Cool to see an older Japanese bike with a disk brake on the rear
Fr
They are Minty!!! It's basically a yamaha warrior with 4x4 and racks
Just like you ive always wanted one and never owned one. Ive been looking lately saw 2 nice ones for 600 and 800. They don't last, the one was back listed the next day for 3k from a different guy. I really want a blue one. Only problem is I have absolutely 0 room for one now between garages barns and buildings.
I always wanted one of those bikes also as a kid. I’m 39 now and probably a little overweight for one lol but still would like to have one. Cool video.
Fun little machines, just add some stiffer springs if needed.
its always great to new vids from rock!!
Glad you think so!
I had a 150 on my wolverine carb and it was perfect
I had an 05' wolverine that the plug would foul every spring. I kept a few on hand because of it. Loved the yama wolverine but it really took its toll on my back. Lol !
Hopefully we see a video on that blue big bear!
Get you a wolverine I got rid of my 99 3 weeks ago I still have a 01 they tough bikes I love them fun and sporty
Past 4 yamaha 350cc machines all had the same dead spot it the throttle like that on the stock jets
Love the channel Rock the content is always educational and super informative i personally love the type of conent you post keep up the great work
Thanks you! I’m glad you enjoy this stuff.
Thought for sure it was going to be a bad stator! Glad it was something simple this time!
I think you should do a series on that ford pickup next to this rig and fix it up! That would be a cool change from the quads
I should do that, I’ve been meaning to get her going anyways.
@@rockspowersports I think it would be fun to watch and see it going again! Got the right guy on the job
Hello! Really nice video, lot of advise in it. I have an old Yamaha ATV so the advise come in handy. My Yamaha has JIS screws, not phillips (a dot on the head) so when I got a JIS set of screwdrivers the life got a bit easier. Try a set for yourself and find out!
Shop is looking good!
Rock maybe some more shop upgrades or forklift videos why not I'll watch
I always wanted one of those when I was a kid too!
It says no views so first and 4 seconds love the vids can you do more of your machines
Thanks! I will try and get to my machines soon.
@@yeahright302 Fr but I am a big fan of
Might want to check the timing & the flywheel. May have sheared the key?
Awesome video Rock! My original thought was the short gas tank vent was letting rain in and judging by the faded plastics. The other thing is on the float on the Yamaha’s have an O-ring on them. Im from chicago suburbs and they don’t sell non-ethanol fuel by me. My 01 600 grizzly’s float o-ring was completely gone already. I couldnt find a replacement part and just ordered the entire assembly. I probably could have used an oring from a kit but didnt wanna risk having to tear it apart again.
My big bear 350 ran exactly the same as the wolverine in this video. I had a crack in my intake boot that was causing it to run like that.
As soon as it was under load from 1/4-1/2 throttle it would do it but i didn't do it at wide open throttle
Rock you need a set of forks for that tractor to pick up the non runners
I got a set of clamp one that I need to try out.
This will be very helpful I have the exact same atv with the exact same sputtering problem
The Kubota sounds like it’ll be the next rebuild 😂 at least from a video prospective I know it’s a diesel but it sounds abnormally loud for one reason or another ?
Howdy duty its been a bit since ive seen you upload have a great night
It’s been a few days for sure!
That Kubota sounds bad!
She is pretty noisy.
Bad? Lol. It just needs a connecting rod delete.
A friend of mine ran a deere farm tractor with one cylinder disconnected for almost 5 seasons of haying before the next cylinder put a handy window into the side of the block. 😂
But, those kubotas are a 3rd the cost of a green tractor and last longer.
@@highlandermachineworks5795 I had the opposite problem. I bought a new kubota and had a lot of problems. Bought a JD 3 years ago and not one problem. Each is there own
@mndoing having been a mechanic for a dealer to both, orange and green, I assure you that the insiders of this industry like myself have the experiences to judge both brands. Like it or not the green ones aren't as reliable.
In the end, I spent half the money and got twice the tractor than my green obsessed neighbor. With over 1500 hours (670 as a rental) and the rest of my use in rocky mountainous terrain my 2016 b26 has provided me 100% reliability.
@@highlandermachineworks5795 I’ll disagree.
I wash every one I work on , don't like dirt when working on
When you going to do the 6 speed swap on the motorcycle like to see that for sure
Arkansas Wavin
Hey rock left you a couple messages I know your flooded and busy I got a 2002 quest 650 I can get it to get power but I think the ecu is bad, it’s a mess didn’t know if you would mind working on it I got it at a good price but it needs brakes and possibly tires.
Hey rock I’ve seen you videos a lot know you know your power sports like my dad. I’m looking for a front drive shaft to fit my 1994 Yamaha Kodiak do you have a big bear that has a driveshaft we can get off you
That tractor sounds baddd, possibly a repair vid on it?
You could read those jets?....must be nice to be young....lol....
What camera setup are you using for your test drives? And is that what you use for your normal recording?
Your tractor always sounds like it is going to grenad
Yeah she needs some love.
I think I found a drive shaft on ebay for the unit. $65
Hey bud, i got a 1996 timberwolf. The lights all work including the reverse and neutral indicator when the quad is running.
but without the quad running none of the lights including both the headlights and taillights work . with the engine off and the ignition to on no power to any of the bulbs on the machine. What would cause this a bad ignition switch? Like i say the lights all work when its running but when its not none of them work even with the key to the on position
Loved the video and i plan on watching future
that tractor doesnt sound happy!
any ideas how to make the Yamaha Grizzly 700 faster?
Hey Brock, I know a lot of your customers probably also watch your videos, but I always wonder how you price these fixes. Do you price it per job or by the hour?
I’m in NC (us) and have a small engine /ATV business I run on the side I charge 65 an hour plus parts.
Would a big bear drive shaft fit?
I have a 2007 kfx 700 that I rebuilt the carb put new spark plugs in and changed fuel filter and cleaned gas tank out and adjusted valves, when in neutral it will rev up no problem but when in gear will run fine tilll I go ¾ to full throttle then it starts to sputter out and I can't figure out why. You have any ideas on what it could be? I know it's hard to tell without having hands on it buy you have any guesses? Exhaust has little leak where the two pipes go into muffler but didn't think that would cause that but not positive!?
My sportsman also had that issue. ¾ throttle would sputter, ended up having some water in my magneto. Cleaned it out and it works good now. I'm not familiar with the kfx 700s but maybe check in there.
Thank you ill check that out. It was fine when I parked inside for the winter and was out of weather then come spring I took it out and it would t start so I did all that and I runs good except that.
Out of curiosity's sake, did you look at that yet? Wondering if that was your issue.
Could the float height being too high also have caused a rich condition?
That’s a warrior carb my 01 has a warrior carb
It’s pretty much the same engine as a Warrior.
@@justinstearns9723 I know this
We have a wolverine with no spark
i hate them bikes not a very good junker
