Jono seems like a great boss. I get the feeling he not only enjoys his job but enjoys his staff. He gave off a vibe of someone whose in it for the love of the craft. Cheers Brad for shining a light on the the people we should be idolizing.
We should NEVER idolize other human beings! As we are all here for the same goal, with this brief life we have. To get away from the mind and body. This body is not ours, it was only given it to us, to hold the soul. We come from soil ( food ), we go back to soil. The best thing we can do is improve our own self, not for anyone but our selfs. That way, we will be pleasant while with others. Improving one self, is how we change the world. For the better!
He does seem super fun, like in a chaotic and occasionally stressed-out-but-not-aggressive way. On the other hand, he's giving me strong Hugo Weaving vibes. Agent Smith? Tick? Can't tell. 🤔
I love how when he tried to get all the excess of the clay and he had to cut off a little more, he said his employee Shauna would have done it in 1 try. That was really cool to see and speaks to his character
I hope those restaurants invite him to come and try the food they serve on his amazing dinnerware because it absolutely enhances their customer's experience and makes him a part of their final product.
Jono seems like such a respectful and overall wonderful teacher, he was so effortlessly considerate and supportive with Brad. VERY nice to watch, thank you!
I’m only 1:12 in and it’s reminiscent of Brad Tries Pottery from Goin’ Places and I LOVED that episode! Thanks for continuing to share and shout out Local Legends Brad and Co.!
I recall that at some restaurant somewhere I turned over the plate specifically because I noticed how beautiful it was. (I’m a budding potter so this wasn’t too surprising, but I don’t do this often). When I looked Jono up and saw he was from my home state of NJ, I was so excited!! Thanks for making this video! Also, Brad- after you showed a fermentation crock someone made for you in another episode, I made one for my bro-in-law! Thanks for the inspiration. (Thanks to Jono’s website I figured out that it was Talulla in Cambridge, MA.
Absolutely killing it w/ these LL eps, Brad. Love them and thank you for the great work. I was exposed to a bit of Jono's work through my affinity for his brother's band The Infamous Stringdusters. It's great to see and hear more of his story. The Pandolfis are a talented family!
LOVE IT!! Snagged me a limited edition Brad bowl & a pink bowl from their shop too!!! My sis did pottery a few years ago and it's a TOUGH thing to master!
I got into Ceramics and a few other art classes in high school, and always loved the hands on approach of creating something of both form and function. I was fortunate that the public school I went to had such amazing teachers for all of the art classes. They really cared about the students and about helping others learn. So many of the teachers I had growing up wanted us to be creative, and to do what we envisioned/wanted (to a degree,) not just following a curriculum or copying the teacher. Jono here, and all that he's done, is incredibly inspiring, and i'm so happy to see someone like him have such a carefree, humble, and down to earth personality! I know that there are many, many artists & creators like him, but there needs to be more people like him in the spotlight as inspirations for how to treat a career in the arts, and how to enjoy the creative and fun side to making. So happy that Brad was able to collab with such an amazing guy, and to go through a days work with him and the other great people on the team! Love the vids, Brad! ❤ So happy to see you doing such a great show after BA.🤙
There's a certain impression Jono gives off that reminds me of like, an old kung fu master from a movie. Really makes you feel he's just a master of his craft. The video being specifically about that probably helps. Also I definitely want to eat clay. It looks delicious.
Just wanna pop in & say how much I look forward to your videos. Been watching you since your days at BA & overjoyed with Local Lengends🙏🏽 Also huge props to coming out to see us in Buffalo - thanks for bringing light, laughter & positivity in this world💯
Brad and Jono honestly have such awesome chemistry and Jono seems like such a chill guy, I have no interest in doing pottery but I'd love to work with this dude
this is such a wonderfully informative video! love the content so much, brad! uplifting the voices of small businesses is so important, especially in todays socioeconomic climate. thank you for your care for the community!!
Great intro! I like the full explanation style. Like writing a thesis in AP English. Brad, you act like a crazy man but you are organized and serious and unafraid. Thanks!
Words couldn't describe how happy this channel makes me! Been watching you since Vinchenzo was behind the camera lol you are a bright light of positivity Brad thank you
You guys should do some bowls you can smoke out of next round! Maybe little pipes or one hitters or even bowls with a bowl the side, so you can smoke a bowl while having a bowl of cereal.
Everyone should have a Brad Leone in their life. Love you dude, love your videos and I especially love your contagious happiness. I'm glad your YT channel seems to be doing well, you deserve all the views and so much more!
This was an amazing episode and absolutely appreciated. I thoroughly enjoy content like this especially when you have partaken in the craft first hand. It’s wonderful to see you bring great content like this to others. I also got a kick out of how the kilns were named after Mike Judge characters, Bevis and Butt-Head are missing Daria and Quin Morgendorffer, maybe those would be the next kilns. 😊
jono: I love the permanence of ceramics
also jono: *smashes the 5th ceramic in the studio*
Brad citing a scientific study is one of the more wild experiences I have had on TH-cam
My friend made a potato canon that launched tacos. This is entertaining for boomers. Sorry leone
@@hendrixj.8356We are always easily amused ... boomers had some fun years.
whoa wtf aren't you the poketuber
128 people does not mean it was a scientific study the fucking shampoo ads have a bigger sample size and that still bullshit.

Honestly it’s a blessing you have your own channel now
I need a Claire Saffitz Brad Leone collaboration once every six months FOR THE CULTURE! 😊
I don't think they're on the best of terms after the drama with BA
This guy is one of the best teachers I’ve ever seen.
I was just about to say that! He is a phenomenal teacher! He is so educated in his field and one can tell that he absolutely loves his work
By no means am I saying he's old, but I love when people like Brad show everyone that you're never too old to enjoy learning new things.
Thanks Brad for just being a happy funny human being, we need more of it.
“Build yourself a wood kiln” “you can do that?!” Pottery summed up
We need another run of the Leone fermentation jars
I'm loving this series and I love Jono's manner, caring but at the same time not too serious. Someone I'd love to learn from.
I hope those restaurants invite him to come and try the food they serve on his amazing dinnerware because it absolutely enhances their customer's experience and makes him a part of their final product.
What a soothing guy, Passionate and doing amazing work on something that often overlooked by restaurant patron.
The absolute speed in which I snatched up a bowl; No questions, just ACTION!
The filming was so stellar for this one!! 🌋🍶🪵

Kudos to the sound effects ... they don't go unnoticed and make me laugh. The bubble popping, the boxing ring, etc. So funny.

I would love to see a new series titled Brad Breaks Everything
LOVE IT!! Snagged me a limited edition Brad bowl & a pink bowl from their shop too!!! My sis did pottery a few years ago and it's a TOUGH thing to master!
2:26 Brad having to stop himself from saying "Let's smoke some bowls" was toooooo fuckin funny
i was wondering if anyone else caught that lol i love that brad can be an open stoner now that he’s not under the bon appetit thumb
Hell yeah Mr. Leone. Follow your nose it always knows. You are nailing such a good mix of topics and people.
I didn’t even get 5 minutes into the video before having to pause and go to the site to by myself a set of 4 of these beauts!

excellent
Another fantastic episode! This one was super fun
Gooood evening from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great night!
Shout out from Manatee County!
Ceramic dishware just bring a classy and fun feel to everything. This was 100% great vid. Reminiscent of the vid with Keith Kreeger.
My 16 year old Junior in high school does ceramics in school as a chosen elective. It is his favorite class.
this is my fav episode.
Keep up the awesome content Brad! I love you
Jono has a stellar voice!
Jono Pandolfi is the accumulation of my intrusive thoughts 😂 what a great host and insight into fine dining stoneware
I love how Jono breaks his shit. Makes me happy :)

I didn't know that I needed to hear Brad's Hank Hill impression.
10:03 after immense research, inertia. This was such an awesome video. Thanks for this video. Very little shown of this studio.
This is one of my favorite episodes as a new watcher, like Mr. Roger’s but for grown up’s. 😊

5:10 Broden from Aunty Donna said it well. "Get out of the kiln!"
Absolutely loved this episode!
That studio looks like so much fun. RC cars, cool plants and artwork. Not to mention smashing stuff would be so cathartic
You guys should do some bowls you can smoke out of next round! Maybe little pipes or one hitters or even bowls with a bowl the side, so you can smoke a bowl while having a bowl of cereal.
This was inspiring and an amazing episode. Thanks to both of you!!

One of the most exciting alerts that I get. Can't click these videos fast enough. Thanks, Brad :)

Jono sounds just like Gob Bluth from Arrested Development.
