Love the video. I've heard that using at Hotwallet like metamask on a mobile device is bad practice, that being said wouldn't the mobile applications that work with these wallets also be bad too? Im new and dont know much.
I wouldn’t say it’s bad practice to USE a hot wallet on mobile. It’s bad practice to store your crypto in a hot wallet though.

When you say not safe to have the cypto in exchanges, you meant in the Spot wallet of the exchange right? If for instance the crypto is on a program, let's say the Binance Earn or Auto Invest etc, the cypto is also safe from hacking right as it is not in the Spot wallet of Binance(exchange) is it?
(Btw, I have Tangem wallet, thanks for recommending, because I think its the easiest cold wallet to use for beginners and stylish too 😎)

Is it possible to spread out your crypto into different tangem wallets for added security?
Of course. Create distinct seed phrases and transfer crypto accordingly to diversify across multiple Tangem wallets.
You can achieve this using a single set of Tangem cards, though having multiple sets may simplify the process.
Please make a video on BTC UTXO and how to consolidate it with ledger or one key wallets.
I’ll have to look into this as I’ve never done it myself.
@@cyberscrilla I've been doing a lot of research about UTXO and it makes the transaction fees very high in the long run if you don't consolidate your address. I am talking about couple hundred dollars every time you wanna transfer BTC if you have a couple thousand UTXO

Correct. Crypto lives forever on the blockchain. Wallets hold your private key used to access your crypto

Whats the fee for transaction to move coin to tangem?
I heard ledger is ridiculous on fees.
Transfer fees are dependent on the wallet you use. They are dependent on how busy the blockchain is at the time of your transaction.
Thoughts on multisig storage like gnosis (safe)?
Never used multi sig. Proper cold storage is enough for me. I don’t think the average person needs to use multisig. Unless your crypto portfolio is shared with someone else.
@@cyberscrilla agreed, I haven’t either honestly. But seems it would potentially mitigate if not eliminate phishing risks. Admittedly may be a bit overkill for the average user but as someone who’s lost some valuable nfts to phishing links, the feeling of only having yourself to blame is brutal. I’ll have to do more research. A quick glance at it shows that it’s a wallet that doesn’t use private keys/seed phrase.
I don’t like that personally. But I need to learn more about how MPC works

You didn't talk about hot wallets on how to ovoid bad things from happening can you give some tips in the comment about how to avoid them and I'm going to get a couple tangem cards with your code soon
Don’t store your crypto on a hot wallet.
That should be the main takeaway regarding hot wallets.
Also:
- Don’t click on random links
- Ensure your device and apps are always up to date
- Run malware scans if possible

There’s always a risk connecting any wallet to the internet especially when interacting with smart contracts.
Whatever wallet you use to connect to the internet make sure it’s not your main cold storage wallet. Use separate wallets

Sure. But you’re missing my point. Connecting any wallet to the internet has inherent risks, mainly phishing scams.

If you setup your Tangem Wallet (without the seed phrase), make sure to store your (3) cards in separate places. Because if you lose all three wallets, then you will lose your crypto...
I wouldn’t set up my Tangem wallet without a seed phrase personally. But for sure, keep the cards in a secure place.
