SALUT LES MORUES!
Thank you, omg, this is feedback and also a guide that I was dreaming of😄😇
Glad that it was useful! :)
Man, this is the most usefull video ever!!!
I'm glad you liked it :) don't hesitate to share it where you think it could help others! (and to subscribe :P )
This makes me want to go on Erasmus
Budapest is waiting for you ;)
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
in Hungary rák means crab, but also the astrological sign as you said and it also means cancer, as the disease so that's why it went wrong :D
I knew I was onto something! :)
you were about to forget Morrison's!!!!! OMG!!!!
Ahah Rickyyyy, it's not my fault, last year morrisons on mondays was completely empty, and I haven't been since it went back to life :P
Fuckin aye!
I think Budapest park, Durer kert, Kobuci kert, A38 hajo are missing right?
In deed! :) Thank you for adding to the list, never even heard of kobuci kert, i'll have to go check it out ;)
Kobuci kert is in Óbuda, closer to the rest of Buda, it's a really nice outside venue ;)
Should I wait for better weather to go get my first impression of the place then? :)
Definitely, besides it's closed right now. But don't miss it when it opens in April! The place is named after a dish based on an old hungarian recipe, it's kinda like a flatbread topped with garlic tejföl(you must already know what that is :D), roasted sausage, diced cucumber and tomato. It's delicious but impossible to eat without making a complete mess of yourself :D
ahah i guess then I cannot go when it's cold then :p Your last sentence could actually inspire a nice challenge video, I'll make sure to mention you if that happens someday ;)
NetPincer also has an english version of the site: english.netpincer.hu
Cheers! :)
Awesome, I'll replace my bookmark! thanks! :)
OMG!! Who is that handsome silly boy at 4:20?! :O :D
Ahah, a random guy hanging around Blaha lujza... Or is it? :D
I cannot choose! Erasmus in Prague or Budapest
I would 100% recommend Budapest, although Prague is also very nice :)
@@KilianKlein can you point out the differences? What makes budapest better for example? I really can not choose :(
@@KilianKlein btw my school is the IBS in Budapest. Did you hear something about it? Or metropolitan uni in Prague.
First of all I would say, the uni itself does not really make a difference. The value of the Erasmus program is the experience itself which is priceless, not what you will study there ;) Secondly, Budapest has had the better situation Covid-wise so far, with everything still open and numbers (possibly questionable, to your own discretion 😂) really low. The party scene is better in Budapest in my opinion, as it is a little bit bigger. Prague is great too, but, IMO again, it just feels less great and beautiful than Budapest. Streets are wider and never feel crowded in BP, Prague is a lot narrower. Although I do love Prague a lot, i would definitely choose Budapest if I were you! But that is your choice to make of course ;)
Have you decided yet? Living in Prague, going to Budapest next year on Erasmus. Super excited. :)
Wish I'd watched this earlier xD
Hopefully something was still useful?? :)
Any tips that I might have forgotten? :)
I know it's quite a touristic place, but I love Szimpla!
Are you still an Erasmus or what do you do there?
Yes I love Szimpla as well :) But I don't really consider it a party place, that's why it is not mentioned in that guide. But one of the thursday videos will definitely happen there, with secrets and challenges ;)
I am not an erasmus anymore, but I basically spent my time in Budapest with erasmus people (and locals) as an expat. I am working here as a software engineer :)
Sweet!
Kilian, are you hungarian?
Hi Liv :) No, I am just living in this beautiful city for a while now. I am half French half English
Hm I hope I wont starve as a vegetarian in Budapest😅
There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian places here too, and most places have options too :)
@@KilianKlein perfect :) I have my interview for the Erasmus semester on thursday...
I wish you all the best! (And also that the global situation gets fixed by the time you get here! :)
