Sunday coffee ☕️ with Ken! Great video Ken! Seriously love the longer videos with the up close camera angles. Your driving skills are definitely improving…getting use to the new set up.

that's some good carnage. Glass, metal, and a bonus gas tank. I went wheeling in my RAV4 between Provo Peak and Y mountain one day (inadvisable) and now it holds like a gallon less!
Fun looking trail. I've notice from your videos that when hitting nearly any obstacle your head is out the window looking at the driver tire. Might I suggest that something that worked for me and may work for you? I try to look forward at the trail and take into consideration a good line, where the wheels and drivelines will be, and try to imagine if that line has me going over an obstacle with a tire or trying to make it miss the differential. With each slip and slide on a rock I try to update my metal image of the line with what my truck can do, and by continually looking forward I can update with a new section of obstacles in front and how I can navigate each section. I tried this after realizing that all the nice spotters that offered a hand each trip were just useless and it became much better to work out lines and how they apply to my rig. This was just a thought that instead of knowing 100% knowing where the front tire is you keep a good mental image of the obstacles in your head so that after some time you get to know where all four tires, and two diffs are 80+% of the time. BTW my buddies an I call the helpful but useless rando trail spotter Mr. Big Gulp after some guy came out of the woods to help a large group of new people to guide them to bust several ujoints and even a diff at Tahuya only to disappear off into the woods shortly after the carnage.
Thanks for the ideas. I look ahead, or walk ahead, pick a line, then watch my driver's tire because then I also know where my passenger tire is. So I pick a driver's tire line, and I know where my passenger side is based on that.
@@offroadhub.official i just like watching the tires going over stuff. :) its entertaining. Still looking ahead but that close up view watching the tires and suspension do work a big enjoyment
I love going to browns camp. I go there all the time. You should go to an event called jolly jeepers it's in July it's a really fun event at browns camp Oregon. You can take any rig that is street legal. It just has to be legal the trail is not to far. Me and my dad have been going there for ever.keep up the Great videos🤘
Remember the rear windows are useless anyway. Don't put glass back. I am the proud owner of I think the first 07 FJ Cruiser sold in VB VA. Also have a 1973 Pinzgauer.
PNW Trails - Wet, slippery, and tight with rocks. Recipe for body damage. Nice wheelin' though! Regarding the Expedition gas leak... No judgement, as we've all had "oh shit" moments, feeling rushed and not always making the best decisions, but it sure seems like there might have been some better solutions than trying to catch it. Maybe those were tried off camera... E.g. Putting a couple fingers on it for a moment and getting some JB weld putty,, or duct tape, or even stuffing a rag in to slow it, all seem better than letting it full drain.
I’ve always said if I blow out my rear side glass like that I’m gonna get a gull wing window kit. Pretty pricey and I don’t know if it’s useful for you or not. I’m betting I need recovery gear more often than you do 😂
@@offroadhub.official fair enough. Thanks for getting back to me. If you ever make your way to Massachusetts, look me up! Thanks again for all the filming.
Not a single person thought to grab one of the 4 gas cans on the back of the rig, or maybe one of the coolers I guarantee is in the back of every rig??
The gas cans already had gas in them. I don't know if anyone had a cooler, or if anyone had a cooler with a significant capacity. Or if anyone had a gas can or cooler that would have fit under the vehicle. But if one of those things existed, it's a great thought in hindsight.
Another great video as always. I Never get tired of watching your rig on the trail! 🍿🧈😎... Total bummer about the window. I like the sheet metal idea. Exo would be killer but would be a heck of alot of wieght gain.
I may have asked this in the past but is your atlas connected to your stock transfer case or is it bolted right to the transmission? When you mentioned switching from low low to just low it made me wonder if you had dual cases or if the atlas just has two different low gears. Still trying to figure out what tcase set up I’m going with in my 09 Tacoma.
The Atlas bolts directly to the factory transmission. It's a 4 speed Atlas. So I can put the Atlas in high or low, and the axles in high or low, and any combination of those. So I went from Atlas and axles low, to Atlas low axles high.
You know I’m just saying but a couple aluminum road signs would work pretty good to cut your dimensions out for those windows refurbish recycle Reused slightly five finger discount . America 🇺🇸

Ok! That's pretty cool.
Thank you spark adventure co. I came here just to say that.
Thanks for clarifying the rock thing, I was looking around and thinking there no way all those rock were brought in by dump truck !!
Nice when you said "turn driver.... no... the other driver!!" 😄😄😄
This is the most beautiful forest I have seen.
The Pacific Northwest is pretty amazing!
Battle scares make for good wheeling stories. Great job Ken, thanks to the guy for the awesome camera work. Happy trails

That is what you do mountain biking. Look 20-30ft ahead and pick your lines, you can go much faster that way.

This is so cool I’d love to go there is there easier trail with less body damage there ?
Yes! There are tons of easier trails, it's really beautiful!

I'm certainly considering my options other than glass for that corner. 😄
Since your fj is literally just a trail monster, why not replace the glass with sheet metal and paint it black?
Would be hard. I think that window is rounded.
I'm considering options! 😄
