    Sode-Tsuri-Komi-Goshi was my favored technique for a passive and with stretched arms blocking opponent in matches. Often I succeed.

    I absolutely loved this video, my favorite one so far for sure, as I always had trouble bringing the arm up for sode. I was about to ask for something like this so when it popped up I got very excited! Maybe you could do a similar video, but on ashi/o guruma??? Thank you so much for putting in the effort make these quality videos!

      Edgar D.T. I like how he gives some suggestions with attacking from a grip and that throw isnt on tittle of video, from those small details you can learn a lot

    Hawaii has the best judo people ever trained over there a bit it’s crazy

  • @arash5458
    @arash5458 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    People who say judo doesn't work usually try this kinda thing on someone and it doesn't work (they can't get that hand off of themselves)and I think both technique and strength is important and if you train judo properly you can improve both of those and see a huge difference when performing a move like this

    Question about the high level throw, is the perpuse to insure the ippon? Is it more risky in an ufc setting for example or just more difficult to execute it properly?

    • @isa100kg
      @isa100kg 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For competition judo, one is looking for the ippon. Because there is no gi, many techniques are more difficult to execute in mma. However, koshi guruma and harai goshi are seen fairly often in UFC

      O guruma and harai goshi look pretty similar. I would say harai goshi for that one.
