I wasn’t aware that being a Globalist would waive the resort fees for their resort properties, actually didn’t know they had resort properties ha.
Great overview JP, I’ve often wondered why people valued Globalist enough that would warrant a mattress run, seems like you got a good amount of value from it!
Ps. 4pm checkout is INSANE. I’ll always try to check in early and get OVER 24 hours in the hotel. Love it.

4pm Checkout is a very underrated benefit, and the resort fees waived have come in handy many times for me, saving me a decent chunk of change. If you ever have the opportunity to become a hyatt globalist, I highly recommend it. I'm currently in Spain enjoying all the awesome benefits 😎 🇪🇸

Marriott, even with Titanium Status, maximum 2 person can access the lounge but with Hyatt, my family of 4 have access the club for free. (I book 1 room only) Even with free full service breakfast, all 4 of us are free too. Upon check out, my folio usually is zero. (Yes, I am a globalist) Hyatt is on another level.

Have you noticed how often there are fast track promotions for globalist? Once a year maybe? I should have done the Bilt promo but I was just learning about Hyatt. I’m now obsessed with Hyatt and globalist is goals! Should be hitting 20 nights this year but hoping a fast track promo comes along soon!! Love the channel, always super helpful info!

They've had one each year for the last 3 years at different times during the year. I'm not sure if they will have one next year. I hope so. I love Hyatt, too, and being a Globalist is pretty awesome. Glad you enjoy the content. Thanks for watching!

My datapoints - I have a one-hundred-percent suite upgrade rate and 4 p.m. late check-out rate with Hyatt Glob and Marriott Plat. With Hilton Diamond I've been getting suite upgrades overseas but I have to beg and plead to check out at 1 or 2 p.m. 😂

Marriott/MGM: hmmm. I wonder if Marriott points will become better value now 🤔
Ubering: I'd definitely recommend this in Los Angeles Korea town. finding parking is crazy! better to just give someone 20 bucks and get transportation taken care of

Becoming a Hyatt Globalist is definitely something I'm interested in over time. I imagine I'll have to achieve that during a promo of some kind, but considering how much of a Hyatt fan I am, I see myself trying to get it at some point no matter what.
Out of curiosity, how easy will it be for you to retain that status for the coming years? I haven't looked into the details of that yet, but that could definitely be a difficult thing to do if you have to hit those minimum requirements for Globalist every year.
Great video all around JP! This was a super entertaining watch.

I remember ordering the traditional Japanese breakfast and was soooo full. Also got a delicious yogurt parfait with honey in it. Total value was ~$50 but all of it was free! It felt weird eating so much food for over an hour and being so full, but getting all that for free was amazing!

Eliza Jane during Mardi Gras 2024 has ain't no cancellation policy. No refunds will be given at all four cancellations of points for cash. At least that is what they told me on the phone a couple weeks back

    • @jpknowledge8852

Since Marti Gras is such a big event, they don't give you the option to cancel. Hotels are super expensive during Marti Gras. You can get great value for your points.

JP are you going to be able to hit Globalist again this year? I am at a total of 8 nights so farvthis year but have 15 nights booked for the rest of the year. This years first half travel was reduced a bit but even if I got the Hyatt business card I probably still coildnt make 60 nights. Lol
