledger when they're obviously a legitimate company with millions of customers to back them up. Doesn't take a rocket scientist...
That doesn’t mean anything. Coinbase has millions of customers too, and they are scammers.
It’s about integrity for me. And Ledger fails in that department.
Why use a wallet that has made so many mistakes when there are so many other options?
Couldn’t be me
NGRAVE???
Overpriced. Overrated.
This could be a good channel with the actual OP of this channel didn't go around insulting everyone has lost bitcoin by saying it's user error. It's user error user error almost on every comment it's user error Man you need to sort your shit out and stop accusing people being stupid.
It’s most definitely a user error.
It's not an insult, it's a fact.
It's irresponsible to go around saying I'm insulting people when I'm educating them.
Most people I talk to end up realizing they made a mistake on their end and indeed it was not the wallet that magically made their crypto disappear-that doesn't even make sense.
Is Tangem compatible with the pulsechain ecosystem tokens?
As of now, it’s not supported
This pretty clearly looks like a paid ad. Is it not?
No, it is not. Clearly.
Tangem can't be recovered, good luck travelling with it
You can generate a seed phrase.
What do you mean? It’s just like any wallet, you record your seed phrase and keep it in a safe place
Think about it, when ya crossing a border, have you forgotten the last 3years
@@lfg6215 Idk what you’re talking about.
@@lfg6215 What are you talking about? You can generate a seed phrase that can be used to recover your wallet on any device anywhere in the world. What does crossing a border have to do with it?
Tangem is trash. They don’t support my biggest holdings; EWT DAG CASPER
So that makes a wallet trash? L take
Still, any wallet is vulnerable to scam NTF scams as well as any other that you CHOOSE to engage with. Everything you said is pointless because it applies to all wallets aside from the new back up service. Your just promoting your sponsor lol.
What?
Ledger is the only company that offers a subscription based back door. Not sure what you’re talking about
i tried to make a simple swap through ledger live mobile. they keeped my eath without making the swap. and guess what , yep a third party....not happy
Hmmm. Thats interesting. Sounds like gas fees may have eaten up any ETH you had.
And all wallets that let you swap use a third-party to be fair, not just ledger
Tangem is such a bad card to store Crypto. Where are the many security features ect. This is a no buy.
Why is it a bad card to store crypto? It has numerous security features. Do some research before making false statements
If I could afford; Ngrave
Overpriced and not necessary imo
I wasnt satisfied.Too expensive for nothing.
