Speedrun for Forgotten Saga rogue-lite game mode in Valhalla, aka speeding thru as fast as possible thru the realm of Niflheim (Realm of the dead). All boss battles, cutscenes skipped, no editing, no commentary no Bull**** 😂

NEW Patch 1.6.0 is out! Niflheim 4th dlc (free) & Sigrblot festival is making a comeback same quests new rewards and hopefully more opals for free again like last time.
Title update 1.6.0 will be deployed on all supported platforms tomorrow, August 2, 2022, at 12 pm UTC/GMT, 2 pm CET, 8 am EDT, 5 am PDT, and 10 pm AEST

Honestly with some luck within 25 mins is still possible for me, this mode is so much fun once you get the best gear and fully level up your skills. 😎

My current best time is 4 hour 30 minutes for a full run, including sacrificing Odin to Hel at the end.
Great job brother Skatha! 🔥 I've been really enjoying this free rogue-lite game mode, the rewards are nice and unique tbh 👍🏻 hopefully this year we will more surprises from Ubisoft like this one. As always a great video.

Yeah, I got 1500 silver completelty random as well when I logged in today. Great run Skatha, gg , you had to really get in there with Mjolnir. I keep my distance with Gungnir mostly! You should have a GG wolf emoji!

Great job @skatha!!! I just got the trophy for beating the dragon without using a health shrine and I did it in the alfather set which is the first outfit we get

At first i feared the dragon boss..But now its my favorite boss haha, still..Hel is the hardest one for me out of the four.
If selected couple abilities ain't used it is the hardest, last one is pretty easy if you just keep dodging
Brilliant. Took me a few attempts to kill Hel in Draugr's Tol armour and get the Sacrificial Victory trophy, but I did it. I would in no way be able to speed run it the way you did. 👍🏻
Few more repeats and im sure you can 😜at first took me couple tries as well for hel after using the skill tree and finding the weapons that work for you its easy, kinda
@@Skatha Haha.. I'll give it a go but it'd be very useful if there were a mini gun like the one Arnie uses in T2: Judgment Day. Cut through those bosses like they were butter!

Well done mate👍. Im surprised you didnt hit some of the health upgrades on the way, even if u skipped the rest. Great effort doing it without.
Id like to see you try it with no coins carrying over to buy skills and health with, that way you wouldnt be able to skip everything but bosses. Would be a great challenge.
Btw I ended up with free silver like that too, when i returned from nifleheim on my 11 or 12th run. No idea why.
Without any health upgrades etc? So with starting gear and without favors 🤔 interesting
@@Skatha you could do it either way. Starting gear, with no favours, coins or gems to help at start. Or allow favours for the weapon and ability, but no coins and gems to buy health etc at the merchants.

I think speedrunning whilst trying to earn the bare minimum of coins needed to upgrade enough to survive the bosses is an interesting and hard challenge. The merchant health antlers helheim is essential to survival, so having to earn some coins to get them would be a speedhump for sure. It would be a balance of doing enough to survive, but not so much it slows the run time too much.
This rogue lite mode reminds me when we were young and playing on a ps2 but dint have a memory card so starting over everyday and seeing when can we reach the furthest

Yes, shortly after dealing with The Phantom (daily quest), I saw a message pop up, but it wasn't on long enough to read what it was about? A few seconds later a 2nd message appeared. That was on screen long enough to take in the fact that 1500 silver had been granted 😎👌As to speed runs, the thought of doing one had not crossed my mind. At least not until now 😎

That stupid dragon!!! Now i killed it but somehow it fell on me and i died in poison because, well stuck in the dragon.
Omg that must have sucked. But at least you know you can do it now, you will be stronger on your next nifleheim run so im sure you will kill him and get even further.
