Can we just talk about how good of a mecha designer Naoki is?
like holy shit, its so good looking, and you know its a strike variant, but it removes everything that makes it resemble a strike, but your mind is telling you "this is a strike" like wtf
It looks like a MS from Gundam 00 because of the color and weapons
Thats why Denial Gundam still is my favorite Gundam ever.
Let's hope we see more Naoki design based on popular Gundam like Astray Red Frame or Unicorn Gundam.

Fun Fact : This gunpla belongs to Satsuki Tooru, the person who introduce Gundam/Gunpla to Yuuki Tatsuya (Meijin The Third). It makes the same debut with Amazing Strike Freedom.
Edit : Also, this is based from the person's first gunpla, Strike Gundam. Basically he customized it so much since the first time he used it when he was a kid with Tatsuya.
That guy had some ideas. He even went so far as to attach the Archangel as a striker pack. Also your profile pic is cool. Imohtep!
@@DarkROSkull013 He customized it with 7 Sword, Archangel, Double X, he even made the original custom weapon that we only see from mags hobby appendite.

@@wishyoualldogooddiegreat1097 Yeah, as Mecha Gaikotsu stated, this gunpla appears in Amazing Ready/AR, which is set before the first season and aftermath of it, but not that close before Try. So basically after first season, Meijin build Amazing Strike Freedom and somewhere around that meets Tooru (builder of this Glitter Strike) again after years apart. Also around this time period Lady Kawaguchi build the Lunagazer Gundam too. It is stated by Meijin himself that while Amazing Strike Freedom/ASF build is completed, he still feels there's something lacking, that's why he didn't used it in later world tournaments and instead build a new one, Red Warrior which debuted in 8th world championshop tournament and we first saw it in Try.

@@malachimusclerat Actually, they have done that several times with P-Bandai kits released in the US. If I’m not mistaken, the MG Astray Turn Red, 00 XN Raiser, and Avalanche Exia were all P-Bandai kits in Japan and surrounding Asian countries, but since the US didn’t have Gundam kits available for sale on the US P-Bandai site (until late 2019/early 2020) those same kits were just sold as regular releases.
However, with the advent of the US Premium Bandai site now selling pre-orders for Gundam kits, the likelihood of something similar happening again in the future is low, since they would just sell the same kits again on their own site in limited quantities rather than make them full releases just for a few countries outside of Japan

Buy & build this kit probably 2 years ago. For me who love strike gundam, this kit is love at first sight. A very nice addition to my strike collection.

The first one was his childhood friend and the second was his rival and son of the man he admires and respect...
I love seeing kits like these, within the media they are from they are customs based off another model using quite a bit of scratch built features. However it is rare to see things like this within our own universe, mostly colour variations or very minimal scratch built parts.
For anyone confused to the Hi-Nu Gundam "Vrabe"
it's supposed to be Ni-Nu Gundam "BRAVE." THAT SOUNDS A LOT BETTER

This kit honestly reminds me of the duel gundam and blu duel gundam. If you have a spare strike gundam shield and pop it onto the right shoulder you got a blu duel gundam, and attach it onto the left arm and give it a beam rifle (not those damn pistols) you got the duel gundam

I have a conspiracy theory that NAOKI is actually a collab between NAgano and katOKI. All NAOKI designs look inspired by both (especially the Hyaku Shiki Crash and Qubeley Damned, both based on old Nagano designs from when he was working on Zeta before he did Five Stars Stories.
as someone who hates the strikes design i do love some of the variants like the strike noir and build strike full package, this is added to the list of strike variants i love. going above the build but right below noir

Glacier is from Build Fighters Honoo Try, which is a photo novel. But frankly I can get the confusion since A, AR and Honoo have no official English versions

I like the fact that this variant easily is the most "custom gunpla" design ever of a strike gundam.

I think the Backpack of Iori Seys Build Strike Gundam Full Package would fit very nicely on that Model and would boost the firepower of it even more.
And for the Close Combat Weapons, the Sideskirts of the Star Build Strike Gundam with the Beam Swords on them.
The Sideskirts only would need a little bit of blue, insted of the red they normaly have on them. ^^

i'm made to think of the 00 diver ace and the try age magnum.
Somehow this Strike Gundam looks like Gundam Age-2 normal and 00 Gundam in my opinion.
This is the coolest strike I ever own, too bad I didn't get amazing strike freedom for exchanging the shoulder binder

i wanna bet on the fact that naoki probably made a custom of this first and THEN drew the design for the Tall Strike. theres just so many aspects to this that just screams "custom made in real life" kinda feel. like its something ray studio would do

a nice nod that the pistols are sawed-off versions of the Strike's Beam Rifle which modders in real life would actually do.
I find it funny how GBF takes a lot of design elements form seed for the MC MS

I'd have expected it to have been built by Sei because of the face that it looks like a perfect blend of the 3 forms of Seis design philosophy, the build burning Gundam, star build strike, and the build Gundam mark 2

Mecha, you literally just build the HGCE Aile Strike few months ago. Also you have a PG, MG and RG of this gundam, how could you missed that the rear thrusters were upside down?

Im new to the Gunpla Kit community. What RG models can you guys suggest? I came from Bandai's Figure-Rise kits and was wondering what would be the best beginner-friendly RG kits you guys can suggest? I also read that there is a problem with older models of the RG kits where the joints are not as sturdy as the 2020 kits, is there a way to determine what kits should I avoid?
