    Just got a box of them and this really gives me great inspiration for the armour. Thanks!

      No worries dude! They're a bit fiddly to build, so be gentle cutting them off the sprue - especially the legs. I had to glue 3 or so back together and it's the tiniest joint ever.

    Didn’t even know that I needed skeletons in my life until I watched this!

      @enderkid2388 Used it for my own army, they look fantastic when they're done. Really painless to paint as they're so quick to do!

    Hot tip, use zandri dust instead of the bone colour. It's pretty much the same colour only you don't need like 3 coats to make it look full and covered. Just a thicker base paint really... once washed w agrax the difference is imperceptible :D
    Great video though, you helped me bang out my zombies and skeles in record time! and they look epic

      They look really good in groups of 20, hard to tell you've painted them in such a short amount of time! Good luck 👍

    I love this tutorial!
    Any idea on which contrast paint to go for a more Dessert/Arabic style armor?

      Metal tends to get worn out in largely the same way no matter what the environment, unless of course its a humid/watery environment in which case it will have more rust on it.
      You'll probably find that if you base your models with Armageddon Dunes and then drybrush it Screaming Skull, your Skeletons will immediately look like they're from a desert without changing the actual paint scheme in the video.

      It doesn't take very long to batch paint them using this method! I've painted 40 of them now. 😪

    Great video! What did you use for the base? Tech textures?

    • @criticalhitwargaming5290
      @criticalhitwargaming5290  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Astrogranite, shade with Drakenhof Nightshade, drybrush a light grey. I used Longbeard Grey, but administratum grey would work fine too!

    Awesome scheme. I'm hoping to pick up the SBG gravelords box for Xmas.
    I was just wondering whether you thought about doing a tutorial for painting deadwalker zombies? You get 40 in the set and I don't want them to take ages aha.
    Keep up the good work, I'm going to use your emperor's children scheme for my chaos kill team.

      I will be doing some Deadwalker zombies for sure! Just need to get my hands on some. I'm likely gonna grab the Revenant Legion too, so I'll do a tutorial for everything in it.

    Are they monopose?

    • @criticalhitwargaming5290
      @criticalhitwargaming5290  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, for the most part. You can change the weapons between swords and spears, but otherwise you get two of each 'pose'. The heads are interchangeable.

      @@criticalhitwargaming5290 yeah, I was planning on using them for 6th ed fantasy. But the way they are posed will make regimenting them, impossible.

      @@fan9775 Can confirm they will be shockingly awful for that, aye. Some of them are holding weapons and spears horizontally, and there's nothing you can do about it.
