- After inspecting the 840d on the ramp, we found a couple of issues that could be causing the fault codes 🧐
Whilst we try fix these issues, why not tackle some styling, with a set of 2Forge ZF8-R's and some H&R Lowering springs as well as some new Brembo discs 💪

RHYYTE then. Useful thing is a 330d rear rubber guibo is actually metal so handles power better for higher torque uses. Kept blowing them on my 140.
My dose of Diesel addiction
That reg is criminal 😂
Haha, it did get me arrested (no Joke)
Needs a new battery and make sure its the correct one and to have it coded to the car.
Looks awesome ❤
looking good hope you sort out the faults 👌
That is the ultimate sleeper, looks so good 👍
the rsu code stands for remote software upgrade and will be fixed by installing and coding a new battery.
I did think if the battery was related
@@-sargntclashroyaleandmore-491 loads of common electrical issues on modern bmw’s is really just to do with an old aged batteries, they are really sensitive to low voltages
Sorry guys but I think it looked better with the BMW wheels I am sure the ones you have fitted were very expensive but can help but think they look just cheap aftermarket wheels from Halfords
Each to their own. Wanted something new, strong and light with a motorsport look and we use them on the race cars and we like the look of them
Boost problem. Change the pressure converter/changeover valve
i love the wheels and colour of the car
Not sure about this car at all. I know you're doing your utmost to make it look special but the colour is not doing it any favours. Excellent to see you work through the faults one by one but the biggest one for me was the culprit buying the car in the first instance. Keep up the good work....any more on a suspension and brakes for the old Polo you had in? Thanks
You are in a minority regarding the colour, it's different but almost universally liked so we will leave it as is ;)
With regards the error codes still present… I had a message from DSC failure on my 125d when the battery was dodgy. I’d start there. Cd9767 and cd9763 does refer to a potential DSC unit failure or physical link tho in bmw literatures. If an alt battery doesn’t fix it then it could be the dsc unit is kaput or wiring between dsc and ecu compromised🤦🏼♂️
I had the same fault code 244C00 on my f10 535d it took me ages find it, I got a smoke test done on the vacuum system and the the converter valve was leaking
Do the the 2 forge alloys ballance up ok
Yeah, had no issues with balancing, was pretty quick
New battery and ECU
4:04 Would have thought by now the issue of different tread depths on axles was old hat nowadays with all the modern brain power cars now have..... Clearly not with BMW's!!
Suppose they can only be so many sensors and the systems are only getting more sensitive!
The Rake is too much. The front needs to be higher. The wheel specs are all wring. Needs way more dish.
Is there a reason why you used flat faced Brembo disks on the front as opposed to drilled or slotted?
Because “drilled and slotted” is a complete waste of time.
@@davog1946 when you say waste of time, do you mean from a performance point of view?
@@donaldallan2492 yes completely pointless, marketing at its finest.
The factory discs are flat faced. They put factory replacement discs on, so naturally they would also be flat faced.
Because they make too much noise when you brake harder...
where do you get real brembo discs?

Just take it to bmw their will just charge u a diagnostic fee and u fix ur self after .
