      @@jaya1000 For me, Tatsu and Viper are neck and neck. Viper is way better than West Coast Racers, which should have a 48 inch height requirement. It's basically a family coaster. Batman is fine but I'd still take Viper over it. Riddler hasn't aged well and should be converted to sit down.

    Very random suggestion for a future video, but I would love to see a ranking of the top 15 or so roller coaster logos. I think it's something that often gets overlooked, but we all have favorites and least favorites. The current logo for the bat at Kings Island is one of my favorites, as it uses the A as an upside down bat 🦇

      Premier rides could possibly rebuild the whole entire coaster. If Kings Island really wanted to bring it back, they could replicate the arrow looper version of Vortex with same similar supports and track and have S&S get the arrow trains for it since the original Vortex trains are already on Carolina cyclone at Carowinds
      They can most likely replicate those trains that Vortex used to have and they could rebuild a replica of the bats old station. That would be pretty cool 🙂🎢🟦🟧🦾

    I do agree that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster should get the Loch Ness Treatment. I rode it last summer after it reopened after an extended refurbishment and I found it to be pretty rough. I hope that the extended refurbishment it is currently under smoothes it out some.
    I would also love to see treatment come to both Viper and Gold Rusher at Magic Mountain (add some theming to Gold Rusher, new trains and some smoothing out on Viper).

    I'm an American enthusiast and I rode Goudurix a few weeks ago. Honestly, it does not deserve the overwhelming hatred. It is by no means a good ride, but it has a wonderful cushion on the back that makes the experience way more pleasant. As long as it stays there, my top pick would be Viper. A retrack would bring people away from X2 and shorten the lines because Viper is actually really good, even now.

    While not specifically Premier Rides specific, I'd love to see ideas on plusing up the presentation on these rides as well. I like the thematic additions to Loch Ness Monster. They really add to the experience and show that there park really cares about this legacy. I think any of these rides with some retracking and some thematic surprises would really be fun.
    Desperado having more cowboy stuff.
    Big Apple Coaster with the roof tops decorated to look like a big city.
    Dragon Mountain with an enclosed tunnel for three helix. I mean, the Loch Ness Monster idea would fit pretty well there. Or they could just make it a cave.
    Blue Hawk might benefit with some water features like a fountain or even rock work with a water fall.
    I'm sure there are plenty of things they could do to really sell the idea of the upgrades.

  • @julianhudson7811
    @julianhudson7811 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

    I'd imagine a Dragon Mountain re-tracking would also come with additional scenery/theming and lighting effects in the tunnels.

    I think Cedar Point's Corkscrew should be pretty high on this list. During Top Thrill 2 preview, Corkscrew and Magnum were the only other coasters open and there were many Corkscrew trains less than half full. I think CP wants to keep it for the iconic corkscrews over the pathway and it's always been a nice coaster to bridge between the kiddie rides and the huge extreme thrill coasters. I'd like to see the original train, but would love if the could somehow rework the seat and restraint.

    • @TheCouncil-zg4vp
      @TheCouncil-zg4vp 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I'm mixed on it. I feel like they've been holding onto it for the history and the iconic corkscrew over the midway. But it's also had low attendance for at least 20 years. If it had a more valuable plot of land, I don't think it would've lasted as long as it has. I don't think they'll scrap it unless the right coaster project comes along, but with CP, it'll always come to that because of space limitations

      I don't know, Anaconda feels a little dubious to me. It's not that popular, especially compared to something like Nessie, which is absolutely adored by the same area that Anaconda is in. (Remember, Loch Ness is an ACE landmark and maybe the most famous coaster in the area) It's layout is also not particularly good. Maybe they'll give it new trains, but even a retrack feels like a stretch, let alone a proper refurbishment. The only reason I think they even keep it around is because it would be so hard to fill its plot with something else.

    Demon at great America is a classic, and is two years older than the Loch Ness Monster, opening with the park in 1976 as Turn of the Century. I used to marathon it because,of the amazing airtime hills,in the back. I didn’t know what airtime hills were back then, but loved them. Then after 1979 they renamed it Demon, took out the airtime hills, and replaced them with vertical loops. I was really sad about this, since they had Tidal Wave if you wanted a vertical loop, but we were told that the hills had too many negative g’s and were destroying the track. I hope it doesn’t get removed since it and the Whizzer are original to the park.

    Magnum XL-200 seems very plausible. Considering it’s the original hyper coaster, it’s an ACE landmark like you said, and Cedar Point already went through the extensive effort of keeping the other height record breaker, Top Thrill Dragster, and refurbishing it to Top Thrill 2 instead of just scrapping it despite the accident controversy, and having RMC covert Mean Streak to Steel Vengeance so there’s two precedents for restoring bad rides already. How serendipitous. I just visited Over Georgia for my first time on Sunday. Rode everything there (except Kid Flash cause it was closed) and Blue Hawk was by far the worst and most painful coaster I rode there, even worse than Scream Machine. I do not like those Vekoma trains and the transitions were very rough and painful. It was the coaster that immediately came to mind when I saw this video pop in my feed and lo and behold, it's high up there.

    Honestly I'd love to see Six Flags do something about Mindbender at SFOG. The new trains absolutely ruined in the experience and were a complete fail as a revamp.
    Kraken at Sea World Orlando needs a retrack as well. It's running rougher than I could have imagined it would ever be when I first rode it back in 2002. And while we are in Florida I'd much prefer to see them retrack Kumba rather than replace it.
    If they are going to scrap or get rid of something in BGT it probably needs to be Scorpion. I like it but it's too small and too short and it's pretty long in the tooth.

    Although not really in the same ballpark as most of the coasters in this list The Smiler at Alton Towers is one that needs new track, trains or something! the way it runs so rough after just 11 years makes me think it might not last the 25-30 years that is seemingly the steel coaster standard.

    Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain desperately needs TLC, it's in it's own lightly themed area (unless you count X2, which I guess it's kind of close to) of the park that has lots of potential. Theres nothing else over there, not even a shop. It's so out of the way that everytime I've gone to ride Viper it's always a walk on. It's surprising that it's still operating. It definitely needs new trains, and I think adding a flat ride or something else in that area would really help. Plus giving it fresh paint

    No Thunderation?? Hmm. I feel like it was not included because its not super popular, but that being said i still give it a ride any time im there. It is pretty rough but with new track it could really shine again. Plus its silver dollar city, i mean how are you going to have an 1880's themed park and no mine train. They might go the route of building a new version but i really hope they dont.

    Yeah, Viper at Magic Mountain has been rough from the very beginning. It was rough the first time I went on it, and it was still just as rough the next time I rode it over a decade later. I always end up coming off of it with a headache. Canyon Blaster at the Circus Circus Adventuredome was the very first looping coaster I ever went on in August of 1994. I'm glad Desperado will eventually reopen. That means I still have a chance to ride it. I still haven't yet. Maybe one day.

    I feel like Demon being retracked is very possible because its one of the park's OG iconic coasters. And with a retrack, it would be a perfect intro looping coaster for a younger generation. I just hope they leave the themeing alone, its awesome with its current theme.

    As far as I know Rock N'Roller coaster just got/is being retracked which is why its been down in stages for so long over the last few years but Ive heard it might be getting a retheme next year because of the age of the theme so its a possible I just dont think it will be the track for a while. For Big Apple yeah I rode it with the old trains because you have to in Vegas ow is all i have to say and it needs it. I was thinking as people have suggested the other Viper could use this treatment if they arnt planning on ripping it out and putting a dive or similar into that area. It suffers a bit because its rough but if it was smoothered out even a little bit i think it would get people back riding it and it is getting to that point of nearly being a historic coaster.

    disney seems to have a special relationship with vekoma much like you were saying 6 flags works with premier rides. I know this video is about parks wanting to keep an existing layout, but I'd much rather see some of these Arrow and Vekoma loopers get the Chance (Morgan) Treatment and turn some of these inversion focused coaster into airtime machines! I have to believe that Chance Rides has drawings for whatever Morgan did to rework the otsr from Steel Phantom to make Phantoms Revenge. Even if some of the smaller ones with tighter transitions had the use the Hyper GT-X trains I still think it would be way better than all those inversions. I'm not sold Premier's retrack would fix a ride with corkscrews. Nessie just had the 2 vertical loops and they weren't that bad to begin with.
