Love it. My preferred barding on blood knights. Hope you get the chance to do Radukar the beast.
Thanks! I have the model so if there is room in the schedule I will try 👍🏻
Fantastic! Just picked these guys up. Can't wait to paint them now!
Awesome - glad you found it useful!
Amazing video as usual , can't wait to refer to this video when I eventually get some vampires in my collection 👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
@@ThePaintingCoach i really did. Your tutorials will help me to improve my painting skills
That's great! Thanks for letting me know!
Really great painting and instruction, dropping a comment to appease the TH-cam algorithm gods :)
Thanks Nick - appreciate the support!
Very beautiful paintjob, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Got these guys on order, cracking vid, thanks
Thanks Martin! 👍🏻
I'm toying with a blood knight army and will be back to follow your tutorial if I bite the proverbial bullet. That black cloth in particular looks great and I never thought of doing bone with rakarth but will be from now on.
Thanks Jack!
Really like your method of the black templar over top the khorne red for that really dark red armor. Gonna go try on a vampire model right now
Thanks glad you liked it!
OUTSTANDING!
Cheers
WOW!! That's a pretty awesome paint job you did there 👏👌👍 I really like how you did the black coat with the green highlights! It looks amazing and also some kind of spooky and ghostly.
Your a really good painter and a great inspiration with you videos to me, thanks for your tutorials 🙏
Thanks! Glad the videos are helpful!
He looks awesome
Thanks!
Vraiment le meilleur
Merci beaucoup pour ce tuto
🙏😊❤️
Pas probleme!

Is right! Just primed one last night lol
Top timing!
Thanks! Cheers from Rome!✌✌
Glad you liked it!
I was waiting for a tutorial to do dark burgundy armor, the horse is beautiful and also loved the fabric.
Thanks - glad you found it useful!
i must have watched this video about 15 times, basicly 5 for each of my knigths painted hahaha, only 12 more to go!
Glad it helps!
The models are amazing, but i find that the red armour dulls them down... i opted for a different scheme: old polished gold with red accents
Really cool
Cheers!
Awesome job
Cheers Doc
Looks good. I normally find the transition from wazdakka to squig orange a bit harsh so I tend to do a 1:1 mix of them instead of pure squig orange instead.
Will definitely ease it!
Hola! He vuelto al hobby después de casi 20 años y he empezado por esta misma figura como la estás pintando tu y me encanta el resultado. Gracias por todos tus vídeos desde el país Vasco!!! 😉
Sin problema! Gracias!
Awesome
Thanks!
In case you're still checking comments here, what is the reasoning behind spraying the model with Chaos Black and then Mephiston Red? Wouldn't it be better to just spray with Mephiston Red on its own?
I try to answer all comments! I find you get a richer red - just Mephiston over plastic works but the colour is a bit duller I feel
Gorgeous artistic work.
Noob question though...how do you take the paint off of any figure so you can start from zero?
Cheers - use a stripper like bio strip 2.0 👍🏻
Can I ask how you based these? Been looking for a style like that for my soulblight army and love how your bases have come out.
Just using some of the instant basing materials from geek gaming scenics - i'm not 100% which one sorry
Comment for the algorithm.
Small problem, I'm painting them as night lords
Any advice of how to tone down orange to a kinda khaki color?
That's a bit of a shift 🤔 you could try mixing a khaki colour in with the orange - or a touch of light grey maybe. You could also dry drybrushing it lightly with khaki
How do you manage to have your flesh tearers so mat ? mine is all shiny like a gloss.
No idea - all I can say is I give it a really good shake - you could always pop some matt varnish over it
@@ThePaintingCoach Thank, i will try that.
Why use black templar contrast mixed with medium instead of just using nuln oil?
You get a better finish, it doesn't pool as badly and nuln oil can leave streak marks too
@@ThePaintingCoach ty for answering.
No problem 👍🏻
Did you do zenithal highlight with the Mephiston Red?
No not really - it was more tongwr a head start and not have to paint lots of layers of red
What brushes do you use? 😊
Rosemary & Co Series 33 amd 323
Trying to get that GW sponsor/partnership huh. only using citadel paints...
