425lb is insane. My CBR600 is only 8lbs lighter. With 113hp. This will be my next bike. I’m waiting to see if they’re going to update for ‘24. They’re due. I really love this matte black though.
@adnan_Ok people prefer to have the extra power whem you needed instead kf not having it. 1000cc bikes are much more smooth and comfortable on the highway
I also want to add theres a few mods you can do like remove the rubbers into the airbox add you a high performance air filter and straight pipe type exhaust and your gonna have 195 horse to the rear wheel versus 189 stock ok???
Hello from Spain! Thanks for this video! I needed it! Because I’ll have this motorbike exactly in 2 weeks and you are the first people that explain everythings about display screen!! Thank you!! And sorry for my english! You have my like and suscribe ✌🏼
beautiful bike man, absolutley perfect........am not a fan of all black but with just enough red accents it looks very classy....cant go wrong with a Honda
Dude you really need to try the quick shifter my bike is also a 2017 but mine is slammed and stretched lol the quick shift is awesome!!!! Your gonna love it!!!! Thanks for the video very nice and informative for anyone that's not already familiar with this model of bike I love mine!!! More bike than I'm ever gonna need lol
I currently own a cb650r and thinking about getting a 2018 one second hand but almost brand new with just 4000miles in it...and specially this one because the new RRR price is insane at this point so any comments sugestiones input about this as a owner? Thanks
2017 and 2018 have anti wheelie integrated in traction control, 2019 has a seperate menu for that and on the black colour instead of red accents 2019 has grey
When you installed the slip on did you attach the engine breaking cable? I have the same bike and would like to put a slip on, but don't want to mess up the electronics. Nice review. Thanks for sharing!
I had to remove the servo motor. I put a servo buddy, that's like 60$ but failed to work after 2 weeks or so. Then i found this info online on how to reset the engine light by bypassing some wires and it worked ever since
@@throttlechaser541 Did you notice a loss of low end power with the slip on? I know the factory exhaust has a valve that helps to maintain more torque low end before it open up higher in the rpms... was wondering before I add a slip on

Stick to your 600 , IMO; with a 1000RR you generally use less than 70% of power, 100% is RARE.
With a 600 you can squeeze out 90-95 % frequently.
What's the point of having so much power when you can not use it, at least on the road and not the track.
It's more than just peak power! For instance, the torque. The 1000 pulls easily in any situation and you don't have to go through gears that much
I like 1000cc bikes but they are an overkill for the road.
Much more economical and wiser to ride a 600, İMO.
$1000 for tyres every 6000km

Rear wheel hp stock is 150. All the mods you mention will bump it up to 170, MAYBE 175. Ceck mooremafia youtube channel. He did these mods to the bike

Enjoy the bike!
Now this is a video that needed tobbw made
Beautiful
If you havent driven with a Quick Shifter you need to get on it, the 1000rr has up and down for the shifting.
First thing I did to mine, managed to get a genuine Honda one on ebay for 300 quid and fitted it myself...
I have a video where i did that. It's awesome
Beutyful bike.❤👍👍👍
Great bike, question what bar end mirrors are they ?
Just some cheap mirrors from amazon which i don't recommend. If you like them buy some expensive ones
You need a quickshifter pal..best mod you can make to a bike.transforms it
check my other videos. i added one at a point
@@throttlechaser541 ah i see.i will do then i did not realise sorry
useful vid
Thank you
I'm looking at buying the same bike I noticed when I started it the traction light was on and the abs light is that normal when running in neutral??
That's normal when you first start the bike. It goes away when you go over 10mph
I have this bike in a 2018 model. Where are you from I watched your NOLA track day! I live in Louisiana!
I am from alabama. I go at nola every now and then. Last time i ve been there were 2 more just like mine(the black color) and one sp model
Did have any problems when you install Leo Vince slip on like rpm going up and down while idling?
No problems at all
Thank you bro for the detailed info.
Can you also take a video with pro and contra of this bike?
Thank you and take care of you
Ilove it n I need it, am from Ghana 🇬🇭.
Let me hear 👂 from you bro can I get some
Nice bro 👍 👍

Nothing bad about it. It was a good bike for me. No problems. Not too many miles tho. Below 3000
any difference between 2017 and 2019 version?

@@throttlechaser541 thanks man, gonna copy your setup haha. Love the looks 👌 😍 🔥
The pipe doesn't have a heat guard . Have you burned your leg?
No chance to get burned, is low, small and behind your heel
Dream bike😭😭
I am selling it lol
Inst EB 3 the most engine break? Thats what is says in the book
Yes, EB is engine break. 1 is the most noticeable and 3 is the least
I think level 1 EB is the minimum engine breaking.
I have CBR 1000RR SP
@@adnan_Ok Thank you
I think T is actually torque control isnt it? Or am i wrong?
My '17 the manual says t is for torque
Either way this video helped me alot giving me a general understanding of how to work the modes so thank you
Glad you found it helpful!
@throttlechaser541 i definitely did. Thank you man. Just got the 17. First time having a bike with digital dash and different modes lol
Lovely bike! Have you ever had your bike dyno ? Where did your stats from ?
Thank you! No dyno. That is what you honda claims
Is there a fuel range?
Only when you are low on fuel you get one and it comes on at around 35 miles left
just fyi you can chip it from honda then its insane speed.
Does this bike have fuel gauge or distance to empty ??
Not a fuel gauge but it has the distance to empty and it comes on when there are around 40 miles left
@@throttlechaser541
Thanks for reply tc
Thanks,
170miles damn! I barely get 70miles on the same bike
Como escuchar ese video en español
I think I observed your front wheel has a damage , is it?? If yes, bro you taking crazy risk !!! Let's hope I'm wrong 👍
No damage, all good
it’s black tape over the weights used to balancing the wheel. all race tracks require it.
FRONT NOW NO HAVE TURN SIGNAL.???
No
@@throttlechaser541 ok bro tq..
And recently i removed the mirrora as well. I know is not right but is easier for when i take it to track
🙄🙄🙄😵😵😵🥴😭🙂 ❤️👍🏻
No se entiende un joraca
Whatever happened to turn the key and ride? Unnecessary shit
Would that dash work on the 2016 model ?
Idk. 2016 it's a different bike
