It funny watching this as this is my backyard. The trails you ran aren't difficult at all. But you guys spotting each other through spots that my buddies and I just cruise through is a good reminder that everyone has different experiences that lead to different skill sets. The section at the tree was logged in 2021 and everyone was through fits over it. Forgetting that TSF is a working forest. The deep ruts on FB5 is now blocked by the way.
@@2009samr When you’ve got thousands more miles to go on a trip, there’s no room for a careless mistake or break that leaves you high and dry waiting for parts and a repair. Both of us have trails in our own backyards that we can cruise through as well. It’s all about knowing the terrain. Thanks for watching!
Ok video just wish there was more trails and natural ones that you just find as you drive. Miss how Oregon was before they closed all the forests and made it so you can only go on the trails they make. Hope I e day Oregon will be was it was .
The tree on Cedar Tree used to be in lush forest! That's crazy! This was fun, Grant. Takes me back to my old stomping grounds. I forgot how TIGHT these trails can be! Looks like you guys had a blast!
It appears that the State Forest allowed logging to take place in that area a few years back. We still had a great time and glad we were able to take you down memory lane! Thanks for watching!
Clear cuts are always off-putting. But they do their best to rotate areas for the overall health of the forest. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed!
@@SixOverland True that, reforestation regulations have helped a lot in that area. It's said we have more trees today in the USA than we had 100 years ago. Hope for forests and timberlands restored.
My backyard. I’ve been in TSF since the mid 80’s. Regularly. It drives the foresters nuts that the Cedar Tree isn’t even a cedar! The newest section is awesome on a clear day seeing every volcano from Mt Rainier, Mt Adam’s, Mt St Helens to Mt Hood and I believe the last one south is Mt Washington!
The spare tire bag is a Trasharoo. It’s a spare tire trash/storage bag. It gives us a dedicated space outside the vehicle to pack-out our trash. Pretty handy.
We get our music through Epidemic Sound. We used a few songs in this video, so it would be difficult to ID it. I’d suggest using Shazam :) Thanks for watching!
Jeeps are very capable, but the safety scores are horrid, and the reliability scores from consumer reports are some of the worst. I mean i would be very hesitant to wheel alone. Its a shame though, the Rubicons are probably THE most capable off road vehicle you can buy completely stock. Front and rear lockers. That's a very big deal. I went with the FJ Cruiser. It only has a rear locker but hardly use it. Still do like Jeeps though, no matter what.
Thank you for capturing the beauty of or forest. I am so happy you got to explore our beautiful state
@@PNWJeepadventures2022 We are too! Hope to get back there someday. Thanks for watching!
That was like the garden of Eden, tha beautiful PNW

What is the bag you guys are carrying over the spare? Brand etc.

Thank you for the quick response. I've been looking for one, also to hold firewood.
