Been into warhammer for 20 years but never painted a single zombie before. Just started a vampire counts army and found this vid, some great tips mate! Your narration and sense of humour are top notch as well, subscribed 😁 cheers!
Aha thanks! I've just invested loads in setting up a mini studio at my new place so there will be a regular stream of content coming soon. Keep your eyes peeled and let me know if there is anything in particular you want to see.
I just wanted to say thank you for this video, I’ve been looking for a good speed painting tutorial with variation for zombies and this is perfect. Going to try this on Poxwalkers which will work perfectly
brilliant video, tutorial and colour choices. I am building a Vampire Counts army for Warhammer fantasy and I'm 100% going to use this! Thanks so much!
I got the revenant legion for Christmas, super thankful for the quick tutorial! Can't wait to unleash my (not so) honourable knights alongside hordes of (rotten) peasants.
Excelent tutorial that has helped me a lot when I recently started a SoulBlight Gravelords army! Any chance you're coming back to youtube in the forseeable future? I would love to see some more soulblight guides, and with the new miniatures just revealed, now seems like a great time to return :) Hope all is well
@Asger55 That's the plan mate, unfortunately I can either do painting commissions or the channel at the moment, and commissions earn much more money at a time when it is sorely needed to provide for the family. I love making stuff for TH-cam, but I am severely limited by there only being 24hrs in a day. Sucks hard!
Thanks for watching! For the bases, it's Astrogranite shaded with Drakenhof Nightshade and then lightly drybrushed with Longbeard Grey (or Ulthuan Grey, if you don't have it). Super simple!
Hi! It's Astrogranite, shaded with Drakenhof Nightshade, and then drybrushed with Administratum Grey for a Shyish-style wasteland effect. In the Speed Painting: Deathrattle Skeletons video you can see how I do it if that's not clear in any way. Thanks for watching!

Glad to hear it!

No worries! Some of the new shades work really nicely for this too. Poxwalker and Mortarion Grime being two of them.
Thank you for doing these, I really appreciate it. Will be using this when I get round to the revenant legion over Xmas!

@@criticalhitwargaming5290 Ahhh, that makes sense. Family first!
Hope to see you back on TH-cam some day though. Best wishes and happy painting mate
hahaha such successful zombies. So good.
Is that grey seer or white scar undercoat?
Grey Seer. 🙂
Great job were did you learn this
The paint scheme? I made it up!
very interesting tutorial. thank you for the guide.
Did you prime these in grey seer or white scar?
Grey Seer 😊
One Question, do you shade
the Zombies with the Green skin with agrax Earthshade too?
Yup! The whole lot. Makes the skin look dirty.
@@criticalhitwargaming5290 OK thank you!
Look awesome! >Revenant Legion. Does that mean we can look forward to the Blood Knights and Vengorian Lord?
We can indeed! They'll be along in the not too distant future. :)
thank you!
No problem at all!
Super helpful, thank you a ton!
The basing in the finished product at 10:45 and onwards, how did you do those? They look great!
Thanks for watching! For the bases, it's Astrogranite shaded with Drakenhof Nightshade and then lightly drybrushed with Longbeard Grey (or Ulthuan Grey, if you don't have it).

Great video! What color of undercoat did you use? As for the base, I recognize Astrogranite, but what other colors did you used over that?

As for the undercoat, I just used Grey Seer. :)
@@criticalhitwargaming5290 ohhh, is that Grey Seer? Thought for a second it looked like Wraithbone 😅
Omg she’s so drunk
