Yeah right mann... we’re so Hospitable to a fault that we let 3 different Foreign Powers Japan, America , Spain take our land on a whim.. not to mention letting one of them squat here for 333 years. But hey look on the bright side at least we still get to be hospitable.
Man screw that “Hospitable” shitt people always associate with Filipinos. Subservient shit like that is what caused us to get conquered in the first place.
In the Philippine context: the word “Hospitable” is synonymous to “Foolishness”
The Philippines didn’t Help in the Korean War because we we’re “Hospitable” , but because We valued Freedom and Liberty.

Don't say it wasn't taught to you, well maybe to your school or you just wasn't paying attention in class. This was taught but briefly since the textbooks especially in public schools is more geared/focus on the communist red scare propaganda. But this is taught but briefly. what was not taught to us is the Philippines's involvement on sheltering Jewish people at the onset of world war II and the Vietnamese refugees at Vietnam war and also the brief time we took in the White Russians when the reds were persecuting the tsarist supporters on Russia and China. Oh we also took in a Christian Daimyo(That daimyo is a Saint by the way) and his followers after the japanese persecuted the christians on their lands.
So yeah We like harboring persecuted people! :)

That line "I think without Filipino Army, there would be no South Korea today".
Alam mo ba na about 40 kilometers southwest of the Filipino Army, a Battalion of the Gloucestershire Regiment of United Kingdom were also fighting the Chinese and North Koreans at Hill 235, south of Imjin River, which now known as Battle of Imjin River or Battle of Gloster Hill. While the Filipinos were ordered to withdraw in April 23, this battalion fought on until April 25, and they fought to the death. Sa 600-700 members ng Battalion na ito, mga 50 lang ang naka-survive.
Kaya wag angkinin ang buong credit dahil hindi lang Pilipinas ang tumulong.

Perhaps, the reason why the Filipinos fought so hard in Korea because of April 9, 1942, when the USAFEE (70,000 Filipino Solidiers) and 25,000 American surrendered to the Japanese. The battle of bataan... is the defeat that the Philippine ARmy do not want to be repeated. In fact only 10 years have passed still fresh from the memory of these young man how it feels to lose honor by mere lack of war material, no airplane, no tanks, no food, no mama, no papa, NO UNCLE SAME. But Korean war is differrent now... with new weapons, tanks supplied by US and UN... the Filipino fought so hard not to repeat the Battle of Bataan... in the battle of Yuldong. Some lessons have been learned too... The Position taken by the Filipinos is equivalent to MT. SAMAT... on a high ground, where they made the last stand...
Bataan, is an inspiration and a lesson, for the Philippine Military... Surrender... and you will suffer like that of the death march. Better, fight it out... rather than be tortured, made a slave, or worst... MARCH in the winter snow... In Bataan Filipino soldiers walk.. the death march... it will never happen in Korea to walk in winter... 1942 April 9 Battle of Bataan was exorcised by Battle of Yuldong in Korea... To this day, the Philippine Army learned a lesson, to be repeated in GOLAN HEIGHTS... where the extremist wants to surrender the guns of the Filipinos... again... if you surrender your gun.... you will be tortured, or be a slave, or worst... turn against your comrade with a promise to let you live and kill you latter... the lesson? Never trust an enemy... for they will avenge their dead comrade. Do you think so many Chinese and N. Korean dead will treat them kindly if Filipinos surrender? Better be a dead hero than a living slave.

It’s crazy because I never really thought that anyone would have a genuine love and interest about the Philippines (not trying to be rude here or anything, just being honest of how I feel truthfully) and so I’m truly grateful about you guys and what you guys do. This definitely made me want to study Korean harder and appreciate your culture and history with a thorough understanding! 한국어를 아직 배우고있고 가끔 힘들지만 포기하지 않을게요! 정말 감사하고 열심히해요! ❤️

The Philippines was rightly the second most wealthy in Asia before, but it broke all the war against Japan and made it difficult for the Philippines to gain support abroad. so the Philippines suffered greatly. and was subjugated to the leadership of the political elite in the Philippines because of corruption. it's sad to think that the old Philippines was gone now. because of corruption and war in the past. Now the pace is rising so far second or third in the Philippines with the fastest growing economy in Asia today. and hopefully this will continue because the aquino party lists are no longer in the Philippines. and most people in the world today who have low regard for the Philippines do not know the history and background of the Philippines.
