- From its introduction in 2004, the Honda CBR1000RR (Fireblade, in other countries) has always been a light, agile machine with astounding acceleration. In normal street riding and occasional track excursions, the CBR1000RR produced far more performance than most of us could fully tap, but somehow it was tamed into a real-world package. Make no mistake, this weapon astonished and delighted all but the most battle-hardened veteran of the superbike wars. One would think that having produced such a beautifully balanced, incredibly fast machine, Honda would have been happy to sit on its laurels and merely tweak the CBR1000RR for 2006. But, no, that would have been too easy for a company that’s so committed to racing and technical innovation. Derived from the MotoGP RC211v that took the inaugural 4 stroke era title with Valentino Rossi atop, this bike has turned heads since its introduction in the bike marketplace. Once upon this focused Honda you will be inspired to take those turns a bit more seriously. So don't hesitate on owning a revered classic. This bike like all our bikes will be fully serviced, inspected and detailed at the time you take delivery. See this and other great deals at www.cyclehunters.com

Bout to retire mine and put it in the living room! this color scheme is iconic and i doubt Honda will bring it before 20 years!!
I have an 07 CBR1000RR Fireblade with black fairings with Red Flames and it says Fireblade I need to replace the Stator or Rectifier and it's ready again. It's in mint condition and here it is October 28 2023. Only 33k miles and love it. I don't think I could ever sell it and I am 50 years old. Only thing that sucks is I can't ride All Year every day because I live in Indiana by Louisville Kentucky and it gets cold here by that Ohio River lol. It's a great bike and I am proud to own it. It still gets the looks.
prolly stator, remove it and check for damage, i got mine rewound as a new one wasn't a fair price imo
I have the same bike with the same body kit.
The R1 came out in 98.
The other manufacturers came around in 04.
I personally own a 04 CBR1000RR.
Changed the front brake master cylinder, added steel lines and Ohlins front and rear.
She's a keeper.
I have a 04 as well. I changed my fairings to the 06/07 fairings. -1 tooth front sprocket and plus 2 teeth on the rear sprocket. Full yoshi exhaust.
@cabooe21 nice. Oh, I also changed the 04-05 shock linkage to the 06-07 linkage geometry.
@ I thought everything was the same except for the air box and radiator and fairings.
@@cabooe21 the rear shock valving, spring rate and geometry is different.
If you look, while setting your rear sag you will see that there is next to no spring preload unless you weigh a lot, like 230# or more. It was sprung for two up in my opinion.
The front brake master cylinder and the rear shock and suspension geometry is the most bang for the buck in mods for that bike.
I have a short vid on my channel of a run up the road.
@ I'm going to look into this weekend. Thanks for the info. And I'm bout to checkout your video.
I got one repsol edition. I simply love this bike. Not one bike can come close to this beauty. I will never part with my bike.
Bike of my dreams. ❤
Had a lot super bikes. But not the Honda!!! Must have❤❤❤❤
I’ve got a 05 cbr1000rr Repsol edition, love it and the reliability of Honda
Tough to beat that for sure. Great bikes.
I enjoyed your wonderful movie Thanks for sharing the video!! ❤😊
I have the same bike here in Australia with 19870km with blue wheels and swing arm
Wowwwwww this HONDA CBR1000RR is immaculate...
It's really nice for sure. But it has its blemishes here and there for a bike that's 16 years old.
I love the sc57. Such beautiful bikes. I have 3 of them. One Repsol fireblade, 2nd HRC fireblade imported, and third is my daily cbr1000rr.
Ive owned a 2004 cbr 600 and 1000 a 2006/2007 1000rr and now a 2017 1000rr and the modern bike absolutely stomps the older bikes in every way.The older bikes are still amazing but the 2017+ is in another league.
I love it! Especially with the Rossi stickers what more could anyone ask for. Beautiful bike 🏍! This is when super Sport bike's where super Sport bike's! I was Sold when saw the Valentino Rossi stickers.
For us it was the correct stickers to leave on the bike. That's very rare for us is to leave something like that on any bike. But for this one it made sense.
I have this exact year bike and i love it. Its the best and i love the hondas because your not humped over to ride it.
Just got a 05 Red & Black 1000RR with 21000 super clean for 5000$ .Looks pretty much new and 🪰
I have a custom red white and blue respol 06 fireblade and i love it. 16k miles. Has Power commander 5 and Yoshimura exhaust. Just awesome power and a lot of fun. Sold my 929 fireblade at 68k miles.
That chuckle when you rev the bike for the first time🔥❤️
Kinda just gets ya. Haha
I have a 2004 CBR1000K with 29K on and I love it but man it's a kill on long rides. With power commander and a tune and Everytime I romp on the throttle that front end raises. It definitely turns heads
This byyke, it's fast byyke, clean byyke, analog byyke
I had the 2007 CBR1000RR it only had 4 300 miles on it when i got it, it was in great condition it was the Silver with the blue lettering with a silver wind screen the bike was beautiful. Wish i still had it. Great bike it had and aftermarket Micron exhaust that was the only thing i didn't like i was going to put on a two brothers exhaust on it but my ex girlfriend bought it for me and got mad at me and sold it on me. I was so pissed and still am a little bit. I'll never have a girlfriend buy me another bike ever I'll buy it myself. She wanted me to get a bike really bad so we could go riding and then she pulled that shit on me. The bike was in prestige condition. I was abe to get the guy to sell it for 6,200 bucks. It was a Great deal. Really loved that bike ran great and was so awesome always got complements on it. I'm going to get another bike again just not sure what i will get i love the BMWS1000RR But don't know yet. Thanks for the video love those bikes can't go wrong with a Honda CBR 1000RR Great motorcycle's.
I have a 05 1000rr, 22K Miles, Full Akro titanium exhaust, PC3 USB tuned, vortex more straight bars, sprockets + chain in FL for sale! Fast bike.
The sound of my 06 was the best!!
I got these at my first Bike and I cant wait for the next ride with it, just waiting for good weather.
I have two , I’ve rode one of them coast to coast across Spain in a day. On my way too the Valencia moto gp. And a second is a 2005 in Repsol colours that was one of the HRC show bikes. That was never used
It’s only done one hundred miles from new.
I just purchase my first 07 cbr 1000rr!!! A few weeks ago Barn Garage find !! Literally sitting for two years and a whole lot of spiders 🕷️ 😅.
I absolutely love her…. Worrrrrth It 😂
Ahhhh yes!!! That's what's up. Keep it nice and ride safe!
@@CycleHunters Thanks 🙏 4 the 🫶 (Shes my precious … ) lol
The swiss army knife of super bikes.
Pretty sweet for sure. One of my personal favorites.
My favorite bike after the Blackbird XX!!!
I just bought an '03 BB XX....great bike. I rolled the dice on buying it since I had never ridden one before. Smooth as single-malt scotch....Did you have one of these 1K CBR's? Thoughts?
I own 2 of this generation, 06 track bike for Phillip Island and an 07 for the road, beautiful nuclear warheads on wheels
Ahhhhhhh Phillip Island....on a Cbr1000....stuff of dreams my friend. You're very lucky.
@@CycleHunters Kentucky Kid...06 RC211V.....world champion....legend 🇺🇸🇦🇺 I own one because of him
3:17 is one of the reasons i like the original style better
Is there a way to turn both headlights on on low beam? That's the only thing I don't like with this bike.
No.
Tha a beutiful machine no dough about Tha 🔥🔥🔥🔥😘
James Tollenson rode it to a Superbike Championship in 2007!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You mean James Toseland. Yea that was the only title since for Honda in WSBK.
Those are sexy bikes. I would buy a brand new if i had the dough, but until then the older generation fits just fine. I actually don't like the 2009 - 2016 models for example.
What you think about The 2003 Honda superhawk 996
The shop owner has had one and loved it. It's really a good street bike. I rode it years ago and thought it was very plush. But I was riding a very stiff Ducati 996s at the time in comparison.
I bought a 2007 brand new of the showroom floor god I miss that bike
@timothyanderson1132 it's the usual sentiment when you sell something you rode and liked. We've all been there.
Es una máquina increíble
2001 GSXR1000 the first 1000cc Superbike! Nicky Hayden won MotoGP is 2006! The RC 211v inspired RR was the 2008+
You might want to check this out for the history of the first SBK. Yamaha has Suzuki beat by several years. Yes Hayden won the GP title in 06 on the last 990 cc honda RC211v which had inspired the CBR 1000rr design.
@@CycleHunters R1 was first and the 2008+ were inspired by the 211V. Ride safe!
I have sn 07. I'll probably keep it till i die. And since i ride an 07cbr1000rr that could be at any time.
@THOR252RACER long life friend.
Whats the Price on fhe Honda Cbr1000 rr 2006 model Pal?
All current pricing is listed on www.cyclehunters.com.
I got that same bike we're is the fuse box road it today and lost all digital display 😢
The RC 211V was a completely different bike. It was a V5 for starters and this bike isn't similar in any way. Not even cosmetically.
The VFR was the street version of the RC 211V.
I got same bike
Wow❤❤❤
Your forgetting the suzuki gsxr1000 k3k4 1000 and yamaha R1 5pw came out before that bike
@@darrenjohnson2872 Not forgetting. Just more about where this is in line with its honda siblings.
DON'T RIDE THIS BIKE IN THE WET !
KIND REGARDS
You can, but rain riding a SBK is not really fun anyway.
I driffed mine across three lanes back a forth 2nd gear.
Depends on your tires I have ridden in wet conditions it is like any other bike without abs
@@stewart8127 hahah bad ABS bro, your grip
@@leaddinner7157 my bike was mafe before the manufacturer put ABS or TC on bikes. Boy!
Just pick one up with only 20k on it
Not Valentino Rossi !,😢😢😢😢😢
Why?
No the 2006 is not the best the 2013 1000rr is the best the last of the best because it has no electric gysmos just slipper clutch and floating rear suspension... i have one
Just love em for what they are and they are pretty great!
Thanks to new regulations I wont be able to buy my dream bike
WHAT REGS?
R6 ?
@@CycleHunters Vehicles here in India are not road legal 15 years after its registration. (Differs in different states)
@@josephjoestar5444 Cbr 600rr, it was my childhood dream.
I ended up buying a Ninja 650 as I was not able to find a legal 600rr. I regret that decision
@@zhack3d take your lives back from the commies
That shit still has secondary injection plumbing and servo motor :(
ok
@@CycleHunters IT shouldn't with an after market exhaust.... meaning under decel it'll do pops and be sluggish under accel.
Are you going to ride it or keep talking shi
Electronic shit today causes more oroblems and dangerous take my 2024 gsxr i totaled... 341 miles and wrecked from u stable death wobbles from the computer Fighting to not let it do what it wants to do, never had that issue with my 2007 cbr
More and more share that sentiment with sportsbikes these days. Lots of customers just want the basic bike back.
