  • DJI RONIN RSC 2 // Setup, Unboxing, Balancing - I wanted to help you setup your new DJI RONIN RSC2 Gimbal. This video is to help new gimbal users get their gimbal setup, as well as what the DJI RONIN RSC2 Gimbal looks like coming out of the package.
    If you have any questions about my gear, style of making films, videos, or content just ask below in the comments. I'm happy to help, and want help as much as I can (filmmaking is hard!). I hope to learn as much from all of you, as you can from me!

      @@touchtennis yeah that pro combo is really for people shooting MF a lot. I didn't think it was a need for me. As a kicker that MF thing only calibrates with CINE lenses, or lenses with a hard MF stop.

    great Tim
    I have recently bought the RSC2 and it is my first gimbal so bear with me.
    I have watched pretty much every youtube tutorial and could not really find an answer to my problem:
    When I try to do a smooth pan or orbit shot around a subject, I cant get the camera to stay 'locked on' the subject in terms of framing. The camera kind of pans in small horizontal steps and then jumps during the shots which means that the subject is not in the middle but jumps from left to right the whole time. I do not want to have to use warp or extra stabilization in post if possible. What do I have to do, in order to get these smooth pan and orbit shots? Is it my technique? My lens? Do I have to change motor and deadpan settings? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you for the video, my question is what the role of those cables?

    • @stuartwconwayphotographyan9745
      @stuartwconwayphotographyan9745 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Its for focus control and triggering the camera shutter through the app etc - basically communicating between the app/ camera and gimbal :-)

    I just got mine today. I'm anxious to balance it and give it a shot. What does the cable do?

    • @TimConnor13
      @TimConnor13  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It connects it to the camera. So you can control focus and the shutter. 👍👌

    Hi. I have a Canon 80D and I usually use a 50mm lens. I am thinking to buy the RSC2. Do you think it is the right choice in terms of payload and balancing? Appreciate your reply

    • @TimConnor13
      @TimConnor13  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the payload will support that total weight, yes. It also comes down to what you want as an end user size wise. But if total weight is under the payload you'll get that silky smooth footage 🤘

    Is RSC2 support 5D MARK II?
