I think conservative Americans tend to have more of an affinity with eastern Europeans than western. Certainly, we are more on the same page with politics, views on socialism/big government, mass immigration and believing in more traditional gender roles.
@@norwegianblue2017 I find it interesting
@@norwegianblue2017Hmm interesting. I am Eastern European, and maybe it’s because of past political issues and disagreements throughout history, but i feel very far away from any American/westerner in general. And most people that i know from my country and fellow Eastern European countries feel the same way. I guess i mostly view it in the similar way that Putin views it. I can never really fully trust Americans or anybody from the west, but if they are genuine people and (preferably conservative) then cool. But other than that our cultures, bloodline and ancestors are completely different. I feel like we’re even more similar to a Latin American(and we’re very different than them as well) but at least when it comes to family relationships and that pure family love and tradition. Idk though, maybe my bias comes from decades of very liberal, anti Christian anti tradition American presidents. I must say looking from afar, Trump was my favorite.

Infertility was also my biggest fear--and we wound up struggling! But we were still in our 20s and our Infertility doctor said, "Do not worry. You are young and healthy. I can guarantee that of everyone in my practice, you two will have a baby." Fast forward three years and we have two kids, no IVF needed! Time is on your side.
Yeah for women who are in their 20s, time is on their side. Unfortunately women are being encouraged to wait until their 30s to even start settling down.
I think that worrying about infertility can cause it. A best friend in college later married. They tried for years to get pregnant and finally gave up. The adopted. She soon thereafter became pregnant and was the proud mother of TWO sons. Once the pressure was up, it worked.
@williampotter2098 stress can most definitely affect it. Like stressing yourself out about fertility. Women's bodies and cycles are extremely sensitive to stress, I didn't realize this until I was actually ttc and was tracking my cycle meticulously
Infertility as your biggest fear. Get over it. Women get cancer and have infertility as a cause. Don't be so whiny... 🙄
@eily_b did commenting that make you feel better? Based on your comment history on this channel you don't appear to be happy.
As a hungarian who is here since day 1 of this channel, I'm so glad for this video, and I'm so happy Brett had a great time here!

What's the best time to visit Hungary? It looks so charming . How are the people in general if I may ask?
@@kennymichaelalanya7134 the best time is when you have money.. 🙃
In my oppinion the best in spring or fall, but it depends on what your prefered weather :) It's not always the same, but summer could be 35+ hot or a regular 28, but in the city this kills me. The winter can be cold but these days not as bad. People are usually friendly. I always tought we are one of the most rude nation but some of my dutch friends told me they think the opposite, so I don't really know. It's just pure luck who you meet probably.@@kennymichaelalanya7134
@@kennymichaelalanya7134 We were visiting in June and it was wonderful, but I would love to go back at Christmas time so I can see the "fényvillamos" in action, and all the Christmas lights and activities. I just don't know if I have enough money to buy gifts for all my relatives. 😮
Seeing Brett happy is genuinely nice.
Got me in the feels when you said infertility is your worst fear before getting married. 😭 It was mine too, then my reality, despite being perfectly healthy! It took a gluten free/ cycle syncing diet and an integrative doctor, but we’re finally pregnant after 3 years of trying. 😊 If that is part of your journey, just know there is hope and God is faithful to make good out of all experiences. I know we’re better prepared to be parents after going through the work and heartache of infertility.
yeaaayyyy! congrats! ❤
Eastern European nations are so underrated. Hungary, Croatia and Romania are my top picks of places to visit from there.
😂A hundred years ago, these countries (until the First World War) were all part of the Kingdom of Hungary, all the beautiful buildings of the countries were built during the thousand years of the Kingdom of Hungary!
For most of the Middle Ages they were all buffer states between the ottoman and austrohungarian empires
Hungary... Austria??? No.
I enjoyed Albania a lot, but Serbia felt cold and distant, did not enjoy Belgrade. Two countries I've been to in Eastern Europe. Turkey/Istanbul blew both away though

So interesting seeing Brett's POV of Hungary. I grew up in Budapest and i never though seeing parts of the city trough the eyes of someone else would be so fascinating.
I used to travel all the time for work. When I’d come home I’d travel my own city with “new” eyes, in that being away so much made me appreciate what we have here in my own hometown. There is generally a sense that “the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence” (a US saying), but so many places around the world hold a lot of their own charms. Sometimes we just have to take the time to appreciate them.
Only thing that does not deserve any fascination is those "Chimney cakes" they are already a plague in Prague.
@@ligametis The original Chimney cake with only sugar, cinnamon or chocolate is fine. But when they fill it with sausage, cheese, ice cream or other shits like this it's indeed horrible. :D
She’s so grown up 🥹 watching her try on those wedding dresses felt so beautiful. I feel like a proud sister and I don’t even know her personally.
You deserve good things dear Brett and I hope you keep your shine❤

F stands for Földszint or Ground floor. Glad you're enjoying Budapest. Hungary is like a little hidden jewlbox in Europe! 🇭🇺
Floorgang
I don't know about FF but possible she means MF MagasFöldszint which means high ground floor / mezzanine floor
Also we don't count floors, we count "Emelet"s, which refers to the number of floors above the first one.
@@imjustapotatoleavemealone Tudom
@@anamariselaIt must be FE (not FF), which means halfth floor (félemelet).
While F means ground floor (földszint).
Budapest is so bright and clean. Just beautiful.
FF is félföldszint/félemelet, it's the mezzanine floor between the ground floor and the first floor. Not all buildings have it, but houses built before WWII usually do. They are not supposed to be full floors and the reason why they are full floors nevertheless is kind of funny, sums up Hungarian business acumen quite well. Basically they were trying to trick contemporary legislation, as it allowed only 3 full floors, while the ground floor, mezzanine floor and elevated ground floor (magasföldszint) did not count as a floor. So when they wanted to build 5-storey apartments, they just called the first two floors above the ground floor MF magasföldszint (elevated ground floor) and félemelet (mezzanine floor) - problem solved.
In Egypt you see a lot of buildings without a roof. Seems that as long as there is no roof the house is still under construction and the owner doesn't need to pay taxes for the house. And since it never rains there...
Thank you!!
12 minutes of Brett being a normie was so fabulous. Also you are so beautiful and dainty. I hope you make more of these.
