WOW! My wife just found your videos and we both LOVE them! So MANY great tips for shooting! I primarily use drones but my wife is using her iPhone to get B roll shots for me to edit so NOW, with your help, our productions will shine!
Love the video, thank you for this. One tip worth mentioning: When you do the shot that pushes right through the person, set your camera exposure to manual. Otherwise if you're not on manual, on the second shot where you're pulling away, the camera will go from dark to light and you'll overexpose the beginning of that shot.
@@heatherwoodley8244 exposure is the blow out, or light in a photo or video. How exposed it is. Placing the exposure on manual will allow u to determine this aspect, ensuring the black (or whatever color) be just that on the shots. On auto, the 2nd shot would've automatically applied exposure or light... This didn't sync with the first shot tho. Go into a black shit, and pass out of a dimmer black on, or a black shirt with vignettesque exposure around the edges and center mass. Fps is frames per second... These matter to the concept of real time vision vs what's produced from a camera and transmitted (aka all that's lost in this process). If u shoot me grabbing a glass at 60fps (pretend the whole motion takes 4 seconds), then in an editing app, every 60 frames u move through equate to 1 second of real time (240 frames). This is greatly gonna alter how this looks on screen btw... Shoot me grabbing the glass in 24fps, and every 24 frames equals 1 second (96 frames). Same scene, but by the math alone, the 60fps shot caught more of the motion, and in crisp fashion. The human eye sees at 60fps
I know it has been a while since you did this video, but I tried your moves out on my son and it came out great. It helps to remember framing by using the rule of thirds and noting the shots you used (ie. medium shot, close-up, medium close-up).

Tried them all today in 2 takes. Found the mini jib, orbit, and drone move the hardest.
