      I actually haven't worked with the DJI Ronin S yet. What are you having troubles with?

    • @ALLSTARSPACE
      @ALLSTARSPACE 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for replying! Basically it starts with the set up. We think we are ok when it comes to technology but this we can’t get balanced to start with. Thanks for your content we really appreciate you sharing your experience.

    • @JevenDovey
      @JevenDovey  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So to balance any gimbal you just need to start on the motor closest to camera and work your way out to the handle. Its all about finding the point when you can move the camera in any direction on a motor and it doesn't fall or drop. It should stay in place no matter where you set the camera. I should do a video about balancing any gimbal because it does take practice.

  • @JadeSambrook
    @JadeSambrook ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Please tell me that you are applying some type of warp stabilizer or heavily editing your footage is post because Im walking and holding the gimbal (RS3 Mini) exactly like you and it's very wobbly. Maybe it's my camera (Sony ZV-E10) maybe I got a bad gimbal or maybe I just really suck. In one shot you are running and there is zero jitter. Im not even running and I cant get a decent result using the RS3 Mini. Anybody else have this same experience?

    • @JevenDovey
      @JevenDovey  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No post stabilization. The key to getting smooth gimbal shots even with the small RS3 Mini is making sure the camera is balanced perfectly and then making sure you're gimbal is calibrated properly. On the RS3 Mini you can click the auto calibrate button and it does it for you. From there you just need to practice moving with a gimbal because a gimbal by itself does not give you good footage. Its a tool like anything else and takes practice to get the movements looking super smooth

I’ve watched all your vids about gimbal moves and setup (I’ve also watch all your other helpful vids on using a drone, the DJI mic, etc). I’ve definitely balanced it right and calibrate it regularly as well. So I guess I’ll just have to keep practicing the walk and moves. Again, thank you so much Jeven for all your super helpful vids.
