The “fish whistle” edit right after Brad said “kind of an herb junkie” was the perfect inside joke for the channel 😂❤ especially after seeing that garden. Quality material throughout 🌿 ✌🏼
growing up we didn't have much, so we sometimes would get squid from the fish bait section and do something very close to this - always thankful for calamari.
Brad if you love celery leaves you gotta grow lovage! It’s got that celery/parsley flavor but it’s a perennial! Plant it once and you’re good for life.
Such a character through and through. Great dish too, simple, honest, just leans on fresh good quality ingredients and love, you can't go wrong with that.
I LOVE YOU BRAD!!!!!!!!!! I'm from portland oregon and absolutely love how often you talk about it, I always feel like its a forgotten about city but it makes me happy that you come here.
This episode was such a love letter to onions that you should do a collab with dixondale farms. The best place to get onion plants if you don't start them from seed yourself.
I've been watching your shit for a while, since not long after It's alive began and I do really appreciate how you show what is happening. I am a chef but in a country that isn't very culinary inclined, its all pubs. It is getting better but its still difficult to find somewhere nice to work. To LEARN. So thanks :)
Not saying that ALL pubs are bad but a lot of my cooking at these pubs has chef mike. So yea, I worked for a wonderful polish couple and they really escalated my idea of how to cook. I would love to learn about our indigenous maori food but its tough. :)
Love this! Love your rock box! I love wild ramps. From vermont and the meals you can make from just a walk outside is *chefs kiss* Thanks for another awesome video! 👌
Gotta admit Brad makes some recipes that seem the HARDEST to recreate out of any chef I have ever watched. Random ingredients I've never seen or heard of and can't source. Random measurements, times and temperatures. Crazy mix of basic, commercial or rare kitchen tools, utensils and devices. But I'm still here for it!
Dude I learned the same thing about growing onions this year! Apparently just the little root clump wants to be under the soil. Next year, we’re clearing little onion motes and we’re gonna have huge onions!!
Yo Brad, Can you give me some breakfast potluck item ideas? I need to wow a crowd and you're the man to help! Love all your recipes and your personality - Keep killing it!
Great video! Please share the name/maker of the wooden spatula you used? So unusual the totally flat head and the rounded handle, looks so great and ergonomic
14:30 almost over-edited, but man, you guys are doing WORK. Feel like I'm back watching early Bon. Just don't go too wild on sponsors, and always let Brad be Brad.
You and Kenji have your lovely little salt cellars but I don't think I've ever seen you guys make any videos together. Any plans for that? I'd love to see you guys riff off each other and do some cooking.
Petition for Brad to go squid jigging and have a shoreline cookout!!
approved !!!
YAIIII@@bradleone
I love how Brad had huge weed plants in his garden. I'm sure they're medicinal.
The “fish whistle” edit right after Brad said “kind of an herb junkie” was the perfect inside joke for the channel 😂❤ especially after seeing that garden. Quality material throughout 🌿 ✌🏼
Please do a gardening series! It’d be the ultimate ‘It’s Alive!’ series 😊
Great job with the channel, everyone!
yeess and chickens!!
No better way to spend an evening after work than Makin’ It with Brad 👑
my favorite part is at 6:30 when Brad goes in his garden and across the row from the tomatoes is what looks like a large pot plant.
It is legal to possess and grow it in New York.
that's exactly what it is, you seen the previous episodes?
@@EvrttGrn i thought he lived in Connecticut, still legal there i think tho
@@risingsheep2983I thought he lived in NY, I could be wrong though. Yep, it is legal to possess and grown in CT as well.
@@EvrttGrn He's on the coast of CT - he mentions it in an earlier video. I don't know where exactly, though I think it must be towards Rhode Island.
Haha the garlic isn't the only medicinal in that garden. I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed lol
Love the Staub fry pan...
That recipe on some French bread, toasted and a bottle of wine!
Cheers
I bet brad has the best cookouts

Glad to see you're doing your own thing. I stopped watch BA vids after the 2020 hoopla so now I can start watching your content again. I'm excited!
Beautiful knifework, Brad. Mesmerizing.

Such a character through and through. Great dish too, simple, honest, just leans on fresh good quality ingredients and love, you can't go wrong with that.
Brad nonchalantly filming with huge pot plants right behind him 😂
I had to pause to confirm too! 🤣
Low key, I'm worried for him. People are willing and petty.
I love Brad so much, he makes cooking so fun
Looks amazing! Charismatic golden retriever chef energy for sure ❤
Would love to see a video on keeping a reciepe journal/notes for cooking if you have a journal and how you organize it. Keep up the great work.
Yeah more Brad! We love Brad!

brad living the life, hope you make overseas cooking episodes like asian cuisines!
Nice herb garden Brad
Nice nice!
Hey can we get a Brad Leone Yeti collection the same color as the Roccbox? Just sayin that would be sick!
Not the herb I would have picked from the garden
Love a quick recipe with tons of variety and fun flavors in it. I feel like you could substitute a variety of proteins in a pinch as well.
This episode was such a love letter to onions that you should do a collab with dixondale farms. The best place to get onion plants if you don't start them from seed yourself.
Just gotta say that after a long day I really appreciate sitting down and watching your vids

Leone & Sons Cannabis Co.
Another banger as always
Me and the boys back in the 1900's with the first chicken gimble went crazy. Good times
Yo Brad, Can you give me some breakfast potluck item ideas? I need to wow a crowd and you're the man to help! Love all your recipes and your personality - Keep killing it!
You should put a copy of your cookbook in your shrine! Or maybe near so people can see and get motivated to buy :) hello from 🇵🇷
I still need that Claire Saffitz Brad Leone Collaboration buddy. Surprise me for the holiday's.
The non-ingredient section feels like it was curated by a 7 year old kid. And I love it.
I gotta try some of this fruity pebble plant
We need a tour of that garden
The editor is adding extra chaos to the videos lol great work 👍🏻
Great video! Please share the name/maker of the wooden spatula you used? So unusual the totally flat head and the rounded handle, looks so great and ergonomic

Looks deliciuos
Brad's garden full of cannabis was my favorite part. Hope we get a making it stoney edition someday.
Braaadddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some of the best squid I had was a Greek joint run by Serbs cooking in a wood fired pizza oven ❤
I paid a friend $20 to eat a bait squid when we were young and it was $20 well spent.
Damn, that roccbox is a nifty tool.
Definitely deserve more subscribers
Lovely

Looked like a buena mulata hot pepper Brad!
That's a lot of cannabis haha
right next to the chillies too
Homies livin the life
Didn’t even notice that. Upon review…yeah! That’s a lot! Haha
It’s a couple of plants, chill bruh. Most recreational states allow for you to grow around 5 plants at home depending on the state.
Haha glad someone else noticed too lol
starting to think brad really knows how to cook
Looks yummy
Ooni! Ooni! Ooni!
Jk. Great ep. Thanks!

We need a mascot chicken. I vote for Chincy
Yeah bud!
