    The best supercar on the market right now!! Every time I had the chance to drive the 296, I loved it more and more! Ferrari charges about that for Apple CarPlay too. 😂 Since their customers don’t buy $30K cars, I guess they don’t know these things come standard on almost everything else. And speaking of soaking their customers, the GTS costs about $50K more than the GTB coupe. For comparison, BMW and Porsche charge about $12-13K more for the 8 series and 911 cabs. And Chevy charges a mere $7,500 more for the super trick folding hardtop on the mid engined C8, including the Z06. So yeah, Ferrari is in an alternate universe on that as well.

    • @hoost3056
      @hoost3056 13 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @richsimpson450 I agree. Chevy copied the Ferrari 458 to great effect, making a true 'Murica version. The issue with me though is that exotics in general are not special anymore, since all of them, except for a few, are owned by big corporates that build lesser vehicles.

      @@richsimpson450 Not defending Ferrari with the following response, but Apple Carplay was £2300, not £4000. Apparently, most of that cost would actually go back to Apple themselves, as licensing fees, rather than Ferrari. They have since made Carplay standard on new Ferraris. Ferrari owners definitely knew they were getting fleeced with Carplay costs but "it is what it is".

    Ferrari's vision is something a lot of people have starting to disagree with in recent days. But people forget that this is one of the if not the most iconic automotive brand in the world. They know very well what they are doing. Their cars recently have been outperforming cars from other brands. Can't help but think that this is a big advert for all the 296's currently up for sale. People seem to be off loading them at quite a rate

    All things aside, V6 engines have the potential to sound really good. Think of Nissan GTR R35, or the Jaguar F-type V6

    i will add we dont buy these cars for lap times or even racing pedigree. its about the emotion and sound that comes from the car ! who cares if its 3 seconds faster around a track if on the road when you are just pottering along it doesnt scream !

    Click bait, but I didn't mind because I like this car. I don't recall the skepticism Rory reports here, but maybe we occupy different silos. Instead, I remember that every car channel raved about the 296's performance, But after so many months after the other reviews, how can Autotrader get attention reviewing a 296 now?

    I dare Ferrari to put a 1,6 v6 with a 50/50 hybrid line in one of it´s cars(F1/2026). With heritage from Alfredo.
