Fun Fact : The original HG Exia didn't have thigh swivels, only HG Exia Repair variant has them.

Amazing week
TBH, Dark Matter was the worst on my case. The backpack is literally a hand grenade and it fall off quite often. The protruding foot part can actually pop off with a single flick, and the chest vent doesn’t hold on that well. Hell, even when added with the Trans-Am Booster, it topples over to the back while being back heavy.
Exactly, I glued most if its parts, just so it can stand in my collection.
I can confirm that.
On the foot part, I think you should push it down further the tip of the foot for a more secured connection. I was worried at first as well, but when I've done this, they don't pop off on a single flick. They actually feel solid now.
They have the same backpack so they're equal. But the chest, I'm not sure why but the design feels so weak.
But I'm biased towards the Dark Matter because it's red and black 😁
For me the worst part are the arm joints, they loosen up soo much over time and it cant even hold up the shield for mine

I'd agree for the season 1 kits, but most of the season 2 and trailblazer kits still hold up pretty well.

I have the Dark Matter version of this kit. Here are the differences
The GN Sword only has a beam
GN Fire and Ice Sword
No shield
Dark Matter Booster looks cool.

You can make Amazing GN Sword by attaching Amazing GN Blade (just blade) into Amazing GN Rifle. Take off the bottom of Amazing GN Rifle then insert Amazing GN Blade into the available slot. I've tried it and it works. (Sorry for my bad English)

I wanted to put that GN beam feature on the sword on the shield. So I filed down a GN Beam saber handle, cut out a slot at the tip of the shield; and let me tell ya IT LOOKS AWESOME 🤩

The amazing exia was my first Gunpla to build, and I love it, it's one of my favorites. But sadly now, after 2 years 3 parts already broke out of nowhere and it can't no longer hold the blades and swords

These 00 hgs are my favourite kits to play around with. They're both simple and solid.

Been contemplating between that and dark matter in terms of which is better ^^;;
My first, and for now only, Gundam kit is the HG 00 raiser+gn sword III and I LOVE how excessive it can get with all the weapons! If I can mount all of the cool shit on that thing, I will.

First kit I did a custom painting for. Came out nice minus some hiccups on a few smaller parts.
I literally finished this kit only like 3 days ago. Mine was a fun build but the backpack wings and waist sword are fairly loose and fall off pretty easily

I got this kit at Sakura-Con 2018, and since I loved it since.

You should review the hg Astraea type F,it comes with a lot of accessories and leftover parts/weapons.
True, though too bad the RG kinda not worth the price tag
One downside is the fact that it uses the old HG Exia mold, so it doesn't have thigh swivels.

I recommend the HG Astraea f type. its has a ton of guns and you won't be disappointed its only like 1800 yen
The downside is that HG Astrea was based on the old HG Exia, not Exia Repair II, therefore there's no thigh swivels :-V
And I know a certain toy addict with a Batman mask and a Godzilla logo would be mad if there's no thigh swivels spotted :-V
This ones one of my fav Hg of all time, sure the articulation isn't that mind boggling but its exactly what you need and mines still solid as rock, having so much articulation sometimes the kit becomes flimsy. I have both the Dark matter and Amazing Exia and I kitbash them and they look awesome.

The mg is quite hard now,the full package still have but the universe bootser is so rare,i buy one on ebay is quite expesive
With some panel line and gold , silver sharpie here and there Im shure this model can look premium
You should review the transient and denial again. I have them and even after a few years they seem to be pretty sturdy plus I wanna see what rank they'll be in

that kits was outstanding
All version of the Exia can use the GN Swords as normal swords, but Setsuna chose not to as to save time for some cqc engagement. There are times where he had used the Normal Sword form of the GN Sword
do you mean the GN Sword Kai??? the blade of that is based off materials used in GN condensers, he can change the blade to the physical one (silver), the R3 might even be equipped with the gn short/long sword
@@ChrisTian-sd5yq It's when the GN Sword is perpendicular with the handle. It's a rarely used configuration that really only matters when he is fighting another sword fighter and needs the flexibility. Most of the time, he uses the normal configuration because it has reach he doesn't need the leverage.

This kit brings me nostalgia
The color inaccuracies and seam lines are what HGs were like from that time. It's part of why I would like a 'Revive' line up of the HG 00 kits.
What you could've done with this release is also compare it with the HG PPGN-001 Gundam Exia Dark Matter.
Something I don't like about the HG & MG release of PPGN-001 Gundam Exia Dark Matter is how only the Prominence Blade comes in a clear orange whereas the Brinicle Blade is the normal gray color when it could've been chrome silver on the MG or maybe a clear blue for both releases.
What I'd like to see Bandai make is an RG for:
- PPGN-001 Gundam Amazing Exia
- PPGN-001 Gundam Amazing Exia [Trans Am]
- PPGN-001RE Gundam Amazing Exia Repair
- PPGN-001RE2 Gundam Amazing Exia Repair 2
- PPGN-001 Gundam Exia Dark Matter
- PPGN-001 Gundam Exia Dark Matter [Trans Am]
My kit was unbuildable. I ended up using the functional parts for my favorite kitbash but I do still love the aesthetic.

I have this one, mine have several issue, like the binders didn't go well into its hand, left knee little bit loose, hip holster easily pop off. But still looks good I guess

Be warned. The HG Exia Repair II I picked up a few years back did not age well. I would not be surprised if that is the case here as well.
I honestly think its absurd that we haven't gotten an HG Exia Revive yet.
Maybe next year who knows, maybe it will be 10+ years after Repair 2 release
